Mr. Cunningham, a retired farmer, died on Tuesday, February 11 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
He was the widower of Fara Mae Cunningham.
Maudie Neal "Bootsie" Burgess Hayes

HORN LAKE, MISSISSIPPI: Maudie Neal "Bootsie" Burgess Hayes, 79, died on Sunday, February 9 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSota in Southaven. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. Burial was in the Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hayes, widow of Namon Edward Hayes, leaves a daughter, Tene Nelson of Hernando, MS; four sons, Kenneth Hayes and Richard Hayes, both of Horn Lake; Michael Hayes of McKenzie and Mark Hayes of Brighton; two sisters, Merl Avant and Bobby Jean Carter and a brother, Claude Burgess, all of Mangham, Louisiana; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Jessie Sanford Robertson, Jr.

HOLLOW ROCK - Services for Jessie Sanford Robertson, Jr., 49, were at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jarrett Glosson officiating. Burial was in Barren Springs cemetery.
Mr. Robertson, supervisor for Tennessee Pearl Company, died Tuesday, February 11 at his residence.
He was born on March 20, 1953 in Joiner, Arkansas to Violet Cavitt Robertson and the late Jesse Sanford Robertson, Sr.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his spouse, Shelia Blagg Robertson; a daughter, Angela Smith of Ft. Eustis, Virginia; two sons, Patrick Robertson and Justin Robertson, both of Hollow Rock; a sister, Judy Moore of Blytheville, Arkansas; two brothers, Todd Robertson and Sammy Robertson, both of Hollow Rock and one grandchild.
Brookie Ann Burke Connell

McKENZIE - Services for Brookie Ann Burke Connell, 85, were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 17 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Edwards officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Connell, a homemaker, died on Friday, February 14 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.
She was born March 30, 1917 in McKenzie to the late Della Barton Burke and Pratt Burke. She was a member of the McKenzie Church of Christ. Her husband, Ralph Connell, a brother, William Burke and a grandson, John Beecham also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Beecham of Naperville, Illinois; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Louise Leach Ramsey

McLEMORESVILLE - Services for Louise Leach Ramsey, 81, were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15 at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in the Pisgah cemetery in Atwood.
Mrs. Ramsey, a homemaker, died on Wednesday, February 12 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a member of the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as the church pianist. Her husband Roy Ramsey, Jr. preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Pete Ramsey of Martin, Mark Ramsey of Huntingdon and Phillip Ramsey of Niangua, Missouri; two daughters, Ellen Ramsey Barr of Memphis and Jennifer Hays of Milan; six grandchildren, Mike Hays, Jenny Lytle, Brett Ramsey, Matt Ramsey, Clifton Roy Ramsey and Alan Ramsey and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McLemoresville.
Prentice Jamison

HUNTINGDON - Services for Prentice Jamison, 95, were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16 at Smyrna Baptist Church in Huntingdon where he was a member with his son, Rev. Carvene Jamison officiating. Rev. Jamison is pastor of the Williams Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in Humble cemetery in Huntingdon.
Jamison died on Wednesday, February 12 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was born July 13, 1907 in Huntingdon to the late George and Elmyra Jamison. He was married
to the former Hallie King, who died on July 6, 1981.
Jamison leaves 319 living descendants, including four daughters, Louise Blankenship, Melvie Sue Pearson and Vella Owens, all of Huntingdon and Mary Jean Craig of Jackson; three other sons, Rev. Dewayne Jamison and Raymond Jamison, both of Huntingdon and George L. Jamison of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 72 grandchildren; 158 great-grandchildren and 81 great-great grandchildren. Two sons, Prentice Jamison, Jr. and Raynell Jamison and three daughters, Dorothy Willis, Margaret Ann Melton and Evelyn Jamison also preceded him in death.
Trinity Funeral Home in Paris was in charge of the arrangements.
Tommy Morphis

followed in the Prospect cemetery.
Mr. Morphis was born on November 27, 1948 in Bruceton to the late Leon and Ophelia York Morphis. He was a Marine Corps veteran with service in Vietnam and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Lynn Sawyer of McKenzie; one sister, Chris Black of Westport and three grandchildren.
Jan Gurley

Miss Gurley was born on July 22, 1974 in Huntingdon. She was a volunteer aid at the Clarksburg School and a member of the Roans Creek Church of Christ. Her grandparents, Oder and Corene Gurley and James Thomas and Lessie Harris and several aunts and uncles preceded her in death.
Survivors include her parents, Orbra and Sue Carol Gurley of Clarksburg; one brother, Glen Gurley of Huntingdon; one sister Tena Halter of Clarksburg; four nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
James Bayless Hill

HUNTINGDON - Mr. James Bayless Hill, 91, died on Tuesday, March 11 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 14 at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scott Carter officiating. Interment
followed at Bethlehem cemetery.
Mr. Hill was born on January 30, 1912 in Carroll County to the late Roscoe and Manda Lee Vaughn Hill. He was a retired employee of Sunstrand. Two sisters, Ivy Lee Perritt and Lela Mae Chandler, preceded him in death.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Laverne Kirk of Bartlett; one brother, Tommie Hill of Huntingdon and eight nephews.
Frank L. "Bobby" Ridley, Sr.

Mr. Ridley, a retired employee of the Milan Arsenal, died on Friday, March 14 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1929 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Ila Mann Ridley and Otto Ridley. He formerly served as McKenzie Fire Chief for 31 years, a freight agent with Railroad Express Agency, headquartered at McKenzie Depot for 27 years, was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie and was also business manager at the McKenzie Hospital for eight years.
Survivors include a son, Frank Ridley, Jr. of McKenzie; two daughters, Carol Simpson of Jackson and Jan Loy of Knoxville; two brothers, Joe Ridley and Dewayne Ridley, both of McKenzie; a sister, Joyce Driskell of Decatur, Alabama; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mary Anne Parker

McKENZIE - Services for Mary Anne Parker, 95, were conducted at Brummitt Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jo Nell Copeland and Rev. Eulon Greer officiating. Interment

Mrs. Parker, a homemaker, died Monday, July 25, at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie. She was a member of the Community Grove Methodist Church.
She was born May 31, 1910, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Frank Miller and Dovie Bridges Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Parker; a sister, Vinetta Smith; and two sons, Donald Parker and Jimmy Parker.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law; six step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-granddaughter.
Rubye Edna Mitchell Smith

COLUMBIA: Services for Rubye Edna Mitchell Smith, 98, were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia. A graveside service was conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, at the Scotts Hill Methodist Church cemetery in Henderson County.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, July 26, at Life Care Center in Columbia.
The Henderson County native was the daughter of the late Iley Ector Mitchell and Arbie Turner Mitchell. She was preceded in death by Roy Kelley Smith, who died November 20, 1983. She was a graduate of Scotts Hill High School and received her teaching certificate from Bethel College. She was a retired school teacher with the Carroll County School System.
Survivors include a son, John Mitchell Smith of Columbia; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elna Brewington of Nashville.
