ATWOOD - Services for Kenneth Jay Holland, 31, were held a 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22 at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home. Burial followed in House cemetery in Atwood.
Mr. Holland, a truck driver, died Friday, September 20 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. His father, Horace G. Holland preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Holland of Lavinia; one daughter, Kimberly Dianne Holland of Bradford; one son, Kenneth J. Holland, Jr. of Bradford; two sisters, Belinda Gay Mealer of Gadsden and Melissa Gail Moore of Leach; two brothers, Denis Ray Holland of Trezevant and Gaylon Dale Holland of Milan and his grandmother, Nannie Fay Buckingham of Humboldt.

Leatrice C. Jenkins
1923-2002
GREENFIELD - Services for Leatrice C. Jenkins, 79, were at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21 at Williams Funeral Home with burial in Hornbeak cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins died Wednesday, September 18.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie Hutcherson; two sons, Jack Jenkins and Kenneth Jenkins; two brothers, Billy Lon Cantrell and Bobby Fon Cantrell and a sister, Lou Nell Cochran.

I.D. Cook
1923-2002
LEXINGTON - Services for I.D. Cook, 79, were at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14 at Reeds Chapel in Lexington with burial in Jones cemetery in Wildersville.
Mr. Jones, a farmer, died on Monday, November 11 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon. His wife, Lessie Cook, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Rogers of Trezevant; one son, John Cook of Nashville; one brother, Jim Cook of Lexington and one grandchild.

Walter Austin Crawford
1964-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Walter Austin Crawford, 38, died on Tuesday, November 12 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m. at the Colonial Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mr. Crawford was born on January 2, 1964 in Houston, Texas to the late James Dale and Oma Jewel Harrelson Crawford. He was a self-employed painter.
Survivors include one daughter, Misty Turner; three sons, Jonathan Crawford, Bradley Crawford and James Walter Crawford, all of Archer City, Texas; a stepmother, Sarah Crawford of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Karen Crawford and Tina Marie Crawford and five brothers, Gary Don Crawford, George Arthur Crawford, Richard Dale Crawford, Terry Wayne Crawford, all of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jerry Lynn Crawford of Arkansas.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Martha Hodge Douglas
1933-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Martha Hodge Douglas, 69, died on Saturday, November 16 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Jerry Dodd, Jerry Roach and Robert Simmons officiating. Interment icon followed in the Farmville cemetery.
Mrs. Douglas was born on January 18, 1933 to the late Walter Laws and Joann Waugh Hodge. Her husband, Leonard James Douglas, one sister, Margaret Seaton and one brother, Howard Dwayne Hodge all preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Pickett of McKenzie; two sons, Gary Dodd of Springfield, Illinois and Samuel Dodd of Clarksburg; two stepsons, Michael Douglas of West Chicago, Illinois and Lenny Douglas of Springfield, Illinois; four sisters, Hazel Pefhel of Payne Springs, Texas, Iris Ellington of McKenzie, Janie Cobb of Hollow Rock and Barbara Road of Camden; four brothers, Huey Hodge of Bruceton, Wayne Hodge of Bruceton, Tyler Hodge of Xenia, Ohio and Ivan Hodge of Humboldt; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Neil Forsythe
1960-2002
HUNTINGDON - Services for Neil Forsythe, 42, were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15 at Hall's Funeral Home. Burial was in the Archers Chapel cemetery near Halls.
Mr. Forsythe, a former factory employee, died Tuesday, November 12 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from injuries sustained in a tornado on Saturday, November 10.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Bushart and Darlene Springer, both of Huntingdon; three brothers, Ricky Forsythe, Barry Forsythe and Jason Forsythe, all of Huntingdon.

Elnora Cornelia Harris
1921-2002
McKENZIE - Elnora Harris, 81, died on Wednesday, November 13 at Methodist Hospital of McKenzie. Services were at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16 at Wingo Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Joe D. Morton officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Born in Evansville, Indiana on September 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Camilla Thedford.
She was married on October 31, 1942 to Beolia Harris, who died on April 29, 1994.
Survivors include four daughters, Camilla Taylor and Mary E. Harris, both of McKenzie and Mable Banes and Martha William, both of Nashville; three sons, Joseph Harris and Thomas Harris, both of McKenzie and Izreah Harris of Clarksville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Trinity Funeral Home of Paris was in charge of the arrangements.

