Clayton F. Jones

YUMA - Mr. Clayton F. Jones, 64, died on Thursday, January 8 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Jones was born November 28, 1939 in Parksburg, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Cecialia Jones. He was an employee of IMS for 33 years, a self-employed welder for 10 years and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Jones; a daughter, Jennifer Turner of Atglen, Pennsylvania; four sons, Cacey Jones of Yuma, Bruce Jones of Christiana, Pennsylvania, Craig Stevens of Longview, Texas and Daniel Stevens of Yuma; three sisters, Bertha Stetler an Katherine Jones, both of Coatesville, Pennsylvania and Helen Jones of Crestview, Florida; three brothers, Albert Jones of Florida, John Jones of Coatesville, Pennsylvania and Walter Jones of East Earl, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mattie Elizabeth Cole King
1924-2004
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Cole King, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 7 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Sellers officiating. Interment icon followed in Carter's Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. King was born April 24, 1924 in Carroll County to the late Randolph and Fannie May Sellers Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the Independence Full Gospel Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Cole, who died in September, 1985, her second husband, Breford King, who died in December 1994; two stepsons, Bobby King and Dwight King and three brothers, Arthur Williams, Ray Sellers and James Monroe Sellers.
Survivors include five sisters, Shelby Laws of Palatine, Illinois, Mildred Gregg, Dorothy Martin, Gertie Dunn and Nellie Myers and four brothers, Billy Sellers, Dean Sellers, Thomas Sellers and George Sellers, all of Huntingdon; three stepdaughters and one stepson.

Pauline Jordan McKinney
1919-2004
BRUCETON - Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Jordan McKinney, 84, were held on Friday, January 9 at the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Prospect cemetery in Hollow Rock.
She was born on December 17, 1919 in Buena Vista to the late Mr. James Pearlie and Mrs. Era Paralee Higdon Jordan. She died January 7 at her home. She was a retired seamstress for H.I.S. Inc. and a member of the Bruceton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Delmar Rowland on January 17, 1973 and her second husband, Howard McKinney on February 9, 1995 and one brother, Loy Jordan. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Judy Young of Mt. Juliet; one son, William Jerry Rowland of Bruceton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mildred Louise McCormick Mozena
Delray Beach, Florida - Mildred Louise McCormick Mozena, formerly of Huntingdon and Allen Park, Michigan, passed away on January 5 at Hospice of the Palm Beaches after a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late William Clyde and Mildred Aden McCormick. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Michael Chandler and a brother, Jack McCormick.
Funeral services were held in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 9 with burial in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mozena was a cosmetologist and taught hairdressing for many years. She retired in Delray Beach in 1989.
Survivors include her children, Michael Stephen Chandler of Dearborn, Michigan, Karen Jean Knauff of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Kimberly Rae Rezac of Fountain Valley, California, stepdaughter, Mary Jane Gramley of Westminster, California; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray McCormick of Huntingdon and one sister, Nancy Calcagno of Miami, Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, in honor of the Coral Team, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

Pauline Bush Berry
1913-2006
McKENZIE - Pauline Bush Berry, 92, died Thursday, March 2, at McKenzie Healthcare Center. Services were held Sunday, March 5, at Brummitt Funeral Home with Elder Ray Churchwell and Bro. Paul Conquest officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh cemetery.
Mrs. Berry was born July 30, 1913, in Carroll County, to Roy Bush and Omer Anderson Bush, both deceased. She was a retired cafeteria worker at McKenzie Elementary School and a member of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Berry; one brother, Arlen Bush; and three sisters: Lucille Hamlin, Ola B. Bush, and Verlie Webb.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann (Paul) Conquest of McKenzie; two grandchildren, Randall Conquest and Michelle (Shane) Sullivan; one great-grandchild, Lexie Sullivan; and one sister, Leona Dunlap of Atlanta, Georgia.

Paul Anthony "Tony" Burlison
1962-2006
McKENZIE - Paul Anthony "Tony" Burlison, 44, died Wednesday, March 1, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Services were held Saturday, March 4, at McKenzie Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Burial followed in Caledonia cemetery.
Mr. Burlison was born January 10, 1962, to the late Paul Everett Burlison and Ann Haywood Burns of Trezevant, who survives.
He is also survived by three brothers, Edsell Ray Burns, Terry Burlison, and Freddie Duke; seven uncles; two nephews; and three aunts.
Memorials may be sent to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Milan.

