LEXINGTON - Services for Delinda "Dee" Myracle Smith, 55, were at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 1 at Reeds Chapel in Lexington. Burial followed in the New Hope cemetery in Yuma.
Her parents, Jack and Carolyn Myracle preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Tania Spooner of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Michael Smith of Henderson; seven sisters, Paulette Maness and Anita Lemonds of Lexington, Betty Ziulek and Cindy Simonelli of Illinois, Eddie Susan Jeffries of Tyler, Texas, Charlotte Chadwick of McKenzie and Lisa Breeden of Yuma and three grandchildren.

Frances Phillips Williams
1955-2002
SAGINAW, MICHIGAN: Services for Frances Phillips Williams, 47, formerly of Trezevant, were at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Trezevant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Williams died on Friday, November 29 at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, Georgia.
She was born January 19, 1955 in Carroll County to the late R.L. and Pearl Vaughn Phillips. She was a member of the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Trezevant.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Williams, Jr.; five brothers, Billy Joe Phillips, Bobby Phillips and Richard L. Phillips, all of Nashville; Raymond Phillips of Decatur, Illinois and Arthur Phillips of Jackson and two sisters, Brenda Ellison of Flint Michigan and Marcie Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia.
Rawls Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

John Edward Davis
1924-2002
McKENZIE - Services for John Edward Davis, 78, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. John Forgy officiating. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Davis, a retired truck driver and coal miner, died on Sunday, December 1 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born July 26, 1924 in Castle Gate, Utah to the late Zella Anderson Davis and William E. Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah M. Davis; two sons, John D. Davis of Fair Oak, California and Edward R. Davis of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; three daughters, Patricia A. Davis and Sandra J. Mungor, both of Sacramento, California and Susan M. Akins of McKenzie; two sisters, one of Tijeras, New Mexico and Carol Jean McRaven of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Dorothy Inez Willis
1933-2002
HUNTINGDON - Services for Dorothy Inez Willis, 69, were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Carvene Jamison officiating. Burial was in Humble cemetery.
Mrs. Willis died Tuesday, December 3 at Methodist Healthcare in McKenzie.
She was born January 10, 1933 in Carroll County to the late Rev. Bentice Jamison and Hallie King.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Jamison of Huntingdon, Vonnie Bell of Pennsylvania and Kathy Jillo of Marietta Georgia; four sons, Darnell Jamison and Jonte Willis of Huntingdon, Robert Earl Willis of Paris and Johnny Lee Willis of Ripley; four sisters, Louise Blankenship, Vella Mae Owens, and Melvie Pearson, all of Huntingdon and Mary Jean Graig of Jackson; four brothers, Rev. Carvene Jamison, Raymond Jamison, and Dwayne Jamison, all of Huntingdon and George Jamison of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Weldon Willis, one sister and two brothers, preceded her in death.
Rawls Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Sam Oden
1902-2002
LAVINIA - Services for Sam Oden, 100, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5 at Little Grove Church in Lavinia with burial in Highland Memorial cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky.
He died on Monday, December 2 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He attended the Reedy Creek Baptist Church in McLemoresville.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Oden; four sons, Edward Oden of Alliance, Ohio, John Oden and Julius Oden, both of Elmira, New York and Wilburt Oden of Milan; five daughters, Mary DeShields of Atlanta, Georgia, Lorvora Gosby and Luvette Gosby, both of Akron, Ohio, Ruth Martin of West Virginia, and Sandra Pannell of Rochester, New York; 49 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Wilma Huffstatler
1926-2002
DRESDEN - Wilma D. Huffstatler, 76, died on Sunday, December 1 at her residence. Services were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5 at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden. Burial followed in Jolley Springs cemetery in Weakley County near Como.
Born in Arkansas, she was a daughter of Lula E. Harbison of Dresden and the late Frank Harbison. She was the widow of Hughey M. Huffstatler.
Mrs. Huffstatler was a retired telephone operator for AT&T. She was a member of the Jolley Springs Baptist Church, west of Como.
Survivors include three sons, James W. and Cecil Huffstatler, both of Paris and Kenneth Huffstatler of Rochelle, Illinois; one daughter, Pamela Johns of Latham; three brothers, Linder and Dennis Harbison, both of McKenzie and Troy Harbison of Dresden; one sister, Illa Miller of Rochelle; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Tom Beal
1909-2002
McLEMORESVILLE - Mr. Tom Beal, 93, died on Wednesday, December 18 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment icon followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beal was born on June 1, 1909 in Benton County to the late Brenton and Mary Elizabeth Tubbs Beal. He was a retired construction worker. A son, Wendall Beal, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Beal; two daughters, Mayrene Crews of Big Sandy and Elizabeth Butler of Kankakee, Illinois; three sisters, Mary Jane Hargis of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Inita Bivell of Paris and Gertrude Bishop of McKenzie; three brothers, Leon Beal, Wesley Beal and Dennis Beal, all of McKenzie; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Velma Jean Cisco
1930-2002
WESTPORT: Mrs. Velma Jean Cisco, 72, died on Wednesday, December 18 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, December 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Loyce Fuller officiating. Interment icon followed at Barr Springs cemetery.
Mrs. Cisco was born February 18, 1950 in Carroll County to the late Rufus Clay and Bessie Joyner Bridges. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Edd Cisco and a sister, Marion Grisham, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Mason and Beverly Gordon, both of Westport; one son, Tommy Cisco of Westport; one sister, Brenda Hudiburg of Nashville; two brothers, Troy Bridges of Jackson and Bennie Bridges of Bemis; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James Aubrey Hill
1908-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mr. James Aubrey Hill, 94, died on Wednesday, December 18 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, December 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Holmes officiating. Interment icon followed at Humbles cemetery.
Mr. Hill was born on April 2, 1908 in Carroll County to the late Samuel Howard and Lillie Kincannon Hill. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Bessie Churchwell Hill and two sister, Thelma Hill Younger and Mildred Hill Smith preceded him in death.
Survivors include one brother, Rayborn Hill of Roanoke, Virginia and one nephew Larry Joe Smith of Benton, Louisiana.

