PAULINE HARRISON BIRDWELL

McKENZIE - Pauline Harrison Birdwell, 78, died Saturday, April 15, at Oak Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 16, in the chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment icon followed in Seminary cemetery. Brother Joe Abbott officiated the services.
Mrs. Birdwell was born September 12, 1927, to the late Roosevelt and Clara Clark Harrison. She attended Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Priestly Birdwell; one sister, Helen Forrest; and one brother, Calvin Harrison.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Jordan of McKenzie; four sons, James Birdwell of McKenzie; Charles Birdwell of Greenfield; Bobby Dale Birdwell of McKenzie; and Kenny Joe Birdwell of McKenzie; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

LOU MANN
1914-2006
HOLLOW ROCK - Lou Mann, 91, died Monday, April 17, at her residence. Services will be held Wednesday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at Mixie Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Tony Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Methodist cemetery in Huntingdon.
Mrs. Mann was born May 17, 1914, in Lexington, to the late Henry Jasper Tate and Maggie Mae McKee Tate. She was married November 17, 1933 to the late Aaron Jefferson Mann, who died December 31, 1976. She was a member of Mixie Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ruth Wilson, and two brothers, Robert Tate and Thomas Tate.
Survivors include one son: John (Ruth) Mann of Hollow Rock; one daughter, Mildred (Billy) Barker of McKenzie; three brothers, Henry J. Tate of Lansing, Michigan, James B. Tate of Granbury, Texas, and Calvin Tate of Grayling, Michigan; one sister, Brooksie Marshall of Trezevant; five grandchildren: Timothy Barker, Terry Wilson, Pam Evans, Jennifer Mann, and Melissa Mann Moody; and eight great-grandchildren: Aaron Barker, Andrew Barker, Nicholas Wilson, Madison Wilson, Alyssa Wilson, Aaron Evan, Patrick Evans, and Chester Evans.
Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

JOSEPH DANIAL WOLLICK
1943-2006
CAMDEN - Joseph Danial Wollick, 63, died Friday, April 14, at Camden General Hospital. Graveside services were Saturday, April 15, at Sandy Point Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Hollingsworth officiated the service.
Mr. Wollick, a Vietnam veteran, was born February 10, 1943, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Walter Paul Wollick and Anna Katherine Mastel Wollick.
He is survived by one son, Joey Wollick; two sisters, Elizabeth Mazzoli and Barbara Erzin; six brothers: Walter (Irene) Wollick, Frederick Wollick, Charles (Lorraine) Wollick, Edward Wollick, Danny Wollick, and John Wollick; and very special friends Elvis and Linda Williams.

BRANDON THOMAS SNYDER
1988-2006
HUNTINGDON - Brandon Thomas Snyder, 18, died Tuesday, April 11. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 13, in the Huntingdon High School Gymnasium with Brother Rick Crossno and Brother Terry Dickey officiating. Interment icon followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Snyder was born January 5, 1988, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a Huntingdon High School senior and a member of the Honor Society. Brandon received several awards as a Huntingdon Mustang football player: the Top Linebacker on Defense, Leading Tackler, Special Teams MVP, All Region 6-2A and the All-West State.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Jamie Davis and a brother, Christopher Snyder, all of Huntingdon, and his grandparents: Patsy Jessee of Huntingdon and Cathy Snyder and Maureen Doty, both of Florida.

Ola Hildred Wallace
1914-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Ola Hildred Wallace, 88, were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. O.T. Cottrell officiating. Burial was in Liberty cemetery in Dresden.
Mrs. Wallace died on Saturday, February 1 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1914 in Henderson to the late Clementine Morris Richardson and Andy J. Richardson. She was a member of the Liberty Pentecostal Church in Dresden.
Survivors include her husband, Cleavie Wallace; seven daughters, Doris McCormack of Jackson, Glenda Snider and Jeanette Snider, both of Dresden, Katie Daniel of Gleason, Georgia Roney of Chester, Virginia, Shirley Eskey of Mohnton, Pennsylvania and Lois McGowne of Sammamish, Washington; a sister, Willo Maxwell of Milan; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Helen Rebecca Wallace also preceded her in death.

Dennis M. Arthur
1914-2003
Funeral services for Dennis M. Arthur, 88, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2 at Reed's Chapel. Burial was in James cemetery.
Mr. Arthur, a construction worker and constable, died on Friday, January 31 at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer. He was a member of the Blue Goose Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Arthur; four daughters, Mickie Wizer of Memphis, Nellie Faye Lowrance of Dyer, Kathy Suggs of Selmer and Sherrell Huey of Cedar Grove; two sons, Jerry Arthur of McKenzie and Danny Arthur of Cedar Grove and a sister, Verlie Ward of Bradford.

