Sudie Beasley Morgan
Funeral service for Sudie Beasley Morgan, 92, was at 1 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2002, at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan, Tenn. Interment icon was at Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan died May 10 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tenn.
She was a homemaker and member of the Camden Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons, Gene Morgan, McKenzie, Tenn., and Wendell Morgan, Dickson; grandchildren, Melissa Morgan Smith, Franklin, Jennifer Morgan Truitt, Decatur, Ala., Wendell Landon Morgan, Memphis, Christina Morgan Dugall, Evansville, Ind.; six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Albert Morgan.

Randy Lee Piercey
Funeral service for Randy Lee Piercey, 47, of Dickson was at 2 p.m. Monday, may 12, 2002, from Sewell Funeral Home in Albany, Ky., with Brother Larry Brown officiating. Interment icon was at Peolia cemetery in Albany.
Mr. Piercey died Saturday, May 11, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include special friend, Tammy Guffey, Dickson; step-daughter Kasie Guffey, Dickson; sister, Ronda Whitehurst, Littleton, Colo.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ora Lee Schmittou
Funeral service for Ora Lee Schmittou, 91, of Garden City. Mich., will be today, May 15, 2002, from L.J. Griffin Funeral Home in Westland, Mich., with Rev. Harold R. McDonald of Fair Haven Baptist Church officiating. Interment icon will be at Maple Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Schmittou died Sunday, May 12, at St. Jude Convalescent Home.
She was a native of Dickson County and a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, P. Alfred (Ruth) Schmittou, and Ernest L, Schmittou; daughter, Helen G. Ridgway; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zina E. Schmittou, and son, Perry Schmittou.

Jerry Dean Street
Funeral service for Jerry Dean Street, 48, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2002, from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Dale Miller and Steve Montgomery officiating.
Mr. Street died Friday, May 10, at his home in Hickman County. A native of Dickson County, he was the son of Kenneth and Lorene Weatherspoon Street. He was a truck driver and tool and die maker.
Survivors are, in addition to his parents, his wife, Deborah Hampton Street, Pinewood; sons, Jason Dean Street, Bon Aqua, Seth Dean Street, Dickson, Jeremy Lilly Street, Charlotte; brother Michael (Mike) Street, Hickman County.

Edith Marie Toy
Funeral service for Edith Marie Toy, 76, of Bon Aqua, was 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2002, from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Bill McDonald officiating. Interment icon was at Harpeth Hills cemetery.
Mrs. Toy died Saturday, May 11, at Dickson County Nursing Home.
The daughter of the late Lillie Mae Rainey and Luther Jenkins, she was a licensed practical nurse at Horizon Medical Center and a member of the Clearview Church of Christ.
Survivors include son, Randy Toy, Lyles; sister, Freida Toy; grandchildren, Jennifer Dahlberg, Clinton Toy, Cofie Toy, Austin Toy; great grandson, Hunter Dahlberg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Toy, and son, Larry Toy.
Memorials may be made to the Clearview Church of Christ.

James Duke
Funeral service for James Wagner Duke, 85, will be held today, Friday, May 10, 2002, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with James E. Sullivan officiating. Entombment will be at the Williams cemetery Mausoleum in White Bluff.
Mr. Duke died Wednesday, May 8, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. A native of Tennessee, he was the son of the late Marvin Johnson and Liza Larkins Duke. He was a retired educator with the Dickson County School System, a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of the White Bluff Church of Christ.
Survivors are his son, David (Sharon) Duke, White Bluff; daughters, Rachel (Willie) Simmons, White Bluff, Susan (Charles) Beasley, Nashville; one grandchild, Paige (Chad) head, White Bluff.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife Dorothy Sue Wilson Duke.
Those desiring may make memorials to the Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund in White Bluff.