Richard Delmar Golden
1911-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Richard Golden, 91, were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Pence and Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Golden, a retired carpenter and farmer, died Wednesday, December 11 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born January 17, 1911 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to the late Betty Whitsett Golden and Charlie Golden. He was a member of the Community Grove Methodist Church in McKenzie. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Mildred Wheat of McKenzie; a son, Ralph Golden of McKenzie; a brother, James D. Golden of Brentwood; a sister, Jane Golden Essary of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Judy Tate of Berwyn, Illinois and Faye Stacknik of Dallas, Georgia; three great-grandchildren, Candy Saulsberry and Stacy Moran, both of Berwyn, Illinois and Jessica Stacknik of Dallas, Georgia; and two great-great-grandchildren, Carson Moran and Alaina Saulsberry, both of Berwyn, Illinois.
His wife, Annie Mae Looney Golden, preceded him in death.

Pauline Rushing
1947-2002
ARLINGTON: Services for Pauline Rushing, 55, were at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 1 at Stockdale-Malin Chapel Funeral Home in Camden with Bro. Jerry Dodd officiating. Burial was in Rushing Creek cemetery.
Miss Rushing died on Thursday, October 31 at Arlington Developmental Center.
She was born August 26, 1947 in Benton County to Morris Rushing and Flora Hale Rushing.
Survivors include six sisters, Shirley Johnson of Holladay, Carolyn Jo Sego of Jackson, Barbara Decker of Henry, Safronia Rufsholm of Clarksbville, Jean Sellers of McKenzie and Jane French of Paris; two brothers, Ray Rushing of Paris and Richard Rushing of Camden.
Two brothers, Larry and Clyde Rushing preceded her in death.
