TREZEVANT - Services for David Eugene Perry, 42, were at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 11 at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment icon followed in the Pleasant Grove cemetery with Bro. Richard Allen officiating.
Mr. Perry, who worked at G&C Supply in Atwood, died on Thursday, July 8 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was born October 4, 1961 in Bradford to the late Harlon Perry and Faye Adams of Atwood, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Hope Elaine Perry of Greenfield; two sons, Brian Adrain Perry of Greenfield and Zachery King of Trezevant; two sister, Teresia Warren of Milan and Karen Burke of Bradford and one brother, Patrick Perry of Atwood.

Lora B. Crocker
1905-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Lora B. Crocker, 98, were on Sunday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home with Revs. Joe Williamson and Vance Rushing officiating. Interment icon followed in the New Prospect cemetery in Greenfield.
Mrs. Crocker, a homemaker, died on Friday, July 9 at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie.
She was born December 6, 1905 in Greenfield to the late Omar Rassett and Alice White. She attended the New Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Crocker of Greenfield and Billy Crocker of Union City; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Alma Cox Tharpe
1925-2004
PARIS - Services for Alma Cox Tharpe, 78, were held on Tuesday, July 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home with the Rev. John Campbell officiating. Interment icon followed at Greenwood. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church.
Ms. Tharpe died on Thursday, July 8 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
She was born October 18, 1925 in Paris. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Arthur Williams, her mother, Nazerine Williams, her husband, Woodrow Wilson Tharpe and one son, Charles Dunlap.
Survivors include a daughter, Thelma Clark of Paris; one sister, Mary Gray of Paris; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Nannie Mae Harris
1923-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Nannie Mae Harris, 81, were on Tuesday, July 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Harris, a factory worker, died on Sunday, July 11 at McKenzie Health Care Center. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in McKenzie.
She was born May 10, 1923 in McKenzie to the late Della Lilly Tegethoff and Claude Tegethoff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Harris.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Burke of Gleason and Larry Burke of McKenzie; one daughter, Martha Burke of McKenzie; one sister, Wilma Stout of Memphis, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Willard Dean Brush
1917-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Willard Dean Brush, 86, retired owner of Brush Brothers Milling Company, were at 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 7 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with the Rev. Tony Janner and Rev. Bob Hull officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Brush died on Saturday, July 5 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
He was born in Greenfield on May 27, 1917, to the late Henry and Lou Ellen Trentham Brush and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie.
Surviving are his son, Joe Frank Brush of McKenzie; a daughter, Nellie Ann Dailey of Martin; a sister, Vaughnell Brush Webb of McKenzie; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Caroline Mitchum Bacigalupo Kelley
1930-2003
ALBERMARLE, NORTH CAROLINA: Mrs. Caroline Mitchum Bacigalupo Kelley, formerly of McKenzie, died on Friday, July 4 after a long illness. Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 7 at Woodlawn cemetery in Nashville.
She was born September 17, 1930 in Chattanooga to the late Charles and Ethel Mitchum. She was a graduate of McKenzie High School.
A retired medical transcriptionist, she was an active member of the First Assembly Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bacigalupo. She was married to Robert M. Kelley of Albermarle.
Survivors also include a daughter, Carol Clough of Omaha, Nebraska; a son, Charles Martin Bacigalupo of Conover, North Carolina; a brother, Col. D.K. Mitchum of McKenzie and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Caroline Kelley Alzheimer's Fund, P.O. Box 804, Albermarle, North Carolina, 28002-0804.

Garvin Noles
1922-2003
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Garvin Noles, 81, died on Thursday, July 3 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating. Interment icon followed in the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Benton County.
Mr. Noles was born February 27, 1922 in Buena Vista to the late Clarence Edward and Ellie Ann Abbott Noles. He was a World War II army veteran and a self-employed store owner. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dwayne Noles.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Lee Noles; two sons, Kenny Noles of Paris and Keith Noles of Buena Vista; and seven grandchildren.

Infant Diavion Nashay Gilbert

Infant Diavion Nashay Gilbert passed away Monday, June 30 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 2 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
She is survived by her mother, Shania Caudill; father, Eric Gilbert; sister, Aryanna Gilbert; maternal grandmother, Frankie Noles; maternal grandfather, Leon Caudill; paternal grandmother, Ida Gean Harris Gilbert; paternal grandfathers, Moses Harris and Carol Townes.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Larry R. Boone, Sr.
1952-2003
SPRINGVILLE - A graveside service for Larry Royce Boone, Sr. was at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28 at the Antioch cemetery in Springville.
Boone, 51, died Friday, June 27 at the Henry County Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.
Born February 6, 1952 in Dyersburg, he was a son of O'Neal and Mattie Robinson Boone, both deceased.
He was married on September 19, 1992 to the former Myrtle Killcrease, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Larry R. Boone, Jr. of Washington; two stepdaughters, Chewanna Ray and Jessica Boone, both of Henry; two stepsons, Junior Boone of Springville and Keith Boone of Henry; two sisters, Betty Smith and Ann Webb, both of Halls; five brothers, Terry Boone and Rick Boone, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Speck Boone and Earnest Boone, both of Dyersburg and Roy Boone of Memphis; and two grandchildren.

Doris Lerie DePriest
1920-2003
TREZEVANT - Services for Doris Lerie DePriest, 82, were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Hopewell cemetery near Lavinia.
Mrs. DePriest died on Sunday, July 6 at Regional Hospital in Jackson. She was a member of the Spring Hill Baptist Church near Huntingdon.
Survivors include her husband, J.B. DePriest; one daughter, Judy Diane Garrard of Jackson; one son, Jerry Donald DePriest of Trezevant; one sister, Gail Gatlin of Cedar Grove; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials or contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.

Buck Calbert
1926-2003
TREZEVANT - Graveside services for Buck Calbert, Sgt. Major, U.S. Army, retired, were on Monday, June 30 at 2:30 p.m. at the West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Mr. Calbert, 77, died on Wednesday, June 25 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
He was a 25-year member of the United States Army and served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the McKenzie VFW Post #4935.
Survivors include his wife, Hoo Ham Calbert; two daughters, Liz Calbert Swatsek of Los Angeles, California and Ruth Calbert Haggart of Southaven, Mississippi; one son, Ken Calbert Spencer of Rossville; two sisters, Violet Kemp of Bridgeport, Alabama and Martha Austein of Memphis; one brother, Billy Calbert of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Calbert's name may be made to the organization of the donor's choice. Forest Hill East Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Chester Roy Verner
1922-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Chester Roy Verner, 80, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 27 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial was in Whitfield Pavatt cemetery in the Eagle Creek Community of Benton County.
Mr. Verner, a farmer, died on Wednesday, June 25 at Jackson Regional Hospital. He was a member of VFW Post #4939 and served with the United States Army in World War II with the 6th Calvary.
He was born On September 4, 1922 in Ducktown to the late Lorence Harrison and Minnie Davis Verner.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie A. Sikes Verner; two sons, Jim Verner of Camden and Charles Verner of McKenzie; one daughter, Ann Maxwell of McKenzie; one brother, C. Den Verner of Chantilly, Virginia; three sisters, Jewel Blalock of Armory, Mississippi; Edna Marshall of Ellijay, Georgia and Dorothy Davis of Richmond, Virginia; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