Christine Smothers Craven
1920-2006
NASHVILLE - Christine Smothers Craven, 85, formerly of Vale, died Wednesday, March 1, at Summit Medical Center. Services were held Saturday, March 4, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Taft officiating. Burial followed in Prospect cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mrs. Craven was born October 12, 1920 to the late Seburn Walter Joyner and Lillie Bellking Joyner. She was a Baptist in faith and formerly worked in dietary.
She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Smothers.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Craven; one daughter, Diane Turner of Nashville; one son, Rev. Jerry Smothers of Jackson; one stepsister, Lula Douglas of Bruceton; one brother, Frank Joyner of Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Mark Watson
1961-2006
McKENZIE - Kenneth Mark Watson, 44, died Saturday, March 4, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Services were held Monday, March 6, at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiated the service.
Mr. Watson was born March 10, 1961, to the late Wayne Douglas Watson and Ellen Stephens Watson of McKenzie, who survives.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Watson.
He is survived by two brothers, Tim Watson of Huntingdon and Thomas Watson of McKenzie; and three sisters, Cathey Bright, Pat Watson, and Pam Skeltis, all of McKenzie.

Wayne Davis
1960-2006
HUNTINGDON - Wayne Davis, 45, died Friday, March 3, at his residence. Services were held Monday, March 6, at Thompson Baptist Church near Camden. The Rev. Bruce Hollingsworth officiated the service. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis was born November 11, 1960, in Westchester, Pennsylvania, to the late Delbert Davis and Mary Ann Byrd of Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who survives.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessi Davis of Midfield, Alabama, and Shanna Davis of Tampa, Florida; one son, Michael Davis of Bessemer, Alabama; one sister, Jeannette Davis of Hampton, Tennessee; two brothers, Ronald Davis of Shamokin, Pennsylvania, and Rex Davis of Hampton, Tennessee; and three grandchildren.

Sue Nell Bouldin
1911-2006
McKENZIE - Sue Nell Bouldin, 94, died Saturday, March 4, at McKenzie Healthcare Center. Services were held Monday, March 6, at McKenzie Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy McComb officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Bouldin was born July 5, 1911, in Henry County, to the late John Anderson Clendenin and Lucy Wynns. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Paris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bouldin; a son, Earl Randle Bouldin; three brothers, Travis Clendenin, John Anderson Clendenin, and Joe Clendenin; and four sisters, Hettie Bumpas, Irene Hall, Angie Sweatt, and Margaret Meadows.
She is survived by one son, Robert "Bob" Bouldin of McKenzie; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Robert Elihu McDaniel
1941-2006
GLEASON - Robert Elihu McDaniel, 65, died Sunday, March 5, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m., at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Well officiating. Interment icon will follow in New Bethel cemetery in Henry. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McDaniel was born February 17, 1941, in Henry, to the late Fred and Ivy "Valley" McDaniel. He was a former employee of Boral Bricks and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Henry.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Crocker McDaniel; two daughters, Connie Fay Smith of Martin and Blinda "Lynnie" Suratt of Dresden; two sons, Robert Dwayne McDaniel of Gleason and Tracy Lee McDaniel of Greenfield; one step-son, Aaron Tegethoff of Bolivar, Missouri; four sisters, Sarrah Mae Wallace of Clarksville, Louciel Brummitt of Gleason, Ivy Nell Quinn of McKenzie, and Betty Sue Burchem of Murray, Kentucky; three brothers, Harlon McDaniel of McKenzie, Freddie Lee McDaniel Sr. of Greenfield, and Joe McDaniel of McKenzie; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Henry, Tennessee.

Mildred Boggan Fowler
1914-2006
MEMPHIS - Mildred Boggan Fowler, 91, died February 27, at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 1, at Dilday Funeral Home East Room. Interment icon followed in the Oak Hill cemetery. Brother Fred Ward officiated the services.
Mrs. Fowler was born October 7, 1914, in Carroll County, to the late John Herman and Jamie Wilkes Williams. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the retired owner of Merle Norman Studios.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Boggan and Guy Fowler; a son, John Albright; a brother, Elmer Williams; and a sister, Jessie Lee Ezell.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane McCrary of Memphis; a sister, Erin Jeanette Hilliard of Huntingdon; a brother, Joe Odell of Athens, Georgia; a step-daughter, Shirley Boggan Webb of Nashville; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Raybon Eugene "Sonny" Hunt
1937-2006
LOWELL, INDIANA - Raybon Eugene "Sonny" Hunt, 68, died Monday, February 27, at the University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were Saturday, March 4, at Gallimore Funeral Home. Burial followed in Hopewell cemetery in Gleason.
Mr. Hunt was born August 21, 1937, in Greenfield, to Samuel and Nona Emerson Hunt, both deceased. He was a former resident of Gleason, a member of the National Guard, and owner of a grinding and machine company.
He was preceded in death by three sisters: Annie Mae Williams, Marie Gearin, and Betty Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Holland Hunt; two sons, Charles Hunt of Lowell, Indiana, and Kevin Hunt of Crown Pointe, Indiana; three daughters, Rhonda Foss, Romeoville, Illinois, Donna Stigall of Martin, and Lisa Hunt of Elgin, Illinois; one sister, Shirley Ozment of Greenfield; and six grandchildren.
