McKENZIE - Graveside services for Zella Grace Greeson, 44, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20 at Parker's Crossroads cemetery.
Mrs. Greeson, a homemaker, died on Monday, October 18 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital.
She was born February 3, 1960 in Missouri to the late Raymond Levi and Irene Elizabeth Gaston Sawyer.
Survivors include three daughters, Jane Dunlap, Teresa Dunlap and Kimberly Dunlap, all of McKenzie; one son, Bryce Gaston of McKenzie; three sisters, Shirley Burnnette, Elizabeth Whold and Cleo Buhler, all of Missouri; four brothers, Jerry Sawyer, Harold Sawyer, Harry Sawyer, all of Missouri and Lloyd Sawyer of Camden; and two granddaughters.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Pitts Jerry Joyner
1933-2004
HUNTINGDON - Services for Pitts Jerry Joyner, 71, were conducted on Wednesday, October 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church.
He died on Saturday, October 16 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Joyner was born July 28, 1933 in Carroll County to the late Floyd E. and Lillian Gardner Joyner. He was a self-employed insurance agent.
Survivors include a son, Scott Joyner of Concord, North Carolina and a daughter, Lori Lewis of Jacksonville, Florida.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Dustin Caldwell
1981-2004
THIBODAUX, LOUISIANA: Services for former Paris resident Dustin Lee Caldwell were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 26 at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with Jerry W. Massey officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove cemetery.
Mr. Caldwell, 22, died Tuesday, June 22 in Thibodaux.
He was born in Paris on December 31, 1981 to Ricky Lee Caldwell and Lisa Wainscott Campbell, both of Paris. He was formerly a member of the National Guard.
Survivors include his parents, his stepmother, Valerie Caldwell of Paris; three brothers, Tyler Flanagan of Paris, Bryan Caldwell of Fort Riley, Kansas and Daniel Wilson of Bruceton; one sister, Elizabeth Caldwell of Paris; a grandmother, Margie Caldwell of Paris and a step-grandmother, Sarah Scott of Paris. He was preceded in death by grandparents Richard Caldwell and Fred and Sylvia Wainscott.

Arlene J. Davis
1935-2004
McKENZIE - Ms. Arlene J. Davis, 68, died Saturday, June 26 at the Oak Manor Health Care.
She was born July 18, 1935 in Cicero, Illinois to the late Albert and Gladys Hyzy Daiker. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Davis, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Kocka of Cicero, Illinois and Sandra Adams of McKenzie; one son, Thomas A. Davis, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Virginia Ellison of California; eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Claire Nell Lankford
1929-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Claire Nell Lankford, 74, were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at Brummitt Funeral Home. Burial was in Enon cemetery.
Mrs. Lankford, retired custodian for McKenzie Elementary School, died on Tuesday, June 22 at her residence.
She was born August 16, 1929 in Henry County to the late Verbal Melton Toler and Jessie Earl Toler. She was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Lankford of McKenzie and Thomas Earl Lankford of Paris; four sisters, Claudine Frensley of McKenzie, Sue Mortenson of Arlington, Virginia, Chloe Bell York of Norman, Oklahoma and Carolyn Carter of Mansfield; two grandchildren, April Dawn Adams and Cassie Lankford and two great-grandchildren, Drake Adams and Clayton Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.M. 'Merrill' Lankford and a brother, Earl Toler.

Caecilia H. McGoldrick
1925-2004
CEDAR GROVE - Caecilia H. 'Siets' McGoldrick, 78, formerly of Memphis, died on Saturday, June 26 at her home from cancer.
She was the daughter of Jan and Susan Hutten of the Netherlands. She was born in Boxmeer, Holland and was proud of her Dutch heritage. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1950 and served her native country as a member of the Princess Irene Brigade, attaining the rank of St. Major from 1947-50. She was a former member of the Belvedere Garden Club of Memphis and the FCE Club of Cedar Grove. She spoke five languages and served as a volunteer translator for the Red Cross.
Mrs. McGoldrick was preceded in death by a sister, Truce Battle of Memphis.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, John P. McGoldrick; two sons, John P. McGoldrick II of Houston, Texas and Chris McGoldrick of Memphis; and three grandchildren.

