Tim Jackson
Funeral services for Mr. Tim Jackson, 49, were 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004 at Water St. Church of Christ with Bill McDonald and Mark Daniel officiating. Interment icon followed in the Union cemetery.
Mr. Jackson of Dickson, Tenn., was born on June 8, 1954 in Nashville, Tenn. He died on Feb. 2, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. He was a member of the Water St. Church of Christ. He was employed as a nurse in the medical field with Vanderbilt.
Survivors include his mother, Robert Jackson of Dickson, Tenn., brother, Tracy “T.J.” Jackson of Waynesville, N.C., stepsisters, Phyllis Minor of Charlotte, Tenn., Kathy Morgan of Charlotte, Tenn., and Cheryl K. Windsor of Dickson, Tenn.; three nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, James Brent Jackson and Trent Daniel Jackson, and father, James “Jimbo” Jackson.

Frank L. Mucerino, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Frank L. Mucerino, Sr., 79, were 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 in the chapel of Spann Funeral Home in Dickson, Tenn., with Pastor Dave Deerman officiating. Interment icon followed at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Mucerino, of Dickson, Tenn., died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004 at Baptist Hospital.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Frank L. Mucerino Jr. and Laura, of Dickson, Tenn.; four daughters, Diane Reynolds of Nashville, Tenn., Patricia Ann Mucerino of California, Janet Mucerino of Nashville, Tenn., Nancy Henley of Smyrna, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Frank Mucerino III, Michael Chase Mucerino, George Walls and Christopher Henley; and one niece, Carol Lynn Kabacoff of Maine.
In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to Dickson First Assembly of God building fund.

Paul Albert Nicks
Funeral service for Mr. Paul Albert Nicks, 82, is 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2004 at the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. James Huff officiating. Interment icon follows in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Nicks of Dickson, Tenn. died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at Dickson County Nursing Home.
Survivors include wife, Marion Vivian Smith Nicks of Dickson, Tenn.; sons, Jerry Nicks of Mich. and Jimmy and wife, Tammy, Nicks of Dickson, Tenn.; daughters, Jeannie, and husband, Jerry Little of Mich. and Janis Huff of Mich.; brothers, Johnny Nicks of Newfoundland, Canada and Hubert Ray Nicks of Mich.; sisters, Peggy Batey of Ashland City, Tenn. and Ruth Proctor of Charlotte, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ida Belle Petty
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Belle Petty, 86, is 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2004 at McDonald Funeral Home with Jay Bybee officiating. Interment icon follows at Petty cemetery in Nunnelly, Tenn.
Mrs. Petty of Nunnelly, Tenn. was born on Feb. 16, 1917 in Cedar, Iowa. She died on Feb. 3, 2004 at Life Care Center in Centerville, Tenn. She was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church and was a manufacturing/machine operator for Red Cap Mfg. She was the daughter of the late William Earl Smith and Bessie Azella Rickert.
Survivors include son, George E. Petty, Jr. of Nunnelly, Tenn.; grandson, George E. Petty, III of San Diego, Calif.; granddaughter, Emily M. Vleck of Virginia Beach, Va.; great-grandchild, Emma Leigh Vleck of Virginia Beach, Va.; and sister Lois Hooper of Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Emmett Petty, Sr.

Harriet L. Puckett
Funeral services for Mrs. Harriett L. Puckett, 76, is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 in the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, Tenn., with Rev. Newsome Harvey officiating. Interment icon will follow at Overton County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Puckett of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., formerly of Livingston, was born Feb. 20, 1927 in Neosho, Mo. She died on Feb. 1, 2004 at Mt. Juliet Health Care. She was a sales representative in the textile industry, a member of Livingston Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Civic & Garden Club, Home Demonstration Clubs, and work with Vice-President Al Gore at LBJ & C Corporation.
Survivors include sons, Max Puckett of Fairfax, Va. and Steve Puckett of LaPine, Ore.; daughters, Judy Puckett Critchfield of Dumfries, Va., Frieda DeVandry of Dickson, Tenn., Barbara Rollins of Old Hickory, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dow Frederick and Julia Geraldine Butler Snyder, her husband, Frank M. Puckett, Sr. and brother, Jim Snyder.

Phyllis Ann Reynolds
Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ann Reynolds, 56, is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2004 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bros. Ralph Taylor and Edgar Beard officiating. Interment icon follows at Sherwood cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds was born in Dickson County, Tenn. on April 12, 1947. She died on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. She was a member of the Pond Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother, Geneva Crews of Dickson, Tenn.; son, Lannie and wife Mary Reynolds of New Bern, N.C.; brothers, Dwight E. Crews of Dickson, Tenn., and Danny Lee and wife, Pamela Crews of Dickson, Tenn.; sister, Shelia and husband, Mark Allen of Dickson, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jessica and Paul Reynolds of New Bern, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Crews and husband, Clayton Eugene Reynolds.

