Kim Christine Landau

Funeral services for Kim Christine Landau, 51, were 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Joe Baumgartel officiating. Cremation followed.

Landau, a food server at the Waffle House, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at her home. She was a native of Denver, Colo.

Survivors include her son, Logan Sanders Landau of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; mother, Patricia Kleiger of Davis, Fla.; sister, Chana Wasserman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother, Scott Kleiger of Philadelphia, Pa., and fiance, Robin Mincey of Dickson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward J. Kleiger.

Desiree’ Janice McCulley

Funeral services for Desiree’ Janice McCulley, 12, are 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Pastor Barry Downs officiating. Interment icon will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

Desiree’, a seventh grade student at Dickson Middle School, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was a member of Dickson First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her mother, Kim McCulley of Columbia; father, John McCulley of Dickson; sister, Jennifer McCulley of Fairfield, Ill.; brothers, James McCulley and David McCulley, both of Albion, Ill., and Nick Rushing of Franklin; maternal grandparents, Sheron Ponds of New Johnsonville and Gene Cobb of Charlotte; and paternal grandmother, Olive McCulley of Fairfield, Ill.

Virginia Grace Miller

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Grace Miller, 77, were 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 in the Woodlawn Chapel of Roses in Nashville with Pastor Jared Henry officiating. Interment icon followed in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Miller died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004. She enjoyed working elections.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Streeval and son-in law, Paul; grandchildren, Amy Miller and husband, Shawn Fair, Jamie Smith, Ann Marie Streeval and Eric Streeval; great-grandchildren, Ronjala and Ronjkla Smith; and family friends, Kelly Edmondson and Amy Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William H. Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Alive Hospice.

Thomas Carter Wells

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Carter Wells, 64, are 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 in the Clement Room of Dickson Funeral Home.

Mr. Wells of Bon Aqua was born in Giles County on Jan. 7, 1940. He died on Nov. 15, 2004 in Hickman County. He retired from Alcoa and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1958-1962.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Parchment Wells of Bon Aqua; son, Brian Keith Wells of Bon Aqua; sisters, Ruth Hulsey of Nashville, Bonnie McDougal of Hendersonville, Sue Rowe of Maryville and Jane Comstock and Carol Sircy, both of Greenbrier.

He was preceded in death by parents, James Carter and Felix West Wells.

Evelyn Redden Choate

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Redden Choate, 90, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Rev. Roy West, Rev. Sam Brown and Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery.

Mrs. Choate, a retired machine operator with the former Red Kap Industry, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at her home. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Kay Kimmons and her husband, Gary of Dickson; grandson, Dr. Tony Kimmons of Franklin; sister, Frances Moore of Dickson; brothers, Thomas Cannon Redden of Hohenwald and Gerald (Jerry) L. Redden of Dickson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Howard and Mary Cannon Haley Redden; and husband, Raymond E. Choate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.

Jessie Marie Clifton

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Marie Clifton, 66, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 in the chapel of Young Funeral Home in Linden with Ronnie Brewer officiating. Interment icon followed in Gola Warren cemetery.

Mrs. Clifton of Lobelville died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004. Mrs. Clifton had worked in accounting for Wal-Mart #264 in Dickson for 22 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Trull and husband, Donnie of Lobelville; sons, Ricky Clifton and his wife, Sarah of Jackson, Shawn Clifton and his wife, Elaine of Murfreesboro, Jay Dee Clifton and his wife, Cindy of Covington and Shannon Clifton and his wife, Tina of Dickson; mother, Mrs. Vivian Finney of Memphis; brother, Thomas Finney of Memphis; sister, Frankie Lyle of St. Louis, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Jessie Oscar Finney.

James Lansford Clark

Graveside services for Mr. James “Jim” Lansford Clark, 63, were 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 at Averitte cemetery with Pastor Norman Manning officiating. Arrangements handled by Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson.

Mr. Clark, a retired design draftsman with Mueller Company with 35 years experience, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. He was a member of the Christian Faith Center. He served as a deacon of Soddy Daisy First Baptist Church. He was a member of Middle Management Club at Mueller Company.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah “Debbi” Carney Clark of Vanleer; son, Andy Clark of Chattanooga; daughter, Mary Esther Clark Castro of Mt. Juliet; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ralph and Edith Lansford Clark.

