Regina Pearson
1957-2003
HUNTINGDON - Miss Regina Pearson, 46, died Sunday, November 2 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital from injuries she received in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Huntingdon Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Cox officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Parker's Chapel cemetery.
Miss Pearson was born August 3, 1957 in Carroll County. She was a member of the Huntingdon Christian Fellowship Church and an employee of Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Pearson and Stevie Pearson and a sister, Anna Rene Pearson.
Survivors include her father, Mather Pearson; her mother, Martha Butler, both of Huntingdon; two sisters, Frances Pearson of Nashville and Patricia Carter of Champaign, Illinois; seven brothers, Richard Pearson, Ernest Pearson and Kenny Pearson, all of Huntingdon, Billy Pearson, Randy Pearson, Robert Pearson and Nathan Pearson, all of Champaign, Illinois.
The family will receive friends on Thursday after 4:00 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with the wake from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m until the services.

Iva Mae Roberts
1918-2003
McKENZIE - Services for Iva Mae Roberts, 84, were Friday, July 18 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial was in Shiloh cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, July 15 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
She was born on December 3, 1918 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Elsie Stroud Waldrup and Burnice Waldrup.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Roberts and Bobby Joe Roberts and a sister, Margie Hime, all of McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Roberts and Eck Fuzzell.

Clarice Franks Walker
1908-2003
BRUCETON - Services for Clarice Franks Walker, 95, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Butler's Chapel cemetery in Buena Vista.
Mrs. Walker, a retired teacher for Benton County School System, died on Sunday, July 20 at Life Care Center in Bruceton.
Survivors include one son, John Walker of Cardiff, California and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wendell Walker.

Charlie Mae Francisco
1912-2003
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Charles E. (Charlie Mae) Francisco, 91, died on Friday, July 18 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 21 at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Interment icon followed in the Clark cemetery in Huntingdon.
Mrs. Francisco, the daughter of the late Arthur and Nina Grooms Campbell was born in Greenfield on April 12, 1912. She lived in Huntingdon after moving there with her family in the mid 1920's as her father was responsible for building the first paved roads in Carroll County. In 1929, she married Charles Francisco.
Mrs. Francisco served in the Carroll County Red Cross office during World War II. She worked along side her husband at the Carroll County Electric Department until retirement in 1975. After retirement, she managed various rental properties in Huntingdon and Greenfield. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Francisco. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Wayne Leslie of Jackson; a son, Charles Campbell Francisco of Harvard, Massachusetts; a brother, Wason Gardner Campbell of Knoxville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Deborah Carol Blaylock
1957-2003
BRUCETON - Graveside services for Deborah Carol Blaylock, 46, were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20 at Massey Liles cemetery with Rev. James Daniel officiating.
Mrs. Blaylock, a respiratory therapist in Beaumont, Texas, died on Saturday, July 12 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. The body was cremated.
She was born January 26, 1957 in Milan to Elma and Carolyn Crutchfield Blaylock of Nashville. She was employed at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas and Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Lee Page of White House; a son, Michael Hannah of Goodlettsville; a brother, Joe B. Blaylock of Joelton and two grandchildren.

Paul Manuel Hedge
1926-2003
BRUCETON - Services for Paul Manuel Hedge, 77, were at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Leonard Greer and Lynn Stapleton officiating. Burial was in Prospect cemetery.
Mr. Hedge, retired carman for CSX Railroad, died on Friday, July 18 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born January 23, 1926 in Benton County to the late Leonard M. and Odell Cole Hedge. He was a member of Sandy Point Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 314; 50-year member of the Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731 and Memphis Scottish Rites, Memphis, Al Chymia Shriners.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Katheryn Hall; a daughter, Theresa Hedge Furr of Bruceton; a sister, Remonia Allen of Huntingdon; a granddaughter and two step-grandchildren.

