MICHAEL WADE DUDLEY
ATWOOD - Michael Wade Dudley, 53, died Tuesday, March 3, at Milan General Hospital. Graveside services were Friday, March 6, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion cemetery near Medina with Larry Scarbrough officiating.
Mr. Dudley was born in Hamilton, Alabama to the late Jesse D. and Imogene Stoker Dudley. He was a truck driver for Pope Sand Company and Baptist in belief.
Survivors include: his wife, Wanda Scarbrough Dudley of Atwood; one son, Matt (Julie) Adams of Atwood; and two grandchildren.
Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

DONNA KAY HANCOCK
1957-2009
SYLVA, NORTH CAROLINA - Donna Kay Hancock, 51, died Friday, March 6, at her home. Funeral services were Tuesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in Liberty All cemetery.
Mrs. Hancock was born December 8, 1957 in Trezevant.
Survivors include: her husband, George Hancock of Sylva, North Carolina; one son, Timothy James Williams of Hollow Rock; one daughter, Cassie Marie Hancock of Sylva, North Carolina; her parents, James Willard Haywood of Millington and Helen Allen Haywood of Huntingdon; and one grandchild.

KATIE FRANCES GARRIGUS
1938-2008
PARIS - Katie Frances Garrigus, 70, formerly of Dresden, died Friday, September 12, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Graveside services were Sunday, September 14, at 10 a.m. at Sunset cemetery in Dresden with Dr. Gary S. Collier officiating.
Mrs. Garrigus was born April 14, 1938 in Carroll County to the late Robert Lee and Mary Ann Townsend Clifton. She was a professional seamstress and homemaker and a Baptist. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Warren Clifton "Bubber" Garrigus; two sisters, Mary Gertrude Clifton and Elizabeth Louise French; seven brothers, Phillip Eugene Clifton, Hubert Lee Clifton, W.G. Clifton, Odell Clifton, Lewis Wayne Clifton, J.T. Clifton and William "Bill" Clifton; and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include: her husband, Harvey Garrigus of Paris; three daughters, Sally LaRue Smith, Mary (Jerry) Jordan and Judy (Jeff) Davis, all of Paris; one son, Harvey (Kim) Garrigus, Jr. of Sedalia, Kentucky; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
McEvoy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

VALLA REE WYATT PARR
1924-2008
McKENZIE - Valla Ree Wyatt Parr, 83, died Monday, September 22, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services are Thursday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with Jim Roberts officiating.
Ms. Parr was born November 10, 1924 in Paris to the late Herbert Erbin Summers and Mary Helen McCord Summers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Wyatt; one son, David Wyatt; one brother, Charles Summers; and one grandchild, Derek Wyatt.
Survivors include: two sons, Nathan D. Wyatt and Clifford E. Wyatt, Jr., both of McKenzie; one sister, Thelma (James) Hall of McKenzie; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

BOBBY HILLIARD
HOLLOW ROCK - Bobby Hilliard, 73, died Monday, September 22, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services are Thursday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Hilliard officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect cemetery near Hollow Rock.
Mr. Hilliard was born in Westport to the late Hershel Gray Hilliard and Pearlie Ester Cary Hilliard. He was owner/manager of Bob's Used Autos in Hollow Rock. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Oberlen Johnson and Lillian Dillingham; and two brothers, Floyd Hilliard and James Granville Hilliard.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathy Dixon Hilliard of Hollow Rock; five daughters, Brenda Uhrick of Bruceton, Karen Miles of Huntingdon, Jasmine Hilliard of Hollow Rock, Chrystal Graham of Brunswick, Maine, and Katrina Gipson of Bandera, Texas; six sons, Bobby Ray Hilliard of Buena Vista, Bruce Hilliard and Cody Gipson, both of Bruceton, Ricky Hilliard of Memphis and Brian Hilliard and Jesse Gipson of Hollow Rock; three sisters, Bonnie Noles and Della Watson, both of Camden, and Sue Robertson of Springfield; three brothers, Rev. Billy Joe Hilliard of Buena Vista, Norman Hillard of Huntingdon and Terry Hilliard of Houston, Texas; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

ROBERT D. PRESSON
1958-2007
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Robert D Presson, 48, formerly of Nashville and McKenzie, died peacefully in his sleep, Tuesday, April 17, at Brierwood Home Community House in Seattle, WA. No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Presson was born November 14, 1958 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Maxie L. Akers Presson and Robert C. Presson of McKenzie. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, La Von Presson and Kenneth Wayne Presson.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty (Larry) Sexton of White House and Judy (David) Smith of Kingston Springs and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Bethel College Library or to the American Cancer Society.
Brummitt Funeral Home of McKenzie is in charge.

