McKENZIE - Services for Marie Kathryn Britt, 46, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, at Brummitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Long Rock cemetery.
Mrs. Britt, a homemaker, died Saturday, March 12, at her residence.
She was born December 14, 1958, in Huntingdon. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include her mother, Helga Renzland Britt of McKenzie; three sons, Brian McDavid of Jackson, Larry Sanders of Murfreesboro and Michael Britt Carroll of McLemoresville; a daughter, Jennifer Wallace of McKenzie; three brothers, Leonard Ralph Britt and Bobby Gene Britt, both of McKenzie, and Jimmy Lynn Britt of Lebanon; a sister, Leni Sue Chick of Nashville; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Subber Britt.
Lorene Walters Azbill

Mrs. Azbill, a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company, died Thursday, March 10, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Azbill; a daughter, Teresa Key of Cedar Grove; two sisters, Lorene Young of Cedar Grove and Ethel Brooks of Medon; two brothers, Bedford Gateley and Richard Gateley, both of Cedar Grove; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Harold R. "B" Boyd

HUNTINGDON - Services for Harold R. "B" Boyd, 73, were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Fred Ward officiating. Interment
followed in Hampton cemetery.
Mr. Boyd died Tuesday, March 8, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was born December 22, 1931, to Alva Nickelous Boyd and Louise Cassinina Boyd. He was self employed as a construction worker and served in the Army National Guard.
Survivors include one son, Greg Boyd, and one sister, Virginia Boyd, both of Huntingdon; two grandchildren; and one step-grandchild. www.dilday.com
Elmer Randolph Ellis

HUNTINGDON - Services for Elmer Randolph Ellis, 80, were conducted on Sunday, March 13, at Twin Oaks Church of Christ with Brother Dave Morrison officiating. Interment
followed at Sellers Hill cemetery.
Mr. Ellis died Friday, March 11, at his home.
He was born February 21, 1925, to the late Giles Vick Ellis and Ethel Bond Ellis. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a retired farmer and member of the Twin Oaks Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilbern Ellis, Kelsey Ellis, Fay Ellis and Illa Dee Ellis, and two sisters, Sally King and Maydelle Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Virginia Holladay Ellis; two daughters, Alice Webb of Huntingdon and Leesa Barkley of Gibson; one son, Otis Ellis of Huntingdon; one brother, Robert Loyce Ellis; three sisters, Genelle Griggs of Tecumseh, Michigan and Odessa Downing and Mary Massengill, both of Dexter, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Hubert O. Foulks

ROSSER: Services for Hubert O. Foulks, 86, were conducted on Tuesday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Rufus Anderson officiating. Interment
followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Foulks died Saturday, March 12, at his home.
He was born May 12, 1918, in the Rosser Community to the late Jeff and Virgie Hampton Foulks. He retired from the L&N Railroad, farmed, was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (where he served as a deacon) and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Highland 269. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Ann Foulks; four brothers, Hulon Foulks, Jeff Foulks, Rufus Foulks and Roger Lee Foulks, and one sister, Veddie Foulks.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dimple Neely Foulks; three sons, Larry Ozell Foulks, Lawrence Wade Foulks and Timothy Foulks, all of the Rosser Community; two brothers, Oliver Foulks of Huntingdon and Joe Louis Foulks of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Coetter Porter and Lacquila Walker, both of Detroit, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Pearl Foulks of Huntingdon; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Lela Christine Jackson Gaines

NEW ALBANY, MISSISSIPPI - Services for Lela Christine Jackson Gaines, 83, were conducted at United Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kenny Adair officiating. Burial was in Glenfield Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gaines, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 8, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany.
She was born in Union County on January 14, 1922, to the late Coral Knox Jackson and Mary Alma Maddox Jackson. She was a member of Neely Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Ruth Brooks of Jackson, Connie Louise Shirley of New Albany, Mississippi, Virginia Baird of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Mary E. Knight of Modesto, California; two brothers, Doyle Damon Jackson of Booneville, Mississippi and Windham Jackson of McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Devoe Gaines, on February 15, 2000; two sisters, Maybelle Cooper and Willie Mae Pannell, and two brothers, Ramon Jackson and Clifford V. Jackson.
Joyce Lee Hill

TREZEVANT - Services for Joyce Lee Hill, 74, were conducted Tuesday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trezevant First Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Norton officiating. Burial followed in the Trezevant cemetery.
Mrs. Hill, widow of Edward Glynn Hill, a homemaker and retired from Henry I. Siegel Company, died Saturday afternoon, March 12, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was a Trezevant native and was born September 7, 1930, to the late Ebbie Leon Caraway and Ora Cochran Caraway. She was a member of the Trezevant First Baptist Church.
Survivors include cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died on February 10, 1988, and a son, Donald Glynn Hill, who died May 31, 1975.

