Funeral services for Mr. Possum Williams, 58, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the White Bluff chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Carlton Hall officiating. Interment
followed in Nosegay cemetery.
Mr. Williams of White Bluff died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at Bowling Green Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Dickson County and was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include his sons, Eddie Williams Jr. of White Bluff and Chris Hargrove Williams of White Bluff; daughter, Connie Dorton and her husband, Darrell of White Bluff; sisters, Betty Jo Williams of White Bluff, Nancy Littleton of Lyles, Jean Finch of Kingston Springs and Diane Gentry of White Bluff; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rastus and Betty Williams; and grandson, Jesse Wayne Williams.
Margaret Daniel Stewart Williamson
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Daniel Stewart Williamson, 81, affectionately known as “Granny Sugar,” are 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Walnut Street Church of Christ in Dickson with Bro. Clarence DeLoach and Bro. Steve Baggett officiating. Interment
will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Services under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williamson died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005 at her home. She was the former president and current vice president of Stewart Lumber Company Inc. of Dickson and Brentwood. She was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Bill Stewart of Nashville; daughters, Serena Stewart Petty and her husband, Curtis of Charlotte and Melissa Stewart Curcio and her husband, Joe of Dickson; brother, Lt. Col. Malcolm Glenn Hicks and his wife, Barbara of Dickson; stepdaughter, Euna Williamson Younger and her husband, Steve of Williamson, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren, Chuck Glass, Greg Glass, Tim Glass, Margaret Glass, Danna Nicholson, Katie Jones, Anthony Curcio, Stewart Curcio, Michael Curcio, Kristianna Stewart Shuler, Brent Stewart and Emily Stewart West; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, William (Billy) T. Stewart and Charles Cullum (Tick) Williamson; and parents, Daniel Corinne Hicks and Katherine Fussell Hicks Downey.

Mrs. Cook of Cumberland Furnace died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005 at her home.
Survivors include daughters, Mary C. West of Cumberland Furnace, Ann W. Brown of Taveres, Fla., and Elizabeth C. West of Inchelium, Wash.; son, William G. Cook III of Apopka, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Cook Jr.; and grandson Hense West Jr.

Mr. Denson of Montgomery, Ala., died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005.

Mrs. Hodges, a retired bookkeeper for Warner Iron Company and clerk for E.W. Daniel Insurance Company, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. She was a member of Walnut St. Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sister, Nellie D. Corlew of Hazel Green, Ala.; brother, Hugh H. Daniel of Dickson; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hodges; parents, William Robert and Lavenia Nesbitt Daniel; sister, Doris Talley; and brothers, E.W. Daniel, Nesbitt Daniel, Robert Daniel, Burl Daniel and LeRoy Daniel.

Mr. Franklin of Charlotte died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 at Veterans Hospital. He was born March 28, 1916 in Hickman County.

Mr. Simmons, a self-employed carpenter and musician, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

Simmons; daughters, Whitney Dale Buckelew and her husband, Jeremy of Dickson and Lori Kyla Simmons of Burns; sisters, Lisa Rhodes and her husband, Tim of Paris and Debbie Sweeney and her husband, David of Springville; brother, Sam Simmons of Paris; grandchildren, Amber Simmons, Austin Barnes, Gavin Cade Veazey and Averi Simmons; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Nichols of Paris.

Mr. Allsbrooks of Dickson died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at National Health Care Center. He was a native of Houston County. He was a sawmill worker.
Survivors include his daughter, Nellie Ruth Seay of Erin; brothers, Thomas Allsbrooks of Vanleer, Bobby Allsbrooks of Sevierville and Jimmy Allsbrooks of Dickson; sisters, Pauline Huff of Dickson, Maggie Deason of Dickson, Frauline Heggie of Bon Aqua and Cindy Potts of Lyles; grandchildren, Joshua Seay and Jacob Seay; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harl Allsbrooks and Aggie Tanner Allsbrooks; granddaughter, Brandy Seay; and brother, J. Don Allsbrooks.
Lily “Pauline” Christenbury

Mrs. Christenbury died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005 after several years of declining health. She was born in Iredell County, N.C., on July 15, 1915, the last of four children to John Mayhew and Ada Bell Fisher Stillwell.
She grew up in Iredell County and on July 3, 1951 she married
the love of her life, Herbert Irvin Christenbury, who preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1992. She retired from Leaksville Woolen Mills after 34 years of service. She was a member of Hunter Acres Baptist Church in Charlotte.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Shaver of Concord, N.C., Flake Mundy (Ann) and Barbara Johns of Charlotte, N.C., Alma Hedrick (Ken) of Charlotte, Francis Stamey (Bill) of Harrisburg, N.C., and Linda Potts (James) of New London, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two of her children, Alvin Lee Christenbury and Mary Frances Long.

Mrs. Gillette of Fairview died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 at her home. She was born June 5, 1920 in Williamson County. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairview.

Mr. Hughes, a native of Dickson County and a concrete finisher for Jones Concrete, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Hughes of Dickson; sons, James Forbes of Florida and Avery Scott of Dickson; daughter, Tiffaney Scott Cole of Norfolk, Va.; brother, David Darden of Charlotte; sisters, Mickey Turner and Carolyn Vaughn, both of Dickson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Lou List Hughes.