James Travis Bynum
1930-2004
ATWOOD - Services for James Travis Bynum, 73, were conducted on Sunday, August 1 at 3:00 p.m. at the Trezevant First Baptist Church with Bro. Malcolm Norton officiating. Interment icon followed in the Trezevant cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Bynum died Friday, July 30 at his home.
He was born November 22, 1930 in Carroll County to the late James Monroe and Thelma Jouett Travis Bynum. He was a retired air force master sergeant and Vietnam veteran; a member of the First Baptist Church of Trezevant and enjoyed being part of the church activities.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Mary Helms Bynum; three sisters, Martha Trull of McKenzie, Edna Arnold of Leslie, Michigan and Betty Leaver of Jacks Creek; and one half-sister, Vaden Wade of Gleason.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Judith Ann Smartt Keen
1945-2004
HALLS: Services for Judith Ann Smartt Keen, 59, were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22 at Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was session Clerk. Internment followed in the Halls cemetery.
Mrs. Keen was a 1963 graduate of McKenzie High School and a retired teacher, who taught at both Ripley High School and Halls Junior High School. She died on Tuesday, July 20 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
She was the daughter of the late Hinckley and Vista Smartt. Her father was a former professor at Bethel College. She was treasurer of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Freeman Keen; a daughter, Shelly Kimble and a son, Randy Keen, both of Ripley; a sister, Fran Addicott of Collierville and two grandchildren.
The family requests any memorials be sent to Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Halls. Halls Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Sion Edward Pritchard
HUNTINGDON - Sion Edward Pritchard died on Sunday, August 1. Services, with arrangements incomplete at press time, will be conducted by Dilday Funeral Home.

HILDA MAE CRAIG
1920-2008
BRUCETON - Hilda Mae Craig, 87, died Wednesday, April 9, at her home. Funeral services were Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Greer officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Mrs. Craig, a retired seamstress for H.I.S., was born August 16, 1920 in Benton County to the late George Thurman and Ada Sparks Bain. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Craig; two sons, Bobby Craig and Weldon Bain; and three sisters: Lovie Perry, Camilla Presson, and Mozell Wilham.
Survivors include: one daughter, Thelma Jean Massey of Bruceton; two sons, Billy Wayne (Martha) Craig of McKenzie and Ted (Belinda) Craig of Hollow Rock; two sisters, Juanita Sparks of Paris and Ovell Hall of Florida; 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

CLAYBORN RAY ARNOLD
BRUCETON - Clayborn Ray Arnold, 66, died Monday, June 2, at his home. Funeral services were Thursday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Reeds Chapel in Lexington with Bro. Phillip Halters and Bro. Loyce Fuller officiating. Burial followed in Bible Grove cemetery.
Mr. Arnold was a retired truck driver and a member of Bible Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Arnold; one daughter, Susan (Barry) Harrell of Milan; one son, Kenny (Angela) Arnold of Lexington; six grandchildren, one step-grandchild; six great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

CHRISTOPHER DAVID VAUGHN
1978-2008
HUNTINGDON - Christopher David Vaughn, 29, died Tuesday, June 3, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Friday, June 6, at 2 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Trent Sellers officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Comfort cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn was born September 13, 1978 in Carroll County. He was an employee of Royston.
Survivors include: his parents, Richard David (Brenda) Vaughn of Lexington and Caroline (Tim) Brotherton Baker of Huntingdon; one son, Drake Alexander Vaughn, of Huntingdon; two sisters, Brittany Vaughn of Jackson and Anna Vaughn of Lexington; one brother, Clint Vaughn of Huntingdon; and paternal grandmother, Minnie Vaughn of Huntingdon.

NEVA LEE SUTTON
1917-2008
HUNTINGDON - Neva Lee Sutton, 90, of the Terry Community died Tuesday, June 3, at her home. Funeral services were Thursday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Trent Sellers and Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Burial followed in Carter's Chapel cemetery .
Mrs. Sutton was born August 19, 1917 in Carroll County to the late George Fletcher and Eula Mae (Lifsey) Fletcher. She was a homemaker and a member of Obion Chapel Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tye Sutton; one son, Odie Sutton; one daughter, Geraldine Breeden; and three sisters.
Survivors include: three daughters, Phyllis Jarrett and Loretta (Brent) Smith, both of Huntingdon, and Brooxie (Bobby) Kirk of Cedar Grove; two sisters, Willodean Kelly of Chattanooga and Beatrice Bullington of Cedar Grove; one brother, Woodall Fletcher of Huntingdon; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Carter's Chapel cemetery Fund.

BEATRICE ILEAN DOSS
1947-2008
HUNTINGDON - Beatrice Ilean Doss, 61, died Monday, June 2, at her home. Graveside services were Friday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at New Hope cemetery with Bro. Rodney Hardin officiating.
Mrs. Doss was born March 14, 1947 in Soux St. Marie, Michigan to the late Burdy Royce and Polly Gertrude (Jones) Royce. She was a homemaker and Baptist by belief.
Survivors include: her husband, David Doss; one daughter, Penny (Jimmy) Maxwell of Huntingdon; six sons, Jimmy Doss, Bobby (Sherry) Doss, Paul (Denise) Doss, all of Huntingdon, Curtis (Lori) Doss of Lexington, Roger (DeAngela) Doss of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Danny Doss of Auburndale, Florida; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
