BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA: Services for Haley Nicole Vaughn, five-months old, were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19 at Beech Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Copeland officiating. Burial was in Tumbling Creek cemetery.
Haley died on Saturday, August 16 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. She was born March 17.
Survivors include her parents, Scott Alan and Angela Horton Vaughn of Beaufort, South Carolina; a brother, Brian Vaughn of Beaufort, South Carolina; grandparents, Theresa and Johnny Horton of McKenzie and Nelda and Herman Vaughn of Gleason; great-grandparents Jean Winstead of Atwood, Tommy Walker of Wesport, Dorothy and Clifford Horton of Huntingdon, Betty Antwine of Gleason, and Herman Earl Vaughn of Gleason; and an aunt, Amanda Vaughn of Murray, Kentucky.

Jeremy Lynn Hugueley
1984-2003
GLEASON - Services for Jeremy Lynn Hugueley, 18, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9 at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Jim Robinson and Nathan Horton officiating. Burial was in the New Valley cemetery.
Mr. Hugueley, a laborer, died on Wednesday, August 6 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
He was born September 17, 1984 in Martin.
Survivors include his father, Donald Ray Hugueley of Gleason, his mother, Becky Winstead Hugueley of Gleason; two brothers, Joshua Glynn Hugueley of Dresden and Scotty Ray Hugueley of Gleason and his grandparents, Joe and Joyce Mingle of Gleason and Ada Winstead of Dresden.

Onnie Lee Dameron
1911-2003
YUMA - Services for Onnie Lee Dameron, 91, will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20 at Reed's Chapel in Lexington. Burial will follow in Farmsville cemetery.
Mr. Dameron died on Monday, August 18 at his home.
Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Lewis; one grandson and two great-grandsons, all of Clarksburg. His wife, Velma Dameron, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday until 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until time for the service.
Reed's Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Geneva McDonald
1921-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Geneva McDonald, 82, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Interment icon followed at Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. McDonald, a homemaker, died on Thursday, November 13 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. McDonald was born on June 26, 1921 to the late Grady and Mary Morgan Coleman. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Coleman and Johnny Coleman.
Survivors include her husband J.T. 'Beanie' McDonald; two sons, Tommy McDonald of Jackson and Stanley McDonald of Memphis; one daughter, Melissa Rosengren of Memphis; one brother, Jimmy Coleman of McKenzie; three sisters, Lottye Choate of McKenzie, Rebecca Rauchie of Union City and Floy Teague of Rosemart and six grandchildren.

John E. Hughey
1934-2003
UNION CITY - John E. Hughey, 69, died Monday, November 10 at Volunteer Hospital in Martin. Services were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12 at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden with James Kinsey officiating. Burial was in the Corinth cemetery in Sharon.
Mr. Hughey, a retired farmer and truck driver, was a Baptist and a Master Mason.
He was born in Waverly to the late Robert and Lathel Fields Hughey. A son, Teddy Hughey and a daughter, Karen Hughey also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Boone Hughey; two daughters, Phyllis Rauchle of Union City and Sherry Merritt of Columbia; one son, Tony Hughey of Gleason; two sisters, Frances Wilson of Springville and Louise Morgan of Pillowville; two brothers, Ralph Hughey of Paris and Robert Hughey of Sharon; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Cherish Sheilene Webb
1968-2003
GLEASON - Services for Cherish Sheilene Webb, 35, formerly of Gleason, died on Wednesday, November 12 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Services were scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 17 at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment icon was in the Hopewell cemetery.
Ms. Webb, a paralegal, was born October 22, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Joe Allin Webb of Gleason and Deryse Purtell Webb of Nashville.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, are one son, Lennon Yowell of Nashville; one brother, Mike Summers of Hohenwald; and one sister, Tamara Webb of Tucson, Arizona.