Bernice May Pinson
1906-2004
HOLLOW ROCK - Mrs. Bernice May Pinson, 97, died on Thursday, June 24 at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Allison officiating. Interment icon followed in New Prospect cemetery.
Mrs. Pinson was born September 13, 1906 in Carroll County to the late Henry Lee and Flenie Bilbrey Presson. She was a retired seamstress for the Henry I. Siegel Company and a member of Marlboro Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus N. Pinson, who died in January 1998, two brothers, Jim Presson and Thurmon Presson and three sisters, Flora Wilson, Fleeta Bowker and Margaret Flynn.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosalyn Scott of Hollow Rock and Jacqueline McGowan of Camden; three sons, Ruben Pinson of Tallmadge, Ohio, Johnny Pinson of Hollow Rock and Tony Pinson of Bruceton; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Doris Ann Smoron
1958-2004
McKENZIE - Services for Doris Ann Smoron, 46, were at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial was in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Smoron, an employee of New Generations, died Friday, June 25 at her residence.
She was born May 26, 1958 in Hohenwald.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Smoron; a daughter, Nicole Jean Smoron of McKenzie; her father, Clovis Durham of Dresden; three brothers, Roger Durham of Union City, Joe Durham and Moe Durham, both of Dresden; three sisters, Ann Gurley and Shirley Turnbo, both of Dresden and Connie Tucker of McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Jean Christian Durham.

Ray Thomas 'Tommy' Webb
1946-2004
MARTIN - Graveside services for Ray Thomas 'Tommy' Webb, 58, were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 28 at Hopewell cemetery with the Rev. Mike Jeffers officiating.
Mr. Webb, disabled, died on Saturday, June 26, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
He was born January 24, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to late Jim Tom and Elmina White Webb. He graduated from Gleason High School.
There are no immediate survivors.

Seborn A. Hathcote
1960-2004
MILAN - Graveside services for Seborn A. Hathcote, 43, formerly of Jackson, were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 25 at Liberty cemetery in McKenzie with the Reverend Jason Ray officiating.
Mr. Hathcote, disabled, died Tuesday, March 23 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
He was born March 30, 1960 in Jackson to the late Rosalea Stout Hathcote and Seborn A. Hathcote, Sr. He was a member of East Jackson Church of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Cornelius Hathcote of Jackson; a son, Kevin Hathcote of Jackson; eight sisters, Rose New, Linda Maples, Betty McCord, all of Jackson, Brenda Lollar of Oklahoma, Phylis Maben of Linden, Ruth Quick of Virginia, Martha Carroll of Lexington and Lessie Scott, address unknown.
McKenzie Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Monna Estell Owen
1914-2004
HENRY - Services for Monna Estell Owen, 89, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30 at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral in Paris with the Revs. Bob Copeland and Dennis Scott officiating. Burial was in Olive Branch cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Mrs. Owen, a homemaker, died on Sunday March 28 at McKenzie Healthcare Center.
She was born October 15, 1914 in Henry to the late Austin Earl Hall and Annie Vivian Travis Hall. She attended New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Henry.
Survivors include two daughters Helen Ruth Scott of Dresden and Sarah Vivian Chappel of Troy, Illinois; a son Hulon Earl Owen of McKenzie; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Alton Owen, two sisters, Mary Ellen Hall and Dorothy Mae Scott and a grandchild, Barry Owen.

Alva Lucille Johnson
1925-2004
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Alva Lucille Johnson, 79, passed away on Saturday, March 27 at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, March 29 at 12:00 noon in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lloyd Ray Rich officiating. Interment icon followed in the Union Academy cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born on January 31, 1925 in Carroll County to the late Henry and Clara Weatherley Wilson. She was a retired production worker for the Milan Arsenal and was a member of the Twin Oaks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Berry Johnson, who died on November 14, 1981; two sisters, Lorene Crews and Irene Viers; and two brothers, Charlie Wilson and Horace Wilson.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Nell Forrest; one son, Charles Johnson; one brother, Roy Wilson, all of Huntingdon; three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