Gabriel Wayne Davis

Graveside services for infant Gabriel Wayne Davis were 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 at Rock Church cemetery with Pastor Dave Deerman officiating. Arrangements handled by Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson.

Infant Davis, born Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

Survivors include his parents, Dana and Tamara Overton Davis of Dickson; sisters, Emily Bull of White Bluff and Ashley Hayes, Elizabeth Hayes and Savannah Davis, all of Dickson; maternal grandparents, Don and Eula Overton of Dickson; paternal grandmother, Sharon Davis of McEwen; maternal great-grandmother, Nora Bruce; paternal great-grandparents, Clifton and Roberta Sadler of Somerset, Ky., and Avis Davis of Greensburg, Ky.

James Thomas Murrell

Funeral services for Mr. James Thomas “Jimmy” Murrell, 88, were 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. John Gibbs officiating. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery.

Mr. Murrell, a retired foreman with Tennsco, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 in National Health Care Center in Dickson. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Murrell of Dickson; sons, James Thomas Murrell Jr. of Pulaski and Robert Murrell of Columbia; five grandchildren, Kenneth Murrell, Robert Murrell Jr., Michele Rogers, Vincent Murrell and Amber Holcomb; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Vandivort of Dickson and Juanita Choate of Wrigley.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Murrell; parents, Oscar Murrell and Altha Miller; stepfather, Hubert Miller; and stepmother, Pearl Murrell.

Marcella Marie Rogers

Funeral services for Mrs. Marcella Marie Rogers, 36, were 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Petty officiating. Interment icon followed in Sanders cemetery in the Poplar Grove community.

Mrs. Rogers of Burns died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at Baptist Hospital.

Survivors include her parents, Georgia and Ben H. Rumsey of Dickson; husband, James Rogers of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Daniel Whitworth of Waverly; sisters, Elaine Hatcher and Constance Griffin, both of Waverly; eight nieces and nephews, Sarah, Daniel and Water Payton Whitworth, Alaina and Alexander Griffin, Douglas and Gregory Hall and Karen Buechele.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Leon Hall.

Katie Lewis Spencer

Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Lewis Spencer, 80, were 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Reeves officiating. Interment icon followed in Union cemetery.

Mrs. Spencer of Dickson was born in Centerville on Feb. 18, 1924. She died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was a member of Oak Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, John A. Spencer of Dickson; daughter, Carol Carter and husband, Roger of Dickson; brother, Thomas A. Lewis Jr. of Monteagle; sisters, Jewel Aylott and Norma Brown of Centerville; and grandchild, Adam Carter of Dickson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas L. and Katherine Easley Lewis.

Mayme Lee Tidwell

Funeral services for Mrs. Mayme Lee Tidwell, 78, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. James Parham officiating. Interment icon followed at New Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Tidwell of Dickson (formerly of Bon Aqua) was born in Humphreys County on March 29, 1926. She died on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at NHC Healthcare Center in Dickson. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Harold Tidwell and wife, Debbie of Dickson; and grandchildren, Logan and Jared Tidwell of Dickson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Monroe and Lela Burl Hall Gossett; husband, Melton Tidwell; brother, William O. Gossett; and sisters, Agatha Dorothy Simpson and Mannye Laverne Morris.

Margaret Chandler Collins Rowland

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Chandler Collins Rowland, 58, were 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Rev. Sam Brown and Rev. Robert Hammer officiating. Interment icon followed in Parker-Fowlkes cemetery.

Mrs. Rowland, pricing manager at K-Mart, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004 at her home in Burns. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Rowland of Burns; daughter, Linda Jones of Bon Aqua; brothers, Bobby Chandler of Bon Aqua, Johnny Chandler of Burns, Rick Chandler of Dickson, Woody Chandler of McEwen and Jimmy Chandler of Burns; grandson, Bradley Jones of Bon Aqua; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Tidwell and Ward Chandler; and brother, Jack Chandler.

Memorials may be made to Sarah Cannon’s Breast Cancer Awareness.

William Perret

Funeral mass for Mr. William Z. (Bill) Perret, 91, was 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 from St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Dickson with Father Stephen Gideon officiating. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson.

Mr. Perret, a retired machine operator with McQuiddy Printing Company, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. Born in New Orleans, La., he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his brothers, Clifford J. Perret and John Perret, both of New Orleans, La.; several nieces and nephews and cousins; and special niece, Diane Royal of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Mae Brown Perret.
