RAPID CITY - William F. Frerichs, 77, Rapid City, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Frerichs, Rapid City; one son, Monty Frerichs, Box Elder; one daughter, Cheryl Caldwell, Roswell, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 7, and for one hour before services Monday, July 8, at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wesley Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain View cemetery in Rapid City.
Matthew 'Matt' Furze
PIERRE - Matthew "Matt" Furze, 95, Pierre, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, Pierre; one son, Matthew, Phoenix; one daughter, Ruth Ann, Manhattan, Kan.; one sister, Rebecca Lee, Buffalo, Wyo.; and one brother, Wallace Furze, Lead.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. CDT today, with a 7 p.m. Masonic service, at Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at First United Methodist Church in Pierre.
Burial will follow at Riverside cemetery in Pierre.
Oliver G. 'Eggy' Make Shine
RAPID CITY - Oliver G. "Eggy" Make Shine, 79, Rapid City and formerly of Allen, died at his home.
Survivors include one daughter, Wilma Cottier McDougald, Rapid City; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the CAP Building in Allen.

Christopher F. Scadron
RAPID CITY - The Rev. Christopher F. Scadron, 81, Rapid City, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at a local nursing home.
Survivors include one brother, Dr. Hubert Scadron, Dallas, Texas.
Arrangements are pending with Kirk Funeral Home of Rapid City.
D.D. 'Tommy' Thompson
RAPID CITY - D.D. "Tommy" Thompson, 73, Rapid City, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Thompson, Rapid City; two daughters, Deborah Kline, Rapid City, and Rhonda Purkapile, Pierre; three sons, Randall Thompson, Wright, Wyo., Kevin Thompson, Rapid City, and Craig Thompson, Marion, Iowa; one brother, Donald Thompson, Hot Springs; one sister, Ileene Geiser, Harrison, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending with Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City.
Anna T. Gorsuch
HOT SPRINGS - Anna T. Gorsuch, 90, Hot Springs, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Arrangements are pending with McColley's Chapels of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Paul Francis Sack
SPEARFISH - Paul Francis Sack, 76, Spearfish, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Kokesh Loving Care Home in Spearfish.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Sack, Spearfish; one daughter, Paula Mowry, New Delhi, India; two sons, Michael Sack, Spearfish, and Kelly Sack, Newport Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Jeanne Johnson, Manteno, Ill., Eileen Hofer, Onida, and Ann Bridges, Fort Pierre; four brothers, Leland Sack, Fort Pierre, Donald Sack, Snohomish, Wash., Dan Sack, Kansas City, Mo., and Frank Sack, Fort Pierre; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946.
Visitation will be for one hour before services Monday, July 8, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Spearfish.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Tim Hoag officiating.
Burial, with full military honors, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis.

Anna Theresa Kirk Gorsuch
HOT SPRINGS - Anna Theresa Kirk Gorsuch, 90, Hot Springs, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Larry Gorsuch, Richland, Wash.; three daughters, Lila Mohler, Evanston, Wyo., Janet Johnson, Brandon, and Marilyn Summerford; two sisters, Ellen Farrar, Rapid City, and Mary Brady, Spearfish; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Gary Warren officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fairburn cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Fairburn cemetery.
Floyd Crazy Thunder
OGLALA - Floyd Crazy Thunder, 33, Oglala, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in Atkin, Minn.
Survivors include two sons, Alexander Crazy Thunder, McGregor, Minn., and Delane Crazy Thunder, Bismarck, N.D.; three daughters, Winona Crazy Thunder, McGregor, and Shawdeane Crazy Thunder and Nadine Crazy Thunder, both of Bismarck; his mother and stepfather, Catherine and Stanley Looking Elk, Oglala; two brothers, Norman Crazy Thunder Jr., St. Paul, Minn., and Lewis Crazy Thunder, Oglala; two adopted brothers, Matthew Hinton, San Carlos, Ariz., and Mac Hinton Jr., Oglala; and four sisters, Annette Yellow Horse, Cynthia Crazy Thunder, Helen Hinton and Heather Looking Elk, all of Oglala.
A two-night wake will begin at 1 p.m. today in the Loneman School gym in Oglala.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Loneman School, with the Rev. Raymond Bucko officiating.
Burial will be at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic cemetery in Oglala.

Carl Robert Harrison
RAPID CITY - Carl Robert Harrison, 69, Rapid City, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at Fort Meade Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Sturgis.
Survivors include two sons, David Harrison and Steven Harrison, both of Madison, Wis., and one sister, Wilma Monger, Las Vegas.
Graveside rites, with military honors by Sturgis Honor Guard, were Friday, July 5, at Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis, with Chaplain Moe Greiner officiating.
Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis was in charge of arrangements.
Warren Walker 'Buster' Hunsley
PIERRE - Warren Walker "Buster" Hunsley, 87, Pierre, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Hunsley; one son, Roger Hunsley, Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, July 7, at Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at United Congregational Church of Christ in Fort Pierre.
Burial will follow at Riverside cemetery in Pierre.

David P. Lindquist
HOT SPRINGS - David P. Lindquist, 73, Hot Springs, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at Hot Springs Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Survivors include one sister, Bonnie Cowles, Carrollton, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1958.
At his request, no services will be held.
McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs is in charge of arrangements.
Bradley H. Plymate
DEADWOOD - Bradley H. Plymate, 48, Deadwood and formerly of Rapid City, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Derek Plymate, North Las Vegas, Nev., and his parents, Elden and Mabel Plymate, Chisago City, Minn.
Services will be at a later date in Ft. Frances, Ontario.

Levi L. Petersen
RAPID CITY - Levi L. Petersen, 84, Rapid City, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Petersen, Lead; two daughters, Judith Schoenfelder, Rapid City, and Lee Ann Baumgartner, Sioux Falls; three sons, Robert Petersen, Avon, Thomas Petersen, Rapid City, and James Petersen, Gillette, Wyo.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Petersen, Spearfish; and one sister, Edna Donahue, Phoenix.
Visitation will be for one hour before services, which will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Fidler Funeral Chapel in Lead, with the Rev. David Maertz officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain Lawn cemetery in Lead.
A memorial has been established to Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City.