Basil Ray Roney
1924-2003
GLEASON - Services for Basil Ray Roney, 78, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9 at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Auvenshine officiating. Interment icon followed in the Hopewell cemetery.
Mr. Roney, a retired carpenter, died on Tuesday, October 7 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
He was born on October 29, 1924 in Gleason to the late Charles Hatler and Lucinda Tilley Roney. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Roney Sanders; two sisters, Ruby Lee Cooper and Blanche Hodges Moore; one brother, Henry Roney and two half-brothers, Velmont Roney and Dudley Roney.
Survivors include his wife, Delma Oliver Roney; one son, Danny Roney of Gleason, one stepson, Robert Adams of Sharon; two stepdaughters, Lucille Smith of Utica, Kentucky and Reba Callins of Greenfield; three sisters, Edna Tilley and Ruth Jackson, both of Dresden and Luree Grissom of Carnel, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

David Leon Futrell
1955-2003
CEDAR GROVE - Mr. David Leon Futrell, 48, died Thursday, October 9 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Ivy officiating. Interment icon followed in the Chapel Hill cemetery.
Mr. Futrell was born July 9, 1955 in McKenzie. He was a truck driver for the U.S. Express Trucking Company and a Vietnam army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, William Futrell, one brother, Glen Futrell and his stepfather, Shelby Andrews.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Andrews of Hollow Rock; his fiancee', Diana Dellinger of Cedar Grove; one daughter, Angela Dawn Hunter of Wisconsin; two sisters, Nyla Stolte of Winfield, Illinois and Cindy Futrell of Huntingdon and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Charles Edward Carey
1935-2003
HUMBOLDT: Services for Charles Edward Carey, 68, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14 at Brummitt Funeral Home. Burial was in the Everett's Chapel cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Carey, a truck driver, died on Saturday, October 11 at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1935 in Westport. He was an army veteran.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Laudermilk of Humboldt and Ramonica Jackson of Somerville; his mother, Lillian Blount Carey of McKenzie; a sister, Ethel Lee Hampton of McKenzie; three grandchildren, Luke Laudermilk, Dakota Jackson and Dillion Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Addie Lee Carey.

John B. Stayton
1918-2003
FULTON, KENTUCKY: Services for John B. Stayton will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15 at Cayce United Methodist Church in Cayce, Kentucky, with Rev. Ann Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in the Cayce cemetery.
Mr. Stayton died on Sunday, October 12 at Parkway Regional Hospital. He was an U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II where he was the youngest First Sergeant and was wounded in France. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and the V.F.W. in Union City. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, the Combat Infantry Badge and Sharpshooter's Medal for his military service. He was also a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday School teacher. He loved to fish and lived most of his life in the Cayce area.
He was born January 4, 1918 in Lawrence County, Arkansas to the late Thomas Albert Stayton and Mary Elizabeth Graddy Fleener Stayton. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Helen Ruth Cruce Stayton; a brother, Sylvestor Stayton and a half sister, Audrey Fleener.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Cruce Stayton of Hickman, Kentucky and Thomas Leroy Stayton of Gunnison, Colorado; one daughter, Marie Vonceil Leyhue of McKenzie; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Carmmal Fry of Michigan City, Indiana and Sarah Adaline Draper of Glendale, Arizona and a brother, Albert Junior Stayton of Houston, Texas.

Hazel H. Pickler
1921-2003
BRUCETON - Services for Hazel H. Pickler, 82, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15 in the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Daniel and Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Bethlehem cemetery near Rosser.
Mrs. Pickler died at her home on Saturday, October 11. She was a retired operator for Henry I. Siegel, Co. in Bruceton.
She was born on March 20, 1921 in Beattyville, Kentucky to the late Oscar Orville Harris, Sr. and Mary Bell Daughtery Harris. He was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star #180 and the Bruceton Lions Club. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Bain.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Pickler of Bruceton; one daughter, Sandra Bain Jowers of Lexington; one stepdaughter, Vickie Adams of Lancaster, South Carolina; five sons, Jimmy Allen of Houston and Daryl Allen, Arthur Bain, Juan Bain and Donald Bain, all of Lexington; two brothers, Eugene Harris of Detroit, Michigan and E.B. Harris of Atlanta, Georgia; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Lillian Elizabeth Smith
1910-2003
ATWOOD - Services for Lillian Elizabeth Smith, 92, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Latham officiating. Burial followed in the Howse cemetery in Atwood.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, died at NHC Heathcare Center in Milan on Tuesday, September 30. She was a member of the Howse Baptist Church in Atwood.
She was born October 2 1910 in Atwood to the late Rosa Idella Moore Seymore and Andrew Seymore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Smith and a son, James W. Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Crider of Bradford; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