Dorothy Reeves Morris
1929-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Dorothy Reeves Morris, 73, died on Sunday, November 17 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Brother Glenn Nesbitt officiating. Interment icon will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born April 27, 1929 in Cruger, Mississippi to the late William and Rosie Benson Randle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Tom Morris of Huntingdon; one daughter, Lisa Ray of Huntingdon; a half-sister, Marlene Anderson of Fort Wayne, Indiana and two grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Marvin Edward Phelps
1917-2002
WALDRON, ARKANSAS: Graveside services for Marvin Edward Phelps, 85, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19 at Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie. Mr. Phelps, a former resident of McKenzie, died on Wednesday, November 13 at a Fort Smith hospital.
He was former president of the Bank of Waldron, Perry County Bank, Bank of Arkansas, Citizens Bank of Batesville and Merchants Bank of West Memphis. He was also a past member of the Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Sodie Davidson Park Board, Waldron Country Club, as well as several other civic clubs. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy and was also a member of the Waldron Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Phelps and a son, Edward Lynn Phelps of Waldron, Arkansas.
Martin Funeral Home of Waldron, Arkansas was in charge of the arrangements. Brummitt Funeral Home of McKenzie was in charge of the local arrangements.

Betty Jewell Bonner
1934-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Betty Jewell Bonner, 68, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Bonner, a retired waitress and hostess, died on Sunday, November 17 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
She was born June 8, 1934 in Trenton to the late Janie Whitehead McKenzie and Lon McKenzie. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Henry.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlean McCarthy of Anaheim, California and Paula Cambern of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother Joe Henry of Henry; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Betty Jo Hanks
1931-2002
ATWOOD - Services for Betty Jo Hanks, 71, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 20 at the Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will be in the Poplar Spring cemetery near Milan.
Ms. Hanks, a retired employee of Ceco Door Products, died Monday morning, November 18, at the Douglas Nursing Home in Milan.
She was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Jackson of Atwood; three sons, Billy Joe Hanks, Jimmy Hanks and Roger Hanks, all of Atwood; a sister, Ozell McKnight of Trenton; four brothers, Clovis Campbell and Edd Campbell, both of Trenton, Lonnie Campbell of Milan and Lee Campbell of Maury City; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial gifts may be made to Gideon's International.

Glenn Dale Crider
1954-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Glenn Dale Crider, 48, died Thursday, September 19 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 22 in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Abbott officiating. Entombment followed in the Carroll Mausoleum.
Mr. Crider was born February 17, 1954 in Carroll County. He was a member of the Marlboro Church of Christ and a carpenter. His father, Hubert O. Crider; two brothers, Joe Crider and Justin Lee Crider; one daughter, Velma Larue Patterson and one stepson, Michael Ray Pruett preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Beaird Crider; his mother, Viola Byford Crider of Hollow Rock; one stepdaughter, Michelle Pruett Baker of Bruceton; one stepson, Billy Pruett of Cedar Grove; six sisters, Kathy Russell of Bruceton, and Mae Shelby, Dora Dobson, Margie Bridges, Estelle Glisson, and Wanda Hardin, all of Hollow Rock; three brothers, Hubert O. Crider, Jr., James Harold Crider and Paul Crider, all of Hollow Rock and one step-grandson, Dakota Joseph Baker.

Lawrence Woodrow "Shorty" Grooms
1918-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Lawrence Woodrow "Shorty" Grooms, 84, died on Saturday, September 21 at his home. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 23 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scott Carter officiating. Interment icon followed in Hebron cemetery.
Mr. Grooms was born August 15, 1918 in Carroll County to the late Tom and Ollie Dickerson Grooms. He was a retired owner of Grooms Brothers Well Drilling and a World War II army veteran. His first wife, Aline Bond Grooms, a brother, Edgia Grooms and a sister, Lee Kosovac preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Grooms; one daughter, Carolyn Grooms Patton of Bartlett; two brothers, Richard Grooms of Paducah, Kentucky and Gordon Grooms of Bruceton; five sisters, Rena Houston of Madison Heights, Michigan, Veron Obrecht of Lacanto, Florida, Nina Smithson of Nashville, Dora Jean Holland of Camden and Alva Melton of Camden; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
