CAROL P. BENNETT
HUNTINGDON: Carol P. Bennett, 64, died Saturday, January 10, at Jackson Madison General Hospital. Memorial services were Monday, January 12, at 11 a.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Virgil Presley officiating.
Mrs. Bennett was born December 6, 1944 in Atwood to the late William Afred Presley and Hassie Mae (Milam) Presley. She was a retired employee of Carroll Bank and Trust.
Survivors include: her husband, Jerry Bennett; one son, Jonathan Bennett of Bradford; two sisters, Jane Smith of Jackson and Pauline DePriest of McKenzie; one brother, John W. Presley of Jackson; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

MARY JANE STARKENBERG
1947-2009
HUNTINGDON: Mary Jane Starkenberg, 61, died Monday, January 5, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were Thursday, January 8, at 1 p.m. at Huntingdon First Baptist Church with Bro. Fred Ward officiating. Burial followed in New Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Starkenberg was born August 19, 1947 in Arkansas to the late William Strickland and Della Mae Reeves Strickland. She was a member of Huntingdon First Baptist Church and a self-employed caretaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Starkenberg.
Survivors include: one daughter, Peggy Robinson of Huntingdon; one son, J.C. Starkenberg of Fort Worth, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

KATHLEEN MARY VANHOVE
1957-2009
YUMA: Kathleen Mary VanHove, 51, died Friday, January 9, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Ms. VanHove was born August 14, 1957 in Wayne County, Michigan. She was a self-employed truck driver and was preceded in death by her father, Chester Sulewski.
Survivors include: her best friend and companion, Jeffrey VanHove; two sons, Daniel Scott VanHove of Yuma and Allan VanHove of Wixom, Michigan; one daughter, Jody Bergman of Michigan; her mother, Donna Custance of Fort Valley, Georgia; one sister, Donna M. Davis of Utica, Michigan; three brothers, Chester Sulewski of Michiagan, Stewart Sulewski and Joseph Sulewski, both of Fort Valley, Georgia; and two grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ELZIE NADINE CLEMENT
1938-2009
HUNTINGDON: Elzie Nadine Clement, 70, died Tuesday, January 6, at her daughter's home after a long battle with cancer. Memorial services are Saturday, January 17, at 1 p.m. at Faith in Christ Ministries Church in Huntingdon.
Mrs. Clement was born February 1, 1938 in Dyersburg to the late Lonnie Austin Bennett and Jewell Dee King Bennett. She was a homemaker, an employee of ITT and a member of the Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clement.
Survivors include: one daughter, Donna (Robert) Dilday of McKenzie; one sister, Dorothy Boyer of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ADELL MANSFIELD
1911-2009
DRESDEN: Adell Mansfield, 97, died Wednesday, January 7, at Weakley County Nursing Home. Funeral services were Saturday, January 10, at 1 p.m. at Gallimore Funeral Home with Elder Ed Long officiating. Burial followed in Matheny Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Mansfield was born August 19, 1911 in Latham to the late John Henry and Bertha Cummings Ross. She was a retired nursing home administrator. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Beck Mansfield; and two sons, John Ross Mansfield and Billy Mansfield.
Survivors include: two sons, Joe (Clareda) Mansfield of McKenzie and Bobby (Patsy) Mansfield of Dresden; three sisters, Sherry (Paul) Ross of Greenfield, Judy (Tom) Cody of Huntsville, Alabama and Jerry Faye Sandvig of Ft. Myers, Florida; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

LARRY CHARLES GALLIMORE
1945-2009
MEMPHIS: Larry Charles Gallimore, 63, formerly of McKenzie, died Tuesday, January 6, in Memphis. Gravesides services are Saturday, January 17, at 2 p.m. at Everett's Chapel cemetery near McKenzie.
Mr. Gallimore, a retired house painter, was born August 13, 1945 in McKenzie to the late L.C. and Louise Laster Gallimore. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Blondell Summers.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kim Arnold of Camden; and one sister, Montcell Matlock of McKenzie.
Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements.

NEDIA LEE ALLEN
1932-2009
BRUCETON: Nedia Lee Allen, 76, died Sunday, January 11, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services are Wednesday, January 14, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Trey Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born August 22, 1932 in Camden to the late Marvin Mitchell and Flora (Lowery) Mitchell. She was a retired secretary for the UT Bowle Hospital and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Allen; one son, Jeffery Allen; and one sister, Ruby Hientz.
Survivors include: one son, Jesse (Carol) Allen of Greenbrier; four sisters, Rita Williams and Flo (Walter) Hargrove, both of Buena Vista, Gladys Ann Clark of Camden, and Kathy Blatzer of New Johnsonville; one brother, Oneal "Buck" Mitchell of Buena Vista; and two grandchildren, Emily and Heather.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday after 4 p.m.

