BILLY "ROBB" JOHN ROBERTS, JR.

HUNTINGDON: Billy "Robb" John Roberts Jr., 45, died Friday, September 19, at his home. Funeral services were Sunday, September 21, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with burial in Twin Oaks cemetery .
Mr. Roberts was born March 25, 1963 in Lakeworth , Florida . He was a logger for Max Hall Logging Company and was preceded in death by his father, Billy John Roberts, Sr.
Survivors include: his wife of nine years, Jeannie "Kathy" (Hollingshead) Roberts; his mother, Peggy Rose of Huntingdon; three children, Brittany Brown, Brooke Roberts, and Tristan Roberts; three sisters, Lisa Paul of Huntingdon, Denise Tooley of Barboursville, West Virginia, and Amy Gately of Jackson; two brothers, Mark Roberts of Paris and Guy Roberts of Huntingdon; and one half-brother, Keith Roberts of Florida.

KEITH ALLEN DOEDE
1956-2008
HENRY: Keith Allen Doede, 51, died Sunday, September 21, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 23, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Larry Reagan and Bro. Jimmy Ricketts officiating. Burial followed in Liberty cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Doede was born November 9, 1956 in Trenton, Michigan. He was a truck driver for Conway Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by one son, Donnie Doede.
Survivors include: his wife, Kimberly Doede of Henry; his parents, Donald Doede of Milton, West Virginia and Ruth Kemp of McKenzie; three sons, Jamie (Amber) Doede of Knoxville, Kevin Doede of Paris, and Brandon (Amanda) Lamb of Gleason; one daughter, Melesa (Joshua) Lassiter of Dresden; one brother, Michael (Paula) Doede of Gleason; four sisters, Patricia Vonseggern of Lexington, Donna (David) Belew of Trezevant, Karen (Ricky) Blankenship of McKenzie and Debbie (James) Higdon of Bruceton; four grandchildren, Josh, Ailee and Emma Doede and Bradley Lamb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

MARY LOU MITCHELL
1925-2009
MCKENZIE: Mary Lou Mitchell, 84, died Sunday, March 1, at Weakley County Nursing Home. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 4, at 3 p.m. at Meridian Presbyterian Church with Rev. Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in Meridian cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was born January 25, 1925 in Greenfield to the late Hubert and Bertha Galloway Dunlap. She was retired from W.S. Wormser and was a member of Meridian Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis A. Mitchell.
Survivors include: one daughter, Jane Hopper of McKenzie; one sister, Jane Blaylock of McKenzie; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Gallimore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

CHARLES RAY MARTIN
1952-2009
DRESDEN: Charles Ray Martin, 56, died Saturday, February 28. Funeral services were Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at Gallimore Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Price officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell cemetery.
Mr. Martin, disabled, was born July 7, 1952 in Ridgely.
Survivors include: his parents, Charlie Russell and Allie Thomas Martin; and one sister, Dola Mae O'Daniel of Gleason.

DOLLY FRANCES UMSTEAD
1932-2009
MCKENZIE: Dolly Frances Umstead, 75, died Wednesday, March 4, in McKenzie. Funeral services were Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with burial in Concord cemetery, McKenzie.
Mrs. Umstead was born December 28, 1932 to the late James A and Mary Isabelle Clement Coleman. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Lee "Tex" "Bud" Umstead.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Kay Umstead Mitchell of McKenzie; one son, Earnest (Tina) Umstead, II of McKenzie; one sister, Lorene Whitmore of Bruceton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until service time.

KATHEE LYNN GRAHAM
1954-2009
BRUCETON: Kathee Lynn Graham, 54, died Monday, March 2, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Funeral services were Thursday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. Noel Edwards officiating. Burial followed in Flatwoods cemetery.
Mrs. Graham was born April 17, 1954 in Santa Ana, California. She was a housewife and member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lee Oxford; her father, James Holdridge; and two sisters, Stacey Renee Howe and Robbin Weaver.
Survivors include: her husband, Kenneth Graham of Bruceton; her mother, Donna Witt Glover of Camden; and one brother, Larry Parker.