Howard 'Gene' Jackson
1931-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Howard 'Gene' Jackson, 71, were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Lynn Elder officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Jackson, a supervisor for South Central Bell died Wednesday, November 13 at McKenzie Healthcare Center.
He was born March 16, 1931 in Pryorsburg to the late Mary Jackson and Aldon Jackson. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
A son, Kirby Jackson, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Britt Jackson of McKenzie; two grandchildren, Chance Jackson and Bryce Jackson, both of McKenzie and a brother, Bob Jackson of Wingo, Kentucky.

Ralph Cecil Parkhill
1917-2002
DAHLGREN, ILLINOIS: Services for Ralph Cecil Parkhill, 85, were at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19 at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren, Illinois with the Rev. Tom Clements officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mr. Parkhill, retired civil service employee with the U.S. Government Engineering Department, died on Sunday, November 17 at Lifecare Center in Bruceton.
He was born on January 31, 1917 in Dahlgren, Illinois to the late George William and Alma Matilda Rawls Parkhill.
Survivors include his wife, Alice V. Parkhill of Swansea, Illinois; two daughters, Carol Clements of McKenzie and Sharon Cross of Smithville; a stepdaughter, Norma Crow of Swansea, Illinois; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and thirteen step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Glad Tidings Church, Smelting Wors Road, Swansea, Illinois, 62226.

Robert Todd Tegethoff
1918-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Robert 'Todd' Tegethoff, 84, were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 15 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in Pilgrims Rest cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Tegethoff, a farmer, died on Wednesday, November 13 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born September 21, 1918 in Gibson County to the late Dellar Lilly Tegethoff and Claude Tegethoff.
Survivors include his wife, Susie White Tegethoff, two daughters, Betty Crocker of Greenfield and Wyvonne Rogers of McKenzie; two sons, Joe Tegethoff and Charles Tegethoff, both of McKenzie; two sisters, Nannie Maie Harris of McKenzie and Wilma Stout of Memphis, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A son, Billy Tegethoff, a sister, Ruth Reeves and two brothers, James and Roy Tegethoff preceded him in death.

LoLisa Ann Brown Wilbourn
1972-2002
Services for LoLisa Brown Wilbourn, 30, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 15 at Parker's Chapel CME Church in Gibson with the Rev. Anthony Menzies officiating. Burial was in the Gibson Memorial cemetery.
Mrs. Wilbourn died on Monday, November 11 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from injuries incurred in an automobile accident.
She was born May 19, 1972 in Gibson County and was a member of the Parkers Chapel CME Church in Gibson.
Survivors include her husband, LeKeevis Wilbourn of Jackson; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Marvin Weddles of Trezevant; her father and stepmother, Alfred and Shelia Brown of Carbondale, Illinois; two sons, Dewayne Brown and Nicholas Brown, both of Lithonia, Georgia; a daughter, Lashonda Gooch of Trenton; five sisters, Rochelle Newberry of Huntingdon, Tina Weddles of Trezevant, Ann Weddles of Humboldt, and Rashika Briggs and Shanika Brown, both of Lithonia, Georgia; four brothers, Alfred Brown, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, Marvin Weddles of Humboldt, Allonte M.E. Brown of Carbondale, Illinois and Alex Newberry of Huntingdon.
Baskerville Funeral Home in Humboldt was in charge of the arrangements.

Cordell 'Hoss' Cole
1920-2002
CAMDEN - Services for Cordell 'Hoss' Cole, 82, were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Whitworth officiating. Burial was in the Hollow Rock Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Cole, a retired truck diver for Red Ball, died on Monday, October 28 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born October 24, 1920 in Benton County to the late William Hobart Cole and Leola Mae Park Cole. His wife, Dee Cole, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Nutting of McKenzie, a son, Jim Cole of Camden, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Susan Carr McDonald
MEMPHIS - Services for Susan Car McDonald were at 11:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29 at Forest Hill Funeral Home in Memphis.
Mrs. McDonald, a former schoolteacher, died Saturday, October 26 at her home in Memphis.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley McDonald (formerly of McKenzie); sons Matt and Tyler McDonald, her mother, one sister and one brother.
