Ronald David Seavers

McKENZIE - Ronald David Seavers, 41, died Monday, December 5. Services will be Thursday, December 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Avenue Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Oakes, Bro. Phillip Halter, and Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Interment icon will be in Everett's Chapel cemetery.
Mr. Seavers was born December 10, 1964, in Paris, to Wayne and Carolyn Seavers. He was an ACE certified mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Angel Perkins Seavers; two sons, Kyle D. Seavers and Dereck C. Seavers; one sister, Terri Norvall of Bruceton; and one grandchild.

Roy Douglas Wilson
1923-2005
HUNTINGDON - Roy Douglas Wilson, 82, died Thursday, December 1, at Regional Hospital in Jackson. Services were conducted December 4, in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lloyd Ray Rich officiating. Burial followed in the Christian Chapel cemetery with full military honors and the honor guard serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Wilson was born September 10, 1923, in Carroll County, to the late Henry Wilson and Clara Bell (Weatherly) Wilson. He was retired from General Motors Company and was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Allie Mae (Dill) Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Reeder) Wilson; one stepdaughter, Brooxie Healey of Cahokia, Illinois; two stepsons, Ricky Mann of Stonebridge, Georgia, and Dale Mann of Huntingdon; six step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Mary Margaret Smith Dill
1917-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Mary Margaret Smith Dill will be conducted on Wednesday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Merwin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Dill, a housewife, died Monday, October 7 at her home. She was a lifelong member of the USA Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to the Golden Ages.
She is survived by a sister, Nova Lynn Smertz of Memphis; four sons, William K. Dill and Ben F. Dill of McKenzie, Sam L. Dill of Indianapolis, Indiana and Dan J. Dill of Memphis; a daughter, Barbara Shiney of McKenzie; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Clyde Dill; two brothers, Jack Smith and Ardeth Smith and a sister, Ellen Dunn.
She was born June 28, 1917 to the late Robert "Ollie" Smith and Carrie Brawner Smith.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. October 7 at Brummitt Funeral Home.

Myrla Summers Bell
1908-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Myrla Summers Bell, 95, were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Clayton Owen and Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial was in the Hopewell cemetery in Gleason.
Mrs. Bell died on Wednesday, January 21 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McKenzie and the McKenzie Garden Club.
She was born June 17, 1908 in Dresden to the late Samuel D. and Mattie Leona Phelps Summers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. 'Doc' Bell; two brothers, Jessie Vernon Summers and Leon Summers and a sister, Edwina Barrix.
Mrs. Bell is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gladys Nell Robertson
1943-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Gladys Nell Robertson, 60, were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 21 at McKenzie Funeral Home with the Revs. Keith Pence and Earlie Lassater officiating. Burial was in Blooming Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson, retired HIS employee and a homemaker, died Saturday, June 19 at her residence.
She was born October 15, 1943 in Parkers Crossroads to the late Mattie Reed Baumgardner and Lewis Baumgardner. She was a member of Blooming Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband Robert Larry Robertson; two daughters, Tonya Collins of McKenzie and Nicole Mingle of Gleason; a son Aaron Robertson of Paris; a sister, Clara Hollowell of Wildersville and three grandchildren.

Eddie Lee Reed
1905-2005
GLEASON - Services for Eddie Lee Reed, 99, were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Morris and Rev. Bob Copeland officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mrs. Reed, a retired house parent for a boys' home in Illinois, died on Saturday, February 5, at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden. She was a member of the Beech Springs Baptist Church.
She was born July 7, 1905, to the late Edd and Sue Berryhill Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Reed.
There are no immediate survivors.