LAURA LESHAY "SHAY" CAMPBELL
1993-2009
HUNTINGDON: Laura LeShay "Shay" Campbell, 15, died Sunday, January 11, at her home. Funeral services are Wednesday, January 14, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Sister Billie Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Campbell was born February 24, 1993 in Jackson. She was a student at Huntingdon High School. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Campbell; and maternal grandmother, Retha "Meme" Boyd.
Survivors include: her father, Allen Campbell of Lavinia; mother, Lacey (Bobby) Roberts; maternal grandfather, Billy Joe (Rita) Umstead of Westport; paternal grandmother, Dana (Ben) Long of Atwood; and one brother, Cody Campbell of Lavinia.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday after 5 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

MARY E. HARRIS
1921-2009
MEMPHIS: Mary E. Harris, 87, died Sunday, January 4, at her home. Funeral services were Wednesday, January 7, at Macon Road Church of Christ with entombment at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Harris was an active member of Macon Road Church of Christ and was retired from Glankler-Brown Law Firm, Memphis, after 49 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellie J. "Happy" Harris; two brothers, Deward W. Shankle and Hoot Carnell Shankle; and two sisters, Lodean Phillips and Rosie Stephens.
Survivors include: one son, Danny (Pat) Harris of Memphis; one sister, Sarah Nell Kee of McKenzie; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

JOHN DAVID "FROG" WALLACE, SR.
1967-2006
MCKENZIE - John David "Frog" Wallace, Sr., 38, of McKenzie died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial followed in New Bethel cemetery in Henry.
He was born July 30, 1967 in Carroll County. He was preceded in death by: father Charles Ray Wallace, Sr.; brothers Charles Ray Wallace, Jr., Floyd Franklin Wallace, and Jerry Dean Wallace; and sister Carol Jean Wallace.
Survivors include: fiancee' Crystal Whaley of McKenzie; mother Sarah Ann Crews Wallace of McKenzie; daughters Christina Ryan Wallace of McKenzie and Sarah Elizabeth Wallace and Robin Vada Wallace, both of Murfreesboro; son John David Wallace, Jr. of Murfreesboro; uncle James Albert Wallace of McKenzie; brothers Gary Wallace and Bobby Wallace, both of McKenzie; and sisters Betty Ann Harper of Lavinia and Barbara Tatum of Gleason.

TONEY LAMAR GOBLE II
1984-2008
GADSDEN, ALABAMA: Specialist Toney Lamar Goble II, 24, formerly of McKenzie, died Friday, June 27. Burial was Thursday, July 17, in Arlington Memorial cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
Mr. Goble had recently spent a tour in Afghanistan and was presently stationed in Germany. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Pinson Goble of McKenzie; and his grandparents, Wade and Catherine Pinson of Hollow Rock.
Survivors include: his father, Toney Goble I; one sister, Latisha Goble Gibbs, formerly of McKenzie; one niece and nephew; and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

CAROLYN RUTH PRICHARD
1944-2008
MCLEMORESVILLE: Carolyn Ruth Prichard, 64, died Tuesday, July 15, at her home. Funeral services were Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Burial followed in McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Prichard, a homemaker, was born May 15, 1944 to the late Earnest David James and Bonnie Ward James.
Survivors include: her husband, Wayne Prichard of McLemoresville; two sons, Christopher Wayne Prichard of Lebanon and Franklin Ward Prichard of McLemoresville; two brothers, Ralph (Vera) James of Milan and Carl (Roberta) James of Huntingdon; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - Carroll South Relay for Life, c/o Karen Pierce, 353 Knox Street, Huntingdon, TN 38344.

EDWARD KNOX CRAWFORD
1964-2008
MCLEMORESVILLE: Edward Knox Crawford, 44, died Tuesday, July 15, at his home. Memorial services were Friday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at McLemoresville Methodist Church with Bro. Billy Morphis officiating.
Mr. Crawford was born January 14, 1964 in Memphis to the late Ed and Junette Kidwell Crawford. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Marise.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Crawford; one son, Steven Crawford of McLemoresville; one daughter, Tomeshia (Charles) Horne of Milan; three brothers, Hershel Marise, Gary Marise, and Randy Marise; and one sister, Pat (Charles) Smith.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
