Jamie V. Clark

CEDAR GROVE - Mrs. Jamie V. Clark, 88, died Thursday, June 5 at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robert Barger officiating. Interment icon followed in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was born on October 23, 1914 in Carroll County to the late Tommy and Lula Cobb Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Claxton Clark and a daughter, Blondell Sellers.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Lou Ward of Memphis; two sons Jerry D. Clark of Cedar Grove and James 'Pete' Clark of Bruceton; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pearl Britton Cooper
1930-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Pearl Britton Cooper, 72, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 6 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Richie and Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial was in Enon cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died on Wednesday, June 4 at her home.
She was born September 7, 1930 in McKenzie to the late Ruby Haddock Britton and Ruben Britton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Cooper; a son, Gary Cooper of Crown Point, Indiana; a daughter, Barbara Ann Cooper of Maryville, Indiana; four sisters, Zittie Stafford, Dorothy Britton, Jean Adams and Geneva Horton, all of McKenzie; two grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Georgia Wynema Daily
1935-2003
CARROLLTON, GEORGIA: Services for Georgia Wynema Daily, formerly of McKenzie were at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 9 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Daily died on Saturday, June 7 at Northlake Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was born June 11, 1935 in Henderson County to the late Ruby Maness Duke and John Duke.
Survivors include a son, Sam Daily of Carrollton, Georgia; a daughter, Valerie Moore of Carrollton, Georgia; a brother, John Duke of McKenzie; three sisters, Betty Laughlin of McKenzie, Frances Cary of Huntingdon and Geneva Deere of Lexington; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Daily.

Raymond Lindle Harper
1923-2003
CHARLOTTE: Michigan: Raymond Lindle Harper, 79, went home to be with the Lord on June 6. He was born in Benton, Kentucky on October 28, 1923, the son of Effie Jane and George Lindle Harper. He was reared in Gleason.
He served in World War II and was in the United States Navy from 1943-1946 on the U.S.S. Amick DE168. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katie Summers Harper; his parents and two brothers, Paul and James Harper.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita Harper; four children, Brenda Siefert, Ray Harper, Mary Harper, and Geraldine Ziolkowski; three stepchildren, Gary Wright, Brenda Friar, and Teresa Lea. He also had 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters, L.C. Harper and William Harper of Paris; Billy Harper and George Harper of McKenzie, Elawease Ellis of Gleason, and Faye Taylor and Shirley Morris of Greenfield.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral home in Charlotte, Michigan with burial in Mount Hope cemetery in Lansing, Michigan.

Kendrick Lashawon Medlock
2003
WILDERSVILLE - Kendrick Lashawon Medlock died on Sunday, June 1 at the Lexington Methodist Hospital. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 4 at 4:30 p.m. at Parker's Chapel cemetery.
Kendrick was born on March 23 in McKenzie.
Survivors include his parents, Baryon Johnson and Tiffany Medlock; two brothers, Kennon Medlock and Kendall Johnson; one sister, Keyonna Johnson, all of Wildersville.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Lee J. Presley
1925-2003
TREZEVANT - Mr. Lee J. Presley, 78, died on Friday, June 6 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastview Baptist Church with Brother Johnny Burns officiating. Interment icon followed in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Presley, the son of the late Varney and Vester Lee Presley, was born on June 1, 1925 in Atwood. He was a retired employee of Carroll Farmers Co-op and a farmer. He was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bevia Nolen Presley; one stepson, Bobby Stewart of McKenzie; one sister, Imogene Presley of Trezevant; three brothers, Jesse Presley of Huntingdon, Virgil Presley of Ripley and Jerry Presley of McKenzie.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Ann Phillips Rogers
1934-2003
MT. JULIET: Dorothy Ann Phillips Rogers, 68, died on Sunday, June 8. She was a native of Tebbetts, Missouri and a former resident of Carroll County.
Mrs. Rogers was employed by Turner Dairies and was a Pentecostal Sunday School teacher for many years. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie Gertrude Wittenberger Phillips. A brother, Harold D. Phillips and a sister, Gladys M. Phillips Payne also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet with Pastor Butch Martin officiating. Additional services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 13 at Tebbetts United Methodist Church in Tebbetts, Missouri with Rev. Larry Sapp officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to each service.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Lee Byars and Steven Edward Byars, both of Mt. Juliet; a daughter, Kimberly J. Byars of Mt. Juliet; five brothers, Donald L. Phillips, Clarence Phillips, Jr, and James W. Phillips, all of Tebbetts, Missouri, Charles D. Phillips of Defiance, Missouri and Daniel K. Phillips of Jefferson City, Missouri; and three sisters, Betty J. Phillips Smith, Helen F. Phillips and Linda K. Phillips, all of Jefferson City, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Betty Adams, Memorial Chair, 14270 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN 37183 or Tebbetts United Methodist Church.

