Robert Wayne Christy

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Wayne Christy, 57, of White Bluff were 1 p.m. Saturday March 5, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Donny Hutcheson officiating. Interment icon followed in Nosegay cemetery.

Mr. Christy, a machinist with Tennessee Attachment in White Bluff, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at his home. He was the son of the late James Lee Christy and Dorothy Duke Christy.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Sue Finch Christy of White Bluff; one son, Chad Christy and his wife, Lynn Robertson Christy of White Bluff; one daughter, Trista Garton and her husband, Todd of Burns; two brothers, Michael Christy of Ashland City and Danny Christy of White Bluff; four grandchildren, Gage Garton, Coy Garton, Keilee Garton and Sophi Robertson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Christy; and brother, Jimmy Christy.

Joanne Mattaline Sigafoose Deaver

A memorial service for Joanne Mattaline Sigafoose Deaver, 70, was 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Wrigley Church of God of Prophecy in Wrigley. Her remains were cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.

Mrs. Deaver died Friday, March 4, 2005 at Life Health Center in Centerville. She was the daughter of Peter Paul and Anna Cleo Lashbrook Sigafoose and was born in Miami, Fla. She was a retired clerical worker with West Plains Energy and was a member of the Wrigley Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include two sons, Steven (Steve) Craig Sigafoose of Joelton and Michael (Mike) Sigafoose and his wife, Rose Ann of Lyles; one daughter, Terrie Gossett of Hunchinson, Kan.; three brothers, Bill Dinwiddle of Louisville, Ky., Jim Dinwiddle of Leitchfield, Ky., and Bob Dinwiddle of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Millie McGaw of Madisonville, Ky.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Deaver was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Gordon Deaver.

Randall Jamison Dunn

Graveside services for baby Randall Jamison Dunn were 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Union cemetery in Dickson with Bro. Kenny McNat officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Dickson Funeral Home.

Baby Randall Jamison Dunn was stillborn Saturday, March 5, 2005 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.

Survivors include his parents, Randall and Marcie Dunn of McMinnville; grandfather, Robert Upchurch, Hamlet, Ind.; grandmother, Donna Scott, Plymouth, Ind.; step-grandfather, Ron Scott, Plymouth,, Ind.; brothers, Austin and Kaelin Jackson, McMinnville; and sisters, Jenni and Brittany Jackson, McMinnville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy and Sharon Dunn.

Donald Lee Greve Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Lee Greve Sr., 58, were 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed Monday at Highland Gardens in Knoxville.

Mr. Greve died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born in Coozbay, Ore., and was the son of Robert Leroy and Anna Mae Dyer Greve. He made his home in Franklin and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated from ITT, Volunteer State, Columbia State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University where he received a master’s degree in education and a master’s degree in science. He also received a degree in professional microcomputer technology from NRI. He was a Dickson County High School teacher and a member of the National Education Association and a member of East Commerce Baptist Church in Lewisburg.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Weaver Greve of Franklin; a son, Donald Greve Jr. and wife, Dawn of Martins Ferry, Ohio; a daughter, Debora Renee Allen of Clarksville; a brother, Robert T. Greve and wife, Diane of Knoxville; a sister, Robin Rader and husband, Carol of Marshfield, Mo.; a cousin, David Davidson and wife, Gail of Knoxville; and seven grandchildren.

Hilda Jane Hood

Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Jane Hood, 89, were 10 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2005 from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Methodist cemetery in Camden.

Mrs. Hood died Friday, March 4, 2005 at her home in White Bluff. She was born in Benton County, Tenn., and was a retired seamstress at Horace Small Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include a son, Phillip Hood and his wife, Barbara of Franklin; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Candy) Hood and Leslea Hood; one great-grandchild, Mason Hood; and a sister-in-law, Nickie McIver, Tuscumbia, Ala.

Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lena Pafford McIver.

Mary Ella Moore

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ella Moore, 81, were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Wallace Hayes officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Moore of Dickson died Friday, March 4, 2005 at NHC Health Care in Dickson.

Survivors include one son, Charles Moore of Nashville; one daughter, Judy Hayes and her husband, Wallace of Old Hickory; two sisters, Creola Matlock of Mt. Lebanon and Helen Wester of Indiana; two grandchildren, Kelli Douglas (Kevin) and Kyle Hayes (Karen); four great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kraig Douglas and Kory and Kyler Hayes.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Proctor and Lena Story Proctor; brothers William (Bill) Proctor, John Proctor and H.M. Proctor; and a sister, Laverge Christy.

Dorothy Ann Morgan

Funeral services for Dorothy Ann Morgan, 56, of Burns were 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Edgar Meek officiating. Interment icon followed in the Rock Church cemetery.

Miss Morgan died Tuesday, March 1, 2005. She was born in Nashville to James Morgan and Dottie Grove Morgan.

