HOLLOW ROCK - Services for Christina Lola Patterson, 28, were on Wednesday, October 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. William A. Fowler officiating. Burial was in McAuley cemetery near Buena Vista.
Ms. Patterson died on Friday, October 24.
She was born October 2, 1975 in Memphis to Ms. Sherry Ozier and the late Charles Wade Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Estelle Ozier.
Survivors include four sons, Blake Santiago, Drew Jordan, Astin Patterson and Tristan Patterson; one brother, Tony Patterson, her grandfather, Levi 'Squeak' Ozier and a step-grandmother, Janis Ozier, both of Buena Vista.

Lawrence 'Frog' Mullins
1921-2003
MARTIN - Services for Lawrence 'Frog' Mullins, 82, were Friday, October 31 at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Reagan officiating. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.
Mr. Mullins was the owner of Mullins & Sons Contractors. He was an U.S. Army Veteran and served in World War II. He was a Baptist.
He was born June 21, 1921 in Christmasville to the late James F. and Dove Scarbrough Mullins.
Survivors include his wife, Bobby Pope Mullins; two sons, Ray Mullins and Johnny Mullins, both of Martin; two daughters, Barbara Marr of McKenzie and Donna Ashmore of Martin; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Joseph Eric Harris
1985-2003
PARIS - Services for Joseph Eric Harris, 18, were at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 3 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry W. Massey officiating. Burial was in Memorial cemetery.
Mr. Harris was dead on arrival Friday, October 31 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born January 24, 1985 in Cleveland, Mississippi. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Peacock Harris of Paris; his father, Joe Frank Harris of Horn Lake, Mississippi; three brothers, Chris Harris of Paris, Jason Harris of Cordova and Brad Harris of Cleveland, Mississippi; two half brothers, Mark Harris and Michael Harris and three half sisters, Missy Harris, Heidi Harris and Whitney Harris.

Walton Ray Booth
1922-2003
McKENZIE - Mr. Walton Ray Boothe, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 30 at Oak Manor Health Care Center. Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1 at Gallimore Funeral Home with Rev. Harrell Nations officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery near Gleason.
Mr. Boothe was the son of the late Marvin and Vertie Phillips Boothe. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Larry W. Parker
1912-2003
CEDAR GROVE - Services for Mr. Larry W. Parker, 91, were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in the Ferguson cemetery near Cedar Grove.
Mr. Parker, retired owner and operator of Parker's Store, died on Wednesday, October 29 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lou Parker.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Anne Bryant of Trezevant and Mary Elaine Douglas of Jackson; two sons, Larry Dean Parker and Joe W. Parker, both of Cedar Grove; thirteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Nathan Derrick Smith
1982-2003
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Nathan Derrick Smith, 21, died on Saturday, November 1 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from injuries he received in an automobile accident. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Scott Carter officiating. Interment icon followed in the Hampton cemetery.
Mr. Smith was born August 25, 1982 in McKenzie. He was a painter for Goble Painting.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Martin of Huntingdon; his father, Doug Smith; a daughter, Kaylee Smith of Huntingdon; a sister, Beth Martin of Huntingdon; two brothers; Chris Smith of Huntingdon and Matthew Smith of Paris; and his grandfather, Robert Smith of Mesa, Arizona.

