CEDAR GROVE - Ruby Eva Shackelford, 95, died Saturday, February 9, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab. Funeral services were Monday, February 11, at 1 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Bernice Birdwell officiating. Burial followed in New Bethel cemetery.
Mrs. Shackelford was born July 12, 1912, to the late Joseph and Onie Graves Woodard. She attended Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Shackelford; two brothers, Vaughn Woodard and Elvis Woodard; and one sister, Zelma Rushing.
Survivors include: four sons, James (Elizabeth) Shackelford of Lexington, Harold (Emily) Shackelford of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Roy (Peggy) Shackelford of Oakfield, and Glynn (Kay) Shackelford of Bradford; one sister, Willie Douglas of Trezevant; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
ALMA RUTH CUNNINGHAM ADKISSON

HUNTINGDON - Alma Ruth Cunningham Adkisson, 73, died Monday, February 4. Funeral services were Saturday, February 9, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Trezevant with Rev. Chris Pipkin officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Adkisson was born April 6, 1934 in Trezevant to the late Willie L. Cunningham and Irene Dyer Cunningham. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Adkisson; and one brother, Willie I. Cunningham, Jr.; and one daughter.
Survivors include: three daughters, Elizabeth Strickland of Milan, Charlotte Hunt and Kollest Hunt, both of Chicago, Illinois; one son, Willie Thomas Adkisson of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one grandchild.
ANDREW JOHNSON

CEDAR GROVE - Andrew Johnson, 72, died Wednesday, February 6, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Shields officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born July 26, 1935 in Huntingdon to the late Henry L. Johnson and Corine (Hampton) Johnson. He retired from Columbus McKinnon after 20 years and was a member of the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include: his wife, Lealaiegh Johnson of Cedar Grove; four sons, Carl Johnson, Keith Johnson, Harold Johnson, all of Columbus, Ohio, and John L. (Delois) Johnson of Dresden; one stepson, James (Needis) Bailey of Cedar Grove; one stepdaughter, Lorrie Ann Johnson of Cedar Grove; six sisters, Maxine Davis, Lula Mae Brown, Eardie Ruth Craft, Vina (Elder L.C.) Dorsey all of Champaign, Illinois, Hester (Bill) Zellner of Columbus, Ohio and Sarah (James) Webb of Bruceton; seven grandchildren and one stepgrandson.
MAVIE CAROLYN WALKER

HUNTINGDON - Mavie Carolyn (Anderson) Walker, 98, died Sunday, February 10, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Graveside services were Tuesday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Chapel cemetery with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating.
Mrs. Walker was born August 1, 1909 in Big Sandy to the late Andy and Carrie (Hampton) Winters. She was a retired inspector for the Publix Shirt Corporation and a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Anderson; her second husband, Albert Walker; one daughter, Wilma Geraldine Anderson; one son, Wallace Everitt Anderson; two sisters, Lillian Winters and Jewell Mannon; and three brothers, Edward Winters, Harvey Winters, and Earlie Winters.
Survivors include: one daughter, Bobie Joe Anderson (Prentice G.) Kirk of Paris; one son, Jerry Clayton (Gloria) Anderson of Huntingdon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
ROYCE DALE WILKINSON

DYERSBURG: Royce Dale Wilkinson, 65, formerly of Paris, died Monday, April 28. Funeral services were Wednesday, April 30, at 3:30 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Wilkinson was born January 8, 1943 in Fulton, Kentucky. He was a former Plant Superintendent at Thomas Lighting in Dyersburg, member of First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg, former member of TN National Guard, Optimist Club in Paris and Civitan Club in Dyersburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Wilkinson.
Survivors include: one daughter, Teresa (Mack) Allen of McKenzie; one son, Terry (Mary Anne) Wilkinson of Paris; his mother, Agnes Workman Wilkinson of Fulton, Kentucky; one brother, Richard Wilkinson of Martin; two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

LAVINIA - James O. Porter, 74, died Saturday, April 27, at Alive Hospice at Saint Thomas in Nashville. Funeral services were Wednesday, April 30, at 1 p.m. at Little Grove Baptist Church in Lavinia with Bobby Dunlap officiating. Burial followed in Little Grove cemetery.
Mr. Porter was born May 30, 1933 in Carroll County to the late Raymond Porter and Hattie (Wallick) Porter. He served in the Army for six years, was a retired production worker for Milan Arsenal and a member of Little Grove Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary Devon Porter.
Survivors include: three sons, Kenneth W. Porter of Huntingdon, Bobby L. Porter of Lavinia, and James B. Porter of Atwood; two sisters, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