Survivors include her brothers, Paul Morgan, Steve Morgan and Ricky Morgan, all of Burns and Roger Morgan and his wife, Kathy of Dickson; three nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Paul Maynard Pritchard

Graveside services for Paul Maynard Pritchard, 65, of Dickson were Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Collier cemetery near Vanleer with Bro. Andrew Scott officiating. Services were under the direction of Dickson Funeral Home.

Mr. Pritchard died Friday, March 4, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center. He was born in Rome, Miss., and was a disabled janitor.

Survivors include two brothers, Louie and John Pritchard, both of Dickson; nephews, Ron D. Pritchard of Dickson, John Pritchard Jr. and Bobby Pritchard, both of Michigan and Ricky Pritchard of Tennessee; and two nieces, Judy and Sandra, both of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Edward, Lewis, Clyde, Bill and George Pritchard; and two sisters, Olene Foreman and Katherine Pritchard.

Harryett Ann Sears Reed

Funeral services for Mrs. Harryette Ann Sears Reed, 72, of White Bluff were 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Horace Perkins and Rev. Jacque Sojourner officiating. Burial followed in Williams cemetery in White Bluff.

Mrs. Reed was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of Harry and Elsie Rogers Sears. She was a retired computer systems analyst, a member of the White Bluff United Methodist Church and the White Bluff Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Carson Reed and wife, Shawn of White Bluff; a daughter, Karen Reed Robie and husband, David of Madison, Ala.; her mother, Elsie Sears Hornal of Dickson; half-brother, John Sears of Texas; half-sister, Katy Clepper of Napierville, Ill; and two grandchildren, Michael Robie and Jenna Robie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Bernard Reed and her father.

Memorials can be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center or to the American Lung Association.

Euble Leon Rose

Funeral services for Mr. Euble Leon “Buck” Rose, 63, are 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie Harris officiating. Interment icon follows in Bon Aqua United Methodist Church cemetery.

Mr. Rose, retired owner and operator of Duffy’s Bar in Cleveland, Ohio, died Monday, March 7, 2005 at his home in Bon Aqua. He was born in Giles County to Jesse and Flora Hickman Rose.

Survivors include his wife, Betty McMillen Rose of Bon Aqua; son, Raymond “Bud” Adams of Bon Aqua; three daughters, Tina Doyle of Bon Aqua, Gigi Bates and her husband, Terry of Bon Aqua and Lynn Miller and her husband, Zach of Linden; two brothers, Wheeler Rose of Pulaski and Grady Rose of Duck, W. Va.; six sisters, Mary Ruth Johnson, Edith Yates, Corene Casteel, Mable Owens and her husband, Larry and Iva Mae Rose, all of Pulaski and Jewel Watson and her husband, Leon of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several nieces and nephews.

Tom Thompson Sugg

Funeral services for Mr. Tom Thompson Sugg, 100, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Rountree officiating. Burial will follow in Union cemetery in Dickson.

Mr. Sugg died Monday, March 7, 2005 at Dickson Healthcare Center. He was born in McEwen to Dr. W.J. Sugg Sr. and Lillie Norris Sugg. He was a 1923 graduate of Dickson High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in education from Vanderbilt University and master’s degree from Peabody College. He also attended the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was retired from the Dickson County school system, where he served as a superintendent, supervisor of secondary education and principal.

Survivors include his son, Tommy Sugg of Dickson; sister, Anne Sugg Rountree of Dickson; granddaughter, Tammie Wright of Cookeville; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Wright and Spencer Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Tucker Sugg.

Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Hailey Davidson

Funeral services for Hailey Christine Davidson, 5, are 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 from the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville. Entombment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Miss Davidson passed away on Monday, Feb. 28, 2005.

Survivors include her parents, Brent Davidson of Franklin and Christy Huff and her husband, Paul of Burns; grandparents, Don and Jan Simmons, Connie and Greg Dailey, Don and Patsy McKinney and Dan and Dianna Davidson; aunt, Kathrina Holems; uncle, Justin Davidson and his wife, Lindsay; and cousin, Lily Davidson.

Randall Douglas Richards

Funeral services for Randall Douglas Richards, 37, are 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Moore officiating.

Mr. Richards of Chattanooga died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.

Survivors include his wife, Connie R. Richards of Chattanooga; father, Willard Douglas Richards of Charlotte; mother, Sarah Richards Martin of Bon Aqua; sons, Randall Douglas (Dunior) Richards Jr. of Fairview and Ren Alexander (Alex) Richards of Palm Springs, Calif.; daughter, Raven Mercedes Richards of Charlotte; stepdaughters, Elisha Fielding of Boston, Mass., Julia Fielding of Chattanooga and Allison Fielding of Nashville; brother, Timothy Richards of Bon Aqua; sisters, Paula Kay Varden and her husband, Terry of Kingston Springs, Lorie Lynn Stinson and her husband, Billy of Bon Aqua and Tammy Michele Latham and her husband, Brian of Bellevue.