Sally E. Bynum
1904-2005
SHARON - Services for Sally E. Bynum, 100, formerly of Gleason, were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 10, at the Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Pinnell, Rev. Mike Walker and Rev. Toy Brindley officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mrs. Bynum, a homemaker, died on Monday, February 7, at her home. She was a member of the Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was born March 27, 1904, to the late George and Susie Whiterington Poynter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bynum.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard Bynum, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama, and Ronald Bynum of Gurley, Alabama; one brother, Bill Boynter of Sharon; three sisters, Elsie Pate of Chicago, Illinois, Louise Prozgoda of Sharon and Winnie Sims of Sharon; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Ludie Mae Sharp
1916-2005
BRUCETON - Services for Ludie Mae Sharp, 88, were held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, at 7:00 p.m., with the Rev. James S. Daniel officiating. Interment icon was in the East Forrest Hills cemetery in Memphis.
Mrs. Sharp, a housewife, died on Wednesday, February 10, at Humboldt General Hospital.
She was born September 3, 1916, in Madison County, to the late William Abner Webb and Ludie Mae Hardin. She was a member of the Bruceton Baptist Church. Her husband, John Edward Sharp, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Kirkdoffer of Millington and Brenda Faye Murray of Henning; one son, James Robert "Bobby" Sharp, Sr., of Medina; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy V. Gallimore
1920-2005
HAMMOND, INDIANA - Services for Dorothy V. Gallimore, 84, were at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, at Brummitt Funeral Home, with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment icon followed in Chapel Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Gallimore died on Monday, February 8, at Regency Place in Dyer, Indiana. Her husband, Milton Davis Gallimore, preceded her in death.
She was born March 25, 1920, to the late Clint Bunn and Sophie Harder Bunn. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Methodist Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Gallimore of Merrillville, Indiana; one sister, Oteria Ownby of McKenzie; one half-sister, Patty Sizemore of Seymour, Indiana; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Michael Lee Fuller
1968-2005
YUMA - Services for Michael Lee Fuller, 36, were held on Friday, February 11, at 3:00 p.m., at Reed's Chapel in Lexington with Charles Thomason officiating. Interment icon followed in Roan's Creek Church cemetery.
Mr. Fuller, disabled, died on Wednesday, February 9, at his home. He had been employed with Mark IV Automotive.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Fuller; his mother, Brenda Fuller of Yuma; one son, Dylan Michael Fuller of Yuma; and one sister, Lean Bridges of Sardis. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Fuller.

Olen Okie Hornsby
1941-2005
McKENZIE - Services for Olen Oakie Hornsby, 63, were on Tuesday, February 15, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar Avenue Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, with Rev. Dwayne Thomas and Jim Schuster officiating. Interment icon followed in Sellers Hill cemetery in Clarksburg.
Mr. Hornsby, a retired employee of MTD in Martin, died Saturday morning, February 12, at his residence in McKenzie. He was a native of Fireco, West Virginia, and was born on October 11, 1941, to the late Oakie Thomas Hornsby and Mary Elsie Gill Hornsby. Before living in the McKenzie area, he resided in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Ann Scott Hornsby; two daughters, Sheri Wiley of Martin and Lisa Weaver of McKenzie; two sons, Tim Hornsby of Dresden and Dennis Fisher of Florida; nine grandchildren; and 11 nephews.

Wesley Arnold Beal, Sr.
1926-2005
McKENZIE - Services for Wesley Arnold Beal, Sr., 78, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 13, at the Enon Baptist Church in McKenzie with the Revs. Lynn Stapleton, Richard Allen and Dennis Beal officiating. Interment icon followed in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Beal, a retired mechanic for the state of Tennessee, died Friday, February 11, at the McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was a native of Parkers Crossroads and was born February 19, 1926, to the late Albert Britten Beal and Mary Elizabeth Tubbs Beal. He was a deacon at Enon Baptist Church and a member of the Woodmen of the World. His wife, Johnnie Louise Bonds Beal, preceded him in death in 1998.
Survivors include his three children: a daughter, Karen Grayson of Charlestown, Indiana, and two sons, Wesley Beal, Jr. of Camden and Charlie Beal of McKenzie; three sisters, Jane Hargis of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Ineta Bevill of Henry and Gertrude Bishop of McKenzie; two brothers, Bro. Dennis Beal and Leon Beal, both of McKenzie; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
McKenzie Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