BRUCETON - Evelyn Marie Lyell Miller, 73, died Thursday, May 1, at her home. Funeral services were Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Bolton officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove cemetery in Mason, Michigan.
Mrs. Miller was born October 29, 1934 in Gibson County to the late Edgar Eugene Lyell and Ora Lee Richardson. She was Baptist in faith.
Survivors include: her husband, Eliott Dwain Miller of Bruceton; one daughter, Tina Marie Miller of Bruceton; four sons, Kenneth Wayne Miller of Sonoma, California, Michael Dwain Miller of Leslie, Michigan, Randall Lane Miller of Port Saint Luci, Florida, and Timothy Zane Miller of Tigard, Oregon; two sisters, Carolyn Ann Haskins and Bobbie Jean Shreve, both of Bruceton; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

YUMA - Stephen Lawrence Louchen, 60, died Saturday, April 19, at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Memorial services were Thursday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church With Father Fischer officiating.
Mr. Louchen was born May 3, 1947 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran, a Behavior Specialist for the Association for Retarded Citizens, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Florida, a member of the Knight's of Columbus, and a member of the American Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include: his wife of 39 years, Shirley Ann Louchen of Yuma; one daughter, Stephanie L. (Tony) of Yuma; one brother, John (Sherry) Engstrom of California; and four grandchildren.

HUNTINGDON - Luther Irvin Williams, 79, died Thursday, May 1, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Ward officiating. Burial followed in Sellers Hill cemetery.
Mr. Luther was born February 17, 1929 in Clarksburg to the late William Luther and Alice May Chester Williams. He was a retired employee of Swan Hose. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Larry Don Williams; and two brothers, James Gorden Williams and Bobby Gene Williams.
Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Williams; one son, Michael Gene Williams of Ringgold, Louisiana; two daughters, Linda Irene Cole and Dorothy Ann Blackburn, both of Huntingdon; one brother, Willie Franklin Williams of Paris; two sisters, Hattie Mae Rush of Huntingdon and Mattie La Bennett of Michigan; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

BRUCETON - Robert "Bob" Ozel Cole, Jr., 75, died Thursday, May 1, at his home.
Mr. Cole was born June 14, 1932 in Smyrna, Delaware, to the late Robert Ozel and Dorothy McNatt Cole, Sr. He was a retired truck driver. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Mary Sue O'Neal, Jenny Lee Hampton and Wanda Yasko; and two sisters, Alice Steele and Virginia Fretz.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Cole; children, Daniel Cole, Victoria Deller, both of Bruceton, Robert Cole, IV, Teresa Laws, Robert Cole, III, all of Dover, Delaware, Earl Cole, Bobbie Miller, both of Hartly, Delaware, Edward Cole, Daum Walls, both of Marydel, Delaware, Debbie Jean Cole, Bessy Williams, Robin Cole, Leonard Cole, Bonnie Cole, all of Smyrna, Delaware; one sister, Mona Cole of Blackston, Delaware; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

MEMPHIS - Nellie Bevill Hamilton, 77, died Sunday, March 2, at her home. Funeral services are Thursday, March 6, at 3 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Rev. Charles Timberlake and Rev. Tony Janner officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh cemetery.
Mrs. Hamilton was born February 2, 1931 in McKenzie to the late James Wayne Bevill and Lillian I. Anderson Bevill. She was a member of Liberty Memorial Baptist Church in Memphis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B.B. Hamilton, Sr.; and one sister, Katherine Bevill Thompson.
Survivors include: one stepson, B.B. Hamilton, Jr. and his family; one brother, Thomas (Evelyn) Bevill of Hammond, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Tom (Sharon) Bevill, Marty (Donna) Bevill, Mitchell Bevill, Debbie (Nick) Sanders, Carolyn (Tom) Patterson and their son, Taylor; one brother-in-law, James (Judy) Hamilton; and one sister-in-law, Betty Harper.

BRUCETON - Janice Jordan, 83, died Monday, February 25, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services were Thursday, February 28, at 11 a.m. at Bruceton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Prospect cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mrs. Jordan was born October 15, 1924 in Benton County to the late William Berlie Craig and Ida Corene Deaton Craig. She was a retired clerk for C.A. Jordan Hardware and a member of Bruceton First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymond C. Jordan of Bruceton; one son, Rev. Craig (Kay) Jordan of Memphis; one brother, Gaylon (Corean) Craig of Camden; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

HENRY SNEED

McKENZIE - Henry Sneed, 96, died Friday, February 22, at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie. Funeral services were Friday, February 29, at 1 p.m. at Johnson Temple CME Church in McKenzie with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Sneed was born August 29, 1911 in McKenzie. He worked in the construction field using his masonry skills. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, William Sneed; and four sisters, Kate Curls, Cecil Thomas, Cannonbell Sneed and Dancy Johnson.
Survivors include: one granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