Mary H. Vivrett
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary H. Vivrett, 88 were 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Paul Gunn and Bro. Reese Cochran officiating. Interment icon followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Members of Mt. Juliet Masonic Lodge served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Vivrett was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet where she worked with the children of the church, was a member of WMC, and was secretary of the Seniors. She was a charter member and Past Matron of Harvey Freeman Chapter #181, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine. She was a charter member of the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizen Center and a member of the Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Vivrett was the wife of the late John B. Vivrett.
Survivors include her son, Emmett and wife, Ruth Ann Vivrett of White Bluff, Tenn.; brother, Bill and wife, Martha Kincaid of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Rocky and wife, Amy Gossett and Stephen Vivrett; great-grandchildren, Steve Vivrett, Lauren Gossett, Dylan Gossett and Paige Gossett.
Memorials may be made to the Youth Summer Camp Fund at First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet, 735 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122

Natalie Nesbitt Woodland
Funeral service for Mrs. Natalie Nesbitt Woodland, 89, were 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004 at Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church in the Yellow Creek Community with Rev. Roy West and Rev. George Adair officiating. Interment icon followed in the Adams-Nesbitt cemetery.
Mrs. Woodland, a retired school teacher from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 in Montgomery County Nursing Home in Clarksville, Tenn. She was the recipient of a Doctor’s degree in Arts from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Couch and her husband, Gary Lee Couch of Clarksville, Tenn.; one brother, William J. Nesbitt of Vanleer, Tenn.; one sister, Gloria Pursley of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Angelina Tipton and her husband, Matt, of Vanleer, Tenn., Jackie Couch of Clarksville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Ashley Kay Tipton, Samantha Marie Tipton and Zachary Ein Tipton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Woodland, her parents, Edgar Jones “E.J.” Nesbitt and Mary Warden Nesbitt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, Cookeville, Tenn.; Hilldale United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Tenn. and Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church in the Yellow Creek Community.

Bobby Ronald Barnett
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ronald Barnett, 64, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Lankford officiating. Interment icon will follow in Hilltop cemetery in Hickman County, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Buttrey Barnett of Burns, Tenn.; two sons, Ronald E. Barnett of Jackson, Tenn. and Benjamin Barnett of Burns, Tenn.; three daughters, Bonnie Stringer and her husband, Kerry of Fairview, Tenn.; Lisa Lankford and her husband, Mike of Dickson, Tenn.; Donna Schleicher and her husband, John of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Billy C. Barnett of Dickson, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Johnathon, Joshua, Jacob, Johnna, Sarah, Justin and Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Barnett and Ercie Mae Brewer Barnett.

Joseph Carlton
Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Carlton, 66, were 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Hubbard officiating. Interment icon followed at East Dickson cemetery.
Mr. Carlton, of Franklin, Tenn., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center.
He is survived by his son, Robert Carlton of Antioch, Tenn.

Sheryl Lynn Christensen Cowan
Funeral services for Mrs. Sheryl Lynn (Sherri) Christensen Cowan, 53, are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Farris officiating. Interment icon follows in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cowan, a native of Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 in National Health Care Center. She was a patrol deputy with Humphreys County Sheriff Department. She attended Kirkwood College, where she received a degree in criminal justice. She worked all of her life in community law enforcement. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Cowan of McEwen, Tenn.; her father, Merle Christensen of Clarindia, Iowa; her brother, Jay Christensen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her sister, Sharon Cannon, also of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; an aunt, Joyce Porter of Olathe, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Fisher.

Janice Eloise England
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Eloise England, 37, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 in the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Remains were cremated.
Mrs. England was born Sept. 17, 1966 in Pontiac, Mich. She died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 in Fairview. She was employed as a daycare worker at Wee Care in Bellevue.
Survivors include her father, John R. England of Centerville, Tenn.; her mother, Patricia (Thomas) Broderick of Dickson, Tenn.; son, Corey Givens of Lyles, Tenn.; daughters, Lindsey Nelson of Dickson, Tenn. and Alexis England of Fairview, Tenn.; sister, Rhonda Terry of Madison, Tenn.; niece, Mandy Hunt; nephew, Nathan Terry; and ex-husband, Todd Givens.

Lois Yvonne Jefferson
Funeral services for Miss Lois Yvonne Jefferson, 52, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, Mich., Miss Jefferson died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. She was a resident of Developmental Services. She was the daughter of the late Willie James Jefferson Sr. and Rose Lee Ivory.
Survivors include her extended Developmental Services Family.