Barbara Sue Chandler
1945-2003
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Barbara Sue Chandler, 57, died on Friday, October 31 at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, November 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers James Moody, John D. Small, Bryan Oakes, Lynn Stapleton and J.D. Abbott officiating. Interment icon followed in the Humbles Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler was born November 4, 1945 in Camden. She was a manager for Thomas Bradford Shirt Corp. with 29 years of service and an employee of McKenzie Medical Center with two years of service. She was a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. A daughter, Paula Renee Chandler, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Rufus Chandler; her parents, Verdell and Clara Dale Abbott Allen of Camden; one son, Terry Lynn Chandler of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Stephanie Annette Chandler of Murfreesboro; two brothers, William Larry Allen and Steven Randall, both of Bruceton; one sister, Cathy Lynettia McCaslin of Huntingdon and two grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Veleria Medlock Maddox
1909-2003
PARIS - Services for Mrs. Veleria Medlock Maddox, 94, were at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 3 at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris. Burial was in the Poplar Grove cemetery in Springville.
Mrs. Maddox, a housewife, died on Sunday, November 2 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
She was born September 24, 1909 in Springville to the late William Lewis Medlock and Lucy Robbi Cole Medlock. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.
Her husband, Quitman Maddox preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Faye Winsett of Paris; one son, William Haden Maddox of Springville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred R. Page
1927-2003
VERMONTVILLE, MICHIGAN: Mrs. Mildred R. Page, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 1 at Ingharn Regional Medical Center in Lansing. She was born January 29, 1927 in McKenzie to the late Elisha and Cora Wilson Aylor. She was raised in the McKenzie area and attended area schools. After high school, she continued her education and received her real estate broker's license.
On November 21, 1948, she married Edsel Page in McKenzie. The couple began their married lives in the McKenzie area and moved to Vermontville in 1973 after purchasing a family farm.
Survivors include her children, Elvira Boucher of Memphis, Edsel B. Page, Jr. of Memphis, Lanny Page of Memphis, Sheri Reynolds of Vermontville, Christie Trimble of Sarasota, Florida, Ben Page of Vermontville and John Page of Grand Ledge; one sister, Gretchen Vaughn of McKenzie; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her husband of 51 years preceded her in death as well as one grandson and two brothers, Woodrow and Emery Aylor.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5 at Brummitt Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions can be made to the McRee Guest House.

Linda Irene Sanders
1948-2003
JACKSON - Mrs. Linda Irene Sanders, 55, passed away on Saturday, November 1 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Ward officiating. Entombment was in the Carroll Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mrs. Sanders was born January 17, 1948 in Huntingdon to the late L.M and Julia Ann Taylor Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntingdon First Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Norman E. Sanders; one daughter, Cheryl Sanders Bagley of Lakeland; one son, Erik Sanders of Jackson; one sister, Lois Marsters of Nashville; three brothers, Clarence Brown of St. Louis, Missouri, Charles Brown of Huntingdon and Martin Levoy Brown of St. Louis, Missouri; and two grandchildren.

William Randy Scroggins
1961-2003
HOLLOW ROCK - Mr. William Randy Scroggins, 42, died on Friday, October 31 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 3 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ted Gentile officiating. Interment icon followed in McAuley cemetery.
Mr. Scroggins was born October 11, 1961 in Shelby County to the late Maxie and Laverne Cary Scroggins. He was an employee of Murray Outdoors.
Survivors include one daughter, Jacqueline Nicole Foster of Hollow Rock; one son, William Randy Scroggins, Jr. of Henry; two brothers, Bobby Scroggins of Memphis and Ray Scroggins of Memphis and one granddaughter.

Teresa Lynn Powers Shepherd
1959-2003
TREZEVANT - Services for Teresa Lynn Powers Shepherd, 44, were at 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 3 at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial was in the Poplar Springs cemetery.
Mrs. Shepherd died on Friday, October 31 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a member of the Howse Baptist Church in Atwood.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Shepherd; three sons, Brandon Joe Shepherd, Rusty Lee Shepherd and James Lynn Shepherd, all of Trezevant; her father and mother James Powers and Bobbie Powers of Milan; and two brothers Tommy Powers and Terry Powers, both of Milan.

Lona Carmon White
1917-2003
McLEMORESVILLE - Mrs. Lona Carmon White, 86, died on Saturday, November 1 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother George Sellers officiating. Interment icon followed in the McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. White was born September 1, 1917 in Huntingdon to the late Claude Elmer and Florence Goodrum White. She was a homemaker and a member of the Independence Church.
Survivors include one son, Rance White of McLemoresville; three sisters, Mauline Greeling of McKenzie, Mary Alice Foster of Nashville and Joyce Biggart of Huntingdon; two brothers, Bob White of Trezevant and Bill White of McLemoresville; one granddaughter and one great-grandchild.
