CLARA WEBB
1920-2008
GLEASON - Clara Webb, 87, died Sunday, May 18, at her home. Funeral services are Thursday, May 22, at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with burial in Hopewell cemetery in Gleason.
Mrs. Webb, a homemaker, was born December 12, 1920 in Sharon to the late Alvin and Mary Jane Medlock Adams. She was Presbyterian in faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Webb; and one son, Cloyas Webb.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nancy Smith of Paris and Ferrellin Cassidy of Gleason; one son, Joe Webb of Gleason; one sister, Odell Blakemore of Dresden; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

MINNIE BELLE COLE
BUENA VISTA - Minnie Belle Cole died Monday, May 19, at Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services are Wednesday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Wiggins and Bro. Wendell Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Bell was born in Carroll County to the late Dolphus Franklin and Minnie Williams Crossett. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Leslie Cole; two sisters, Jewell Crossett and Jeanette Langley; one brother, Frank Crossett; and two half-sisters, Maude Gasque and Mary Revell.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of services.

KENNETH EUGENE MORRIS
1952-2007
PURYEAR: Kenneth Eugene Morris, 54, died Sunday, January 21, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 24, at 11:30 a.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Gary Collier and Andy VanDyke officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Morris was born March 17, 1952 in Gleason to the late Walter Lee and Nina Maude Orr Morris. He was a member of West Wood Pentecostal Church of God in Paris, worked at Emerson Electric over 20 years as a machinist set-up, then worked at Mohon in Paris, and was a union steward for IAM Union. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Vesta Mae Bratton, and two brothers, Herman and Sherman Morris.
Survivors include: one son, Kenneth Eugene (Melissa) Morris, Jr. of Mascoutah, Illinois; one daughter, Christy (Andy) VanDyke of Paris; four sisters, Dorothy Wilson of McKenzie, Joyce (Ken) Parham of New Orleans, Louisiana, Sue (Ronnie) Singleton of Paris, and Janice Lewis of Paris; two brothers, Roy (Shirley) Morris and William "Buddy" (Kay) Morris, both of Paris; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

PHILLIP SINGLETON
1965-2007
ATWOOD - Phillip Singleton, 41, died Sunday, January 21, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Burton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah cemetery.
Mr. Singleton was born October 31, 1965 in Gibson County. He was a quality control technician for the D N L Company, and was a member of the Atwood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his father and mother, Robert Murray Singleton Jr. and Patsy (Beaty) Singleton of Atwood; and one brother, Chris (Tabitha) Singleton of McKenzie.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral after 12:00 noon on Wednesday and from 8:00 a.m. until time of services on Thursday.

MELBA MCCLURE MOSELEY
McKENZIE - Melba McClure Moseley died Monday, January 22, at Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center in Nashville. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at presstime at Brummitt Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Moseley.
Survivors include: two sons, Johnny and Bobby Moseley, and one daughter, Pattie Coleman.

J.B. JOHNSONIUS
1922-2007
McKENZIE - J.B. Johnsonius, 84, died Monday, January 22, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were incomplete at presstime with Brummitt Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Johnsonius was born June 19, 1922 to the late H.M. and Donna McFadden Johnsonius. He was owner/operator of Johnsonius Sheet Metal which was established in 1927 by his parents, Hobson and Donna Johnsonius, and was one of the oldest Lennox dealers in the U.S. He was a member of First Presbyterian U.S.A. and lifetime member of VFW and WWII veteran.
Survivors include: two daughters, Viki (George) Hatcher of San Antonio, Texas, and Teri (Loyd) Ford of Calvert City, Kentucky; two sons, J.B. (Jenny) Johnsonius, Jr. of Paris, and Hoppy (Kim) Johnsonius of McKenzie; one sister, Jean (Paul) Straub of Memphis; and 10 grandchildren.