BENDELL BIRDWELL
1920-2009
YUMA: Bendell Clinton Birdwell, 88, died Friday, March 6. Funeral services were Sunday, March 8, at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in New Hope cemetery.
Mr. Birdwell was born March 23, 1920 in Senath, Missouri. He attended Bethel College in McKenzie, was a retired cotton ginner, farmer, and a World War II Army veteran serving the Pacific Theater for four years. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Eastern Star, served 46 years as a county commissioner and was a member of Yuma Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Virginia Cole Birdwell; one son, Ben (Lucy) Birdwell of Houston, Texas; and several cousins.

JUDY MCLEAN
1957-2009
WESTPORT: Judy McLean, 51, died Saturday, March 7, at her home. Funeral services were Monday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Boyd and Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Burial followed in Jamison cemetery.
Mrs. McLean was born October 6, 1957 in Huntingdon. She was employed as a factory worker for MIG, Inc. and was a member of Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Simpson.
Survivors include; her husband of 32 years, Lathan McLean; her mother, Minnie Jane Simpson of Huntingdon; one daughter, Stacy (Jonathan) Wilson of Jackson; two sons, Stephen (Amanda) McLean of Lexington and Jeremy McLean of Westport; one sister, Janice Moody of Lexington; and three grandchildren.

PETER GEORGE BOLESTA
1946 - 2009
MCKENZIE: Peter George Bolesta, 62, died Friday, March 6, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home. The body was cremated.
Mr. Bolesta, a retired computer engineer, was born on November 6, 1946 in Rothenburg, Germany to Stefan and Elizabeth Bolesta.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; and one daughter, Brook.

BILLY JOE MCKENZIE
1931-2009
HENRY: Billy Joe McKenzie, 77, died Friday, March 6, in Henry. Funeral services were Monday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie.
Mr. McKenzie was born October 22, 1931 to the late Lon McKenzie, Sr. and Janie Whitehead Lloyd. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Bubbie Lee McKenzie and Lon McKenzie, Jr.; and one sister, Betty Bonner.
Survivors include: two nieces, Paula Cambrien of Arizona and Darlene McCartney of Anaheim, California; two nephews, Lonnie McKenzie of Memphis and Darrell McKenzie of Como, Mississippi; special friend and caretaker, Pat Baker; and special friends, Terry and Brenda Townes.

BILLY JOE ROBINSON
1936-2009
MCKENZIE: Billy Joe Robinson, 72, died Wednesday, March 4, in McKenzie. Graveside services were Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Robinson was born December 2, 1936 to the late Lee and Beatrice Judy Robinson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Poindexter Robinson.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lawanda McKinney of Dyer and Teresa McFadden of McKenzie; one brother, Jerry Robinson of Dyer; five grandchildren, Jeremy Hargrove, Anthony (Jessica) Hargrove, Brian (Robin) McKinney, Brandon (Katie) McFadden and Wendi McFadden; and five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Chloe, Akyra and Cayden.

MABEL PEARL HAMPTON SWAFFORD
1924-2009
MCKENZIE: Mabel Pearl Hampton Swafford, 84, died Thursday, March 5, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, March 7, at 11 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Morris officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood cemetery in Milan.
Mrs. Swafford was born October 14, 1924 in Wayne County to the late William Thomas Hampton and Martha Louisa Elizabeth Copous. She was a retired employee of W.S.W. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cawthan Swafford; and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include: one son, Terry Swafford of Huntingdon; three daughters: Patricia (Billy) Watkins of McKenzie, Martha (Frank) Romero of Carpentersville, Illinois, and Jackie (Gary) Phifer of Milan; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

BILL FINCH, SR.
1932-2009
STERLING, COLORADO: Bill Finch, Sr., 76, died Friday, February 27, at Sterling Regional MedCenter. Memorial services were Tuesday, March 3, at 3 p.m. at Tennant Funeral Home with burial at Riverside cemetery.
Mr. Finch was born June 16, 1932 in Miston to the late Raymond Finch and Virgie Finch Presgrove. He was retired Sterling Chief of Police and former Sterling councilman and mayor. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Ray Finch.
Survivors include: his wife, Martha Finch of Sterling; one daughter, Deborah Finch of Sterling; one son, Bill (Judy Allison) Finch of Lakewood; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Finch of Henry and Bobbi Rogers of Braidwood, Illinois; three sisters, Robbie (John) Lanier of Humboldt, Glenda (Wayne) Allen of South Haven, Mississippi, and Brynda (Mark) Touponce, of Memphis; and one granddaughter.