Maxine Ranson
Graveside services for Mrs. Maxine Bryan Ranson, 85, of Dothan, Ala., were 3 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2002, at Dickson Union cemetery with arrangements by Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson and Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Dothan, Ala.
Mrs. Ranson died Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Extendicare Hospice Services facility in Dothan. A native of Humphreys County, she lived in Jackson, Tenn. for more than 40 years, moving to Dothan in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Florence Hood Miller; her husbands, William J. Bryan and Emmett Ranson; two sisters, Hester Baker and Loraine Murrell, and two brothers, Alfie Miller and James Doyle Miller.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Johnnie Bryan, of Dothan; a sister, Vallie Wall, of Dickson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Ann Miller, of Dickson, and Woodson and Elise Miller, of Nashville; four grandchildren, Lisa Anderson, of Royal Oak, Mich., Billy (Virgia) Bryan, of Yellowstone, Wyo., Shawn (Karen) Bryan, of Baltimore, Md., and Todd (Kristie) Anderson, of Dothan; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Anderson, of Dothan, Connor Hartman, of Baltimore, Md., and Alex Person, of Jackson; several nieces and nephews.
Those desiring, memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Faye Donegan Bishop
Graveside services for Mrs. Faye Donegan Bishop, 65, of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., formerly of Dickson, Tenn., were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002 in Dickson Union cemetery, with Rev. Phil Ross officiating. Taylor Funeral Home, in Dickson, handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Bishop died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002 in Soddy Daisy Health Care Center. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Roy D. Donegan and Anna Clifton Donegan. She worked as a phone operator at the former Goodlark Hospital and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Nela Renae Swiney, of Dayton, Tenn., a sister, Mildred Harris, of Dickson; two granddaughters, CeJay Swiney and Cassie Swiney.

Ricco DeVoy Brown
Funeral services for Mr. Ricco DeVoy Brown, 23, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, in Dickson, Tenn., with Rev. Robert Bogus officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, in Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville. A native of Davidson County, he was the son of Hal and Yvetta Brown. He was a salesperson in the automotive department of Sears. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a grandmother, Earnestine Collier Marable.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Jayden Nevada McIllwain; sister, Ashley Yvette Brown; stepbrother, Andre Eugene Marable; grandparents, Hattie Pearl Hannah and Billy Gene Brown, both of Dickson, Floyd Anthony Collier, of Nashville; god grandmother, Myrtle Pollard, of Dickson; a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

James Wilson Burris
Funeral services for James Wilton Burris, 79, of Church Street, in McEwen, Tenn., will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, with Jim Suddeath, Jim Tyler and James Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Lawn cemetery, in McEwen.
Mr. Burris died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002 at St. Thomas Hospital, in Nashville. A native of Lyles, Tenn., he was the son of the late Rosamond Bramlett Burris and George Lewis Burris and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include wife, Anne Street Burris, of McEwen; son, Mike Burris, and his wife Kathy; daughters, June Short, Rose Todd, and her husband, Ed; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Robby Dotson
Funeral services for Mr. Robby Dotson, 22, of Dickson, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Clifton officiating. Burial followed in the Dickson Union cemetery.
Mr. Dotson died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in Waverly, Tenn. He was a native of Dickson and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Fleet.
Survivors include his parents, Dean and Ruby Dotson, of Dickson; brother, Michael Fleet, of Dickson; grandmothers, Lucille Clifton and Louise Dotson, both of Dickson; and several aunts and uncles.

Carl Jefferson Gentry
Funeral services for Mr. Carl Jefferson Gentry, 88, of Burns, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at Dickson Funeral Home.
Mr. Gentry died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002 at National Health Care, in Dickson. A native of Dickson County, he was the son of the late Trula Brown and Thomas Jefferson Gentry. He was a retired forklift operator for Sears.
Survivors include wife, Mary Isabel Gentry, of Dickson; son, Gary Gentry, of Dickson; daughter, Gail G. Jones, of Dickson; brother, Kenneth Gentry, of Fairview, Tenn.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
