Leonard Seiber, 61, of Clinton, died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mr. Seiber is survived by his wife, Phyllis Seiber; six sisters, Beatrice Bray, Barbara Everette, Bernice Lowe, Nancy Brock, Peggy Melhorn and Sue Wells; five brothers, Rayburn Seiber, Roger Seiber, Howard Seiber, Donnie Seiber and Charles Seiber; and his stepmother, Bonnie Seiber.
The funeral was to be held at 2 this afternoon, March 6, at Shiloh Baptist Church of the New River community of Lake City.
Burial was to follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery

Edna Marie Murray

Edna Marie Murray, 72, of Heiskell, died Friday, March 3, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Murray was a homemaker and the widow of John Murray.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Murray and his wife, Brenda, and James Murray and his wife, Tina; her daughter, Joann Bell; her daughter-in-law, Stacy Murray; her brother, Raymond Lewis; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob and Kimberly Murray.
A graveside service was to be held at 2:30 this afternoon, March 6, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with the Rev. Raymond Long officiating.

Roger Glenn Hendrick Sr.
Former Oak Ridge resident
Roger Glenn Hendrick Sr., 74, of Tullahoma, formerly of Oak Ridge, died Sunday morning, March 5, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Hendrick is survived by his wife, Emma Hendrick; his daughter, Patricia Mathis of Estill Springs; two sons, Laurence Hendrick of Tullahoma and Roger G. Hendrick Jr. of Savannah; two sisters, Betty Smith of Jackson, Mich., and Julie Kelley of Melbourne, Fla.; and one grandson.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Mary Nutter and Vicar Robert Carabotta officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
The family requests any memorials be in the form of donations to the Expansion Fund of Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma; the Hospice of the Highland Rim Inc.; or the Multi-County Cancer Support Network.

Anderson 'Butch' Schubert
Retired building contractor
Anderson "Butch" Schubert, 84, of Clinton, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Schubert was a retired building contractor and owned and operated Schubert Building Supply.
After retiring, he enjoyed woodworking and making crafts, and his family said he loved feeding the many types of birds that came by his place. He was also an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
Born Nov. 22, 1915, in Morgan County, Mr. Schubert was the son of A.H. and Rachel Hall Schubert, both deceased. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Morgan County.
He is survived by his son, Rick Schubert and his wife, Karen, of Clinton; four sisters, Mary Greene, Juanita Jones and Wanda Shipe and her husband, Harry, all of Wartburg, and Geraldine Adkisson of Harriman; his grandchild, LeShea Schubert of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Naomi Schubert of Clinton is his former wife. Mary Pitchford of Oak Ridge is considered a special friend.
His twin brother, Henderson Schubert, two other brothers, Woodrow Schubert and Marylin Schubert, and two sisters, Arietta Kenny and Glenna Schubert, died earlier.
The funeral was held Sunday night, March 5, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Justin Phillips officiating.
A graveside service was to be held at 2 this afternoon, March 6, at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.
Jackie Sue Brooks
New Life Assembly member
Jackie Sue Brooks, 58, of Old Edgemoor Lane, Powell, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church of Heiskell.
She was the daughter of Floyd and Ella Williams, who are deceased.
She is survived by three daughters, Katherine Lively and her husband, Rickey, of Powell, Susan Cox and her husband, Donnie, of Heiskell and Mary Wallace and her husband, Jeff, of Claxton; her son, Cecil Moneymaker and his wife, Kathy, of Knoxville; three sisters, Betty Thomas of Knoxville, Sarah Pickett and her husband, Johnny, of Heiskell, and Reba Smith and her husband, Tommy, of Norris; and by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A brother and two sisters, Ewing Williams, Linda Deputy and Patsy Buchanan, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Darlene Miller officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
James Thomas Reel
Kingston resident
James Thomas Reel, 78, of Kingston, died Friday, March 3, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mr. Reel was a member of the Community Church of Christ. His parents, George and Minnie Reel, who are deceased, had lived in Oak Ridge.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, his family said.
Mr. Reel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Elizabeth Reel; his daughter, Libby Reel of Kingston; three sons, Richard Reel and his wife, Laura, of Kingston, Don Reel and his wife, Carol, of Tiptonville and Tom Reel and his wife, Nancy, of Paducah, Ky.; his sister, Shirley Cabage of Knoxville; three brothers, Clifford Reel of Lake Placid, Fla., Willard Reel of Kingsport and Smedley Dee Reel of Manchester; and by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, another brother, Stanley Reel, who also lived in Oak Ridge, died earlier.
The funeral was held Sunday, March 5, in the chapel of Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston with Don Reel, Danny Nunn and Clifford Reel officiating.
Burial followed at Roane Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to the building fund at the Community Church of Christ.
Minnie Ball Henry
Member of Robertsville Baptist Church
Minnie Ball Henry, 97, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Continuum Courtyards of Oak Ridge, where her family said she was lovingly cared for since March 1999.
Born in Honaker, Va., she was the daughter of Cornelias and Luevina Ball. She was the widow of a longtime resident of Oak Ridge, Ray Henry, who died Dec. 15, 1996.
She was a member of Robertsville Baptist Church. Her hobbies included flower gardening, bird watching and reading.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Burl Fisher Sr.
Mrs. Henry is survived by her grandson, Burl Fisher Jr. and wife, Harriet, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two stepsons, Joe Henry and wife, Louise, of Louisville, Ky., and James Henry of Eldorado, Ark.; her stepdaughter, Roberta Agnew and husband, Dr. John Agnew, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her niece, Doris Garrett, of Union, Ohio; and by seven stepgrandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.
Dean Nelson
Clinton resident
Dean Nelson, 65, of Clinton, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at his residence.
Born in 1938 in Long Beach, Calif., he graduated from Chula Vista High School in California in 1957. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958. He served in South East Asia in 1967 and 1968 during the Vietnam War. He and his bride of 43 years, Lorraine Nelson, were stationed in Texas, Wyoming, California, New Mexico, Florida, Maryland, Germany, Illinois and finally the Pentagon in Washington D.C., where Mr. Nelson was the Department of Defense Liaison Officer to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
They retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1985, after 27 years. After a short stay in Western New York at a place called Model City, which is North of Niagara Falls, they moved to Oak Ridge in 1987. Mr. Nelson was the chief engineer for PEER Consultants in Oak Ridge until his death. His family said he was the best and most loving husband and father a family could ever want.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Nelson is survived by two sons, David and wife, Reva, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mike and wife, Bonnie, of Oliver Springs; his brother, Rodney Nelson, of California; and by his faithful companion, Lady.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with Robert Nine officiating.
Burial will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in La Jolla, Calif., at a later date.
The family requests any memorials be in the form of contributions to the University of Wyoming, Air Force Memorial Fund or the University of California at Berkley.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