Sam Howard Barnhart
1951-2003
McKENZIE - Paris native Sam Howard Barnhart, 51, died on Thursday, January 30 at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie after an illness.
Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Ray Forrest officiating. The body was to be cremated with visitation on Saturday, February 1.
Born on July 15, 1951, he was a son of the late James Gardell Barnhart and Lucille Barnhart McElroy. He was a car dealer.
Survivors include two sons, Gregory Barnhart of Paris and Leslie Barnhart of Livingston, Texas; two daughters, Tammy Barnhart of McKenzie and Stephanie Hartmann of Livingston, Texas; three brothers, Joe and Thomas Barnhart, both of McKenzie and Jessie Barnhart of Wisconsin; one sister, Wanda Faye Barnhart of Huntingdon; five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

ADAM COLEMAN CARTER
1986-2007
HUNTINGDON - Adam Coleman Carter, 21, died Saturday, November 17, in Knoxville in an automobile accident. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 20, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Bryan Oakes, Bro. Scott Carter and Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Carter was born April 24, 1986 in Jackson. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a student at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a member of the fraternal order of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Coy and Louise Rich.
Survivors include: his parents, Jeff and Amy (Rich) Carter of Huntingdon; one brother, Isaac Carter of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Willodean Coleman Carter of Huntingdon; and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ELIZABETH CHRISTINE WIGGINS
1924-2007
McKENZIE - Elizabeth Christine Wiggins, 83, died Sunday, November 18, at her residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 20, at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Boyd officiating. Burial followed at Olive Branch cemetery in Como.
Mrs. Wiggins was born April 11, 1924 in Big Creek, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Cora Ellen Stephens Bailey. She was a member of Mixie Missionary Baptist Church and an employee of Western Wire Manufacturing. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wiggins; one sister, Stella Mae Dilday; and two brothers, Rev. Charles Edward Bailey and W.T. Bailey.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Perry of McKenzie; one son, Jack Wiggins of Henry; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

MABLE S. TAYLOR
1920-2007
McKENZIE - Mable S. Taylor, 86, died Sunday, November 11, at Regional Hospital of Jackson. Funeral services were Saturday, November 17, 1 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church in Puryear with Rev. Leroy Brent officiating. Burial followed in Union Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born December 22, 1920 in Dresden to the late Alvin Strayhorn and Callie Strayhorn Rogers.
Survivors include: her husband, Rev. Alvandon Taylor; one son, Rev. Alvin (Jewelean) Taylor of McKenzie; one sister, Carolyn Bryant of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rawls Funeral Home of Paris was in charge of arrangements.

TIMOTHY RAY GRAVES
1963-2007
PURYEAR: Timothy Ray Graves, 44, died Monday, November 12, at his residence. Graveside services were Tuesday, November 13, at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel cemetery at Big Sandy with Gary S. Collier officiating.
Mr. Graves was born January 12, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a repairman for Carter Sales and Service. He was preceded in death by his father, George D. Graves.
Survivors include: his mother, Janice Dillon Graves of Paris; three sisters, Geneva Roberts of Como, Debbie Sneed of McKenzie, and Kim Tate of Manchester; and four brothers, Anthony and Tommy "Turk" Graves, both of Puryear, Bobby Graves of Paris and Mike Graves of Greenville, Kentucky.
McEvoy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

TOMMY BATES
1956-2007
McKENZIE - Tommy Bates, 51, died Monday, November 12, at his residence. Funeral services were Wednesday, November 14, 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with burial in Blooming Grove cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Bates was born April 1, 1956 in Poke County, Florida to the late Ewell Nathan Bates, Sr. and Jane Parrish Bates. He worked for Southern Star Lumber Company. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Timmy Bates and Joe Bates.
Survivors include: his wife, Ellen Whitmore Bates of McKenzie;
three daughters, Margaret Bates of Huntingdon, Wanda (Buster) Camper of Puryear, and Dana (Hank) Lenox of McKenzie; one son, Tommy (Lisa) Bates of Henry; seven brothers, Royce Bates and Henry Bates, both of Paris, Franklin Bates of Henry, Wesley Bates of Como, Ewell Nathan Bates, Jr., James Bates and Hollis Bates, all of Ripley; three sisters, Jadie Lovette of Ripley, Charlene Davis of Mansfield, and Charlotte Bates of Ripley; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Ranee Camper, BJ Camper, Ashley Bates, Atlanta Bates, William Lenox and Hank Lenox, Jr.

JAMES THERON TRULL
1931-2007
McKENZIE - James Theron Trull, 76, died Wednesday, November 14, at his residence. Funeral services were Friday, November 16, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Trull was born April 29, 1931 in Henry County to the late Gilbert Newton Trull and Jessie Morris Trull. He was a former employee of Southern Star Lumber Company. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Morris Trull and Reuben Chandler, and one sister, Irene Berry.
Survivors include: his wife, Martha Bynum Trull of McKenzie; two sons, Ray (Lucy) Trull and Donald (Sue) Trull, both of McKenzie; four grandchildren, Stan (Janet) Trull, Angie (Marty) Hopper, Tammy (Ryan) Arnold and Nicholas Trull; and five great-grandchildren, Lisa, Matricia, Kayla, Kyle and Craig.