Charles McKeever

HUNTINGDON - Services for Charles McKeever, 90, were held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Bro. Karlen Harris, Sr. officiating. Interment
followed in Greenwood cemetery Garden of Hope. Johnson's House of Aetna was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. McKeever died Thursday, March 10, in Huntingdon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnetta McKeever and one son, Clement M. McKeever.
Survivors include eight children: Charles W. McKeever of Houston, Texas; Alice Howard of Huntingdon; George McKeever, Sr., Helen Lewis, Mary Lewis and Samuel McKeever, all of Nashville; Madeline Moore of Detroit, Michigan; and Michael McKeever of Nashville; 27 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Lizzie Mae Harris Taylor

HUNTINGDON - Services for Lizzie Mae Harris Taylor, 71, were conducted on Saturday, March 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Parker's Chapel with burial following in the Parker's Chapel cemetery.
She died Tuesday, March 8, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1933. She was a former employee of H.I.S. in Bruceton.
Survivors include one son, Clarence Edward Harris of Huntingdon.

Velma Nolen

PARIS - Services for Velma Nolen, 82, were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with Alan Trull officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.
Mrs. Nolen, a retired factory worker, died Sunday, March 13, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
She was born June 15, 1922, in Lexington, to the late Charlie and Patra Bailey Beecham. She was the widow of Alvin Earl Nolen, who died May 13, 1994. Mrs. Nolen was a former employee of the Milan Arsenal during World War II. She worked 23 years at Salant & Salant in Paris and retired from Plumley Co. in 1988. She was a member of the Henry United Methodist Church.
Survivors include six daughters: Fay Lowery, Earlina Matheny and Gail Clayton, all of Henry, and Alice Spears, Melisha Nolen and Patricia Williams, all of Paris; four sons, Ray Nolen of Paris, Dale Nolen and Melvin "Nubbin" Nolen, both of Buchanan, and Earl Dean Nolen of Camden; four sisters, Mary Nolen and Sue Page, both of Henry, Fern Wilson of Paris and Maxine Bethune of Lexington; three brothers, Gary and Paul Beecham, both of Henry and Eugene Beecham of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Beecham, Velton Beecham and Dale Beecham, and two sisters, Gaytha McGrew and Katie Beecham.
George Daniel "Danny" Bradberry

McKENZIE - George Daniel "Danny" Bradberry, 52, of Gleason, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie.
Mr. Bradberry was disabled. He was born September 17, 1952, in Paris. Mr. Bradberry was preceded in death by his father, Norman Edward Bradberry, and a brother, Larry Bradberry.
Mr. Bradberry is survived by his wife, Sandra Dawn Waller Bradberry; a stepdaughter, Angela Dawn Scott of Dresden; his mother, Martha Sue Owen Bradberry of Gleason; a brother, Gary Bradberry of Alexandria, Virginia; and two sisters, Linda Gibbons of Pinson, Tennessee, and Shelia Keeling of Gleason.
Ivy Nell Crawford Williams
1915-2005
CLEVELAND - Ivy Nell Crawford Williams died March 14 in Cleveland. She was born October 11, 1915, to the late J.D. and Evy Crawford of Huntingdon. She was employed by McKenzie Banking Company for many years and was a member of the First Methodist Church of McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Williams, and two sisters, Helen Cligerow and Susan 'Suzie' Rowland.
Survivors include two sons, James O. (Carolyn) Williams of Cleveland and Joseph C. Williams (Azza El-Abd) of Washington D.C. and three grandchildren, James O. Williams Jr. of Nashville, Courtney R. Williams of Ashville, North Carolina, and Hussein M. Heshmat of Prescott, Arizona.
Visitation will be at the McKenzie Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, followed by a service in the chapel at noon. Interment
will follow in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Methodist Church of McKenzie or Bethel College.