Ralph W. Tucker
1919-2005
SPRINGVILLE - Ralph W. Tucker, 85, died Monday, January 17 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Services were at 2 p.m., Friday, January 21, at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.
He was married Sept. 30, 1942, to the former Dorothy Davis, who survives.
Born June 22, 1919, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, he was the son of Patrick and Maggie Tucker, both deceased.
Tucker worked as a commercial bus driver in Chicago. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
He also leaves two sons: Ralph Gary Tucker of Springville and Gene (Jerri) Tucker of Henry;
One daughter: Donna Calvert of Chicago; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Raymond A. Ferry
1928-2005
Funeral mass for Mr. Raymond A. Ferry, age 76, was Monday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris, with Father Victor with the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris officiating. Rosary was Sunday evening, at 7:00 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home. Entombment will be Wednesday, January 26, at 11:00 a.m., in the Rose Hill cemetery in Massillon, Ohio.
Mr. Ferry, a retired product engineer for Republic Builders, died Friday, January 21, at the Henry County Medical Center. He was born in Canton, Ohio, October 8, 1928, to the late Nicholas Ferry and Julia Fogel Ferry. Mr. Ferry was a communicant of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus in Paris and a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War era.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Rose Ferry; a son, Chip Ferry of Memphis; a daughter, Beth McClure of Decatur, Illinois; and a brother Edward J. Ferry of Louisville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Nicholas ferry, Jr., and a sister, Barbara Weaver.
McKenzie Funeral Home was charge of the arrangements.

Frederick Gilbert Hart
1946-2005
McKENZIE - Mr. Frederick Gilbert Hart, 58, formerly of Des Moines, Iowa, died Monday, January 17, at his residence. His body was cremated. Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hart, a gun fighter in Arizona for the Shriner's Children's Hospital, was born January 20, 1946, in Floris, Iowa, to the late Henry Kelsey Hart and Elizabeth Neddler Hart.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Earls Hart; a step-son, Adam Stone of Gleason; a step-daughter, Shannon Stone of Huntingdon; a brother, Jack Hart of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Freda Riley of Des Moines, Iowa and Martha Davidson of Newton, Iowa; two step-grandchildren; fourteen nieces and nephews, two from McKenzie (Patty Hutton and Jason Schlampp); and twenty-two great-nieces and nephews.

Wayne Wheat
PHILIPPINES: Wayne Wheat, 64, died Friday, January 14. He was the son of the late Lee Wheat and Effie Wheat. He was retired from the Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Wheat; two children, John Wheat and Jennifer Wheat, both of the Philippines; a brother, Mac Wheat of McKenzie; four sisters: Jessie Cude and Lucille Blaylock of McKenzie and Louise Crider and Lois Hampton of Huntingdon, and several nephews and nieces.
Burial was in the Philippines in Malino.

Linda Faye Kemp
1958-2005
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Linda Faye Kemp, 46, died Friday, January 21, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Her body was cremated.
Mrs. Kemp was born December 8, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan. She was a employee of Jim Adams, IGA. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dakota Kemp and Toby Kemp, and a brother, Vincent Loji.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Kemp, Sr., of Camden; her parents, Robert George Parker of Clair, Michigan and Eura Ann Thomason Parker of Sterling Heights, Michigan; two daughters, Lisa Bitner and Felicia Bitner, both of Huntingdon; two sons, Bobby Kemp and Vincent Kemp, both of Huntingdon; three sisters, Barbara Parker, Karen Parker Rosehek and Jean Parker, all of Michigan; a brother, Donnie Parker of Michigan; and three grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ruth Marie Rich Johnson
1914-2005
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Ruth Marie Rich Johnson, 90, died Thursday, January 20, at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment icon followed in the Davis Chapel cemetery. Brother Phillip Halter officiated the services.
Mrs. Johnson was born June 11, 1914, in Carroll County, to the late Clarence Jackson Rich and Maggie Tosh Rich. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Tessie Byars Rich; her husband, Edwin (Edd) Carl Johnson, who died in March 1986; and five brothers and sisters: Johnnie Louise Beal, Ray Rich, Raymond Rich, C.J. Rich and Billy Rich. She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Natalie Shoppe.
She is survived by a son, Bruce Allen (Patricia) Johnson, Sr., of Huntingdon; a daughter, Gilda Marie (Edgar) Dooley of Memphis; eight brothers and sisters: Frances Rich Carter and Peggy Rich Pruitt, both of Huntingdon, Coy Rich oand Travis Rich, both of McKenzie, Gaylon Rich, Garlon Rich, and Don Rich, all of Huntingdon, and Faye Rich Chandler of Adamsville; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two step great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