TEDDY RAY FRANCISCO
1954-2008
SPRINGVILLE - Teddy Ray Francisco, 53, died Tuesday, March 11, at his home. A graveside memorial service was Thursday, March 13, at 4 p.m. at Memorial cemetery with Bro. Willard Alls and Bro. Charles Cate officiating.
Mr. Francisco was born April 2, 1954 to the late Crockett Francisco and Delores Bourne Francisco. He was a truck driver and member of Springville Church of Christ.
Survivors include: his wife, Gay Riley Francisco; two daughters, Jenna (Bubba) Foutch of Paris and Laura Francisco of Springville; two goddaughters, Cathy Bertrum of Collierville and Pammy Gloystein of DuPont, Washington; one godson, Staff Sgt. Roy Baricuatro of Chester, Virginia; two sisters, Brenda (Wray) Umstead of Huntingdon and Laura (Jerry) Johnson of Medina; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
McEvoy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

SHIRLEY OVERSTREET
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: Shirley Overstreet, 60, died Tuesday, March 4, at Lourdes Hospital of Paducah. Funeral services were Sunday, March 9, at 3:30 p.m. at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home in Paducah with Jim Ricks officiating. Burial was at 11 a.m., March 10, at Oak Grove cemetery in Paducah.
Mrs. Overstreet was the daughter of the late George and Hattie Mae Hutcherson Duckworth. She was a former employee of Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Thelma Ann Dumas; and two brothers.
Survivors include: her husband of 30 years, Raymond H. Overstreet; one son, Jerome Dumas, Sr. of Paris; two daughters, Peggy Webb of Paris and Lottie Dumas of Paducah; three sisters, Peggy Hatcher of Clarksville, Georgia Foster of McKenzie, and LaCanda Duckworth of Paducah; three brothers, Harry and Rudell Duckworth, both of Paducah, and Richard Duckworth of Murray; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

BRENDA FAYE BOYD
1941-2008
McKENZIE - Brenda Faye Boyd, 66, died Monday, March 10, at her home. Funeral services were Thursday, March 13, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sellers officiating. Burial followed in McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd was born October 30, 1941 in Carroll County to the late Albie and Doye (Laws) Simmons. She was a retired Office Manager for the McKenzie Technology Center and a member of Holladay 's Chapel Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Boyd.
Survivors include: two brothers, Paul B. (Karen) Simmons of Mt. Juliet and Gayford (Betty) Simmons of McKenzie.

GLENDA CAROL JOHNSON
1955-2008
HOLLOW ROCK - Glenda Carol Johnson, 52, died Tuesday, March 11, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Thursday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Burial followed in New Hope cemetery in Yuma.
Mrs. Johnson was born July 18, 1955 in Gibson County. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James Kelley.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kelley Hollowell of Hollow Rock; one son, Jesse Autry of Hollow Rock; her mother, Jonnie Lou Gifford of Bruceton; four sisters, Terri Larkins of Buena Vista, Syndey Maness and Rhonda Kelley, both of Bruceton, and Christie Bailey of Scotts Hill; and two grandchildren.

JESTEEN ADAMS
1927-2008
McKENZIE - Jesteen Adams, 80, died Saturday, March 15, at her home. Funeral services are Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m. at Sajewski Funeral Home in Detroit, Michigan. Burial will follow at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan.
Mrs. Adams was born May 25, 1927 to the late Monroe and Mattie Hall Blair in Letcher Co., Kentucky. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Adams, and one sister, Coleen (John) Wright.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elena (Buzz) Chapman of McKenzie; one sister, Mary (John) Brown of Detroit, Michigan; one brother, Dale (Jane) Blair of Barlow, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jennifer Mollett, Adam (Cheryl) Martel, Chip (Debbie) Chapman, and Jennifer (George) Jackson; ten great-grandchildren, Evan Mollett, Samantha Martel, Rusty Chapman, Austin Chapman, Zach McEwen, Noah McEwen, Matt Melton, Josh Melton, Taylor Jackson and Nichole Jackson.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Carroll Lake County Club Relay for Life team in McKenzie.

LURA PARKER
1913-2008
HUNTINGDON - Lura Parker, 94, died Friday, March 7, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Falls officiating. Burial followed in Reedy Creek cemetery.
Mrs. Parker was born October 6, 1913 in Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, George "L.G." Parker, and one son, Charlie Parker.
Survivors include: one daughter, Josephine Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Otta Jones Jenkins; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
