JOSEPH ROBERT CLARK

McKENZIE - Joseph Robert Clark, 38, died Wednesday, March 28, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Funeral services were Friday, March 30, 2 p.m. at Gallimore Funeral Home in Gleason with Rev. Bobby Conley officiating.
Mr. Clark, a welder/feed mill operator, was born April 13, 1968 in San Bernadino, California. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie (Rowe) Clark.
Survivors include: his father, James Ralph Clark; two brothers, James Clark of Camden and Shawn Clark of Gleason; three step-brothers, Greg Williams of Sharon, Rodney Williams of Dresden, and Chris Williams of Gleason; and one sister, Mandy Wade of Gleason.

JAMES THOMAS FITE
1950-2007
McKENZIE - James Thomas Fite, 56, died Sunday, March 25, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Fite, an air conditioner repairman, was born August 10, 1950 in Carroll County.
Survivors include: his parents, Jefferson Fite and Sue (Turney) Fite; one son, James Timothy Fite; four daughters, Tina Fite of Lebanon, and Gina Alas, Michele Hill and Brittany Hill, all of McKenzie; one brother, David Fite of Lebanon; and six grandchildren.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge.

JAMES DAVID MORGAN
1949-2007
HUNTINGDON - James David Morgan, 58, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida , formerly of Huntingdon, passed away Monday December 24, at Cape Coral Hospital in Florida. Funeral services were Saturday, December 29, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Rev. Dossie Morgan officiating. Burial followed in Palmer Shelter cemetery .
Mr. Morgan was born June 20, 1949 in Huntingdon to the late Joseph Shaver Morgan and Alta (Ashby) Morgan.
Survivors include: one brother, Joe Morgan of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and two sisters, Glenda Bernal of Beaumont, Texas and Alta Faye Morgan of Paris.

BENNY RAY PARK
1934-2007
HOLLOW ROCK - Benny Ray Park, 73, died Wednesday December 26, at Camden General Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, December 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Ministries with Bro. Bobby Jordan officiating. Burial followed at Prospect cemetery.
Mr. Park was born April 19, 1934 in Carroll County to the late Glen Park and Othera (Cole) Park. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a barber, a member of the police force, a bus driver, farmer and a member of the Solid Rock Ministries.
Survivors include: his wife of 51 years, Patsy (Smith) Park; one daughter, Natalie (Terry) Wade of Paris; two sons, Samuel K. (Sherry) Park of Big Sandy, Ron R. Park of Paris; and two sisters, Patsy King of Hollow Rock and Dorothy Robinson of Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

PATSY LYNN WATSON
1957-2007
ARKANSAS: Patsy Lynn Watson, 50, formerly of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, December 18 at her daughter's residence in Arkansas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church at 843 Stonewall Street in McKenzie with Pastor Dan Grisham officiating.
Ms. Watson was a long time resident of Gadsden, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Watson; two brothers, James Watson and Kenneth Watson.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jennifer (Rev. Brian) Davis of Albertville, Alabama and Stephanie (Dick) Wessels of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her mother, Ellen Watson of Huntingdon; two brothers, Tommy (Shannon) Watson and Tim Watson; two sisters, Cathey Bright and Pam Sheltis; and two grandchildren.

JIM RIVERS
1924-2007
HUNTINGDON - Jim Rivers, 83, died Wednesday, December 26, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Huntingdon. Funeral services were Sunday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. J. Emerson officiating. Burial followed at Hopewell cemetery. Bro. J. Emerson will officiate the service.
Mr. Rivers was born January 30, 1924 in Yuma to the late Joe Rivers and Rolie (Taylor) Rivers. He worked for the maintenance department for the town of Huntingdon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Wilma Harris; four brothers, Larmon Rivers, John Rivers, Willie B. Rivers, and Charles Rivers; and five sisters, Jettie B. Butler, Nell Bailey, Dimper Weathers, Lessie Rivers, and Willie Mae McCaniey.
Survivors include: one daughter, Roxie Myles; four sons, Willie Ray Harris, Thomas Augustus Harris, Jerry Lewis Harris, and Clarence Harris; five sisters, Robena Hart, Janie Rivers, Norma Mebane, Voila Rivers and Frances Gooch; one brother, Roy Lee Harris; and a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ronald "Ronnie" Larry Gallimore
1947-2007
DRESDEN - Ronald "Ronnie" Larry Gallimore, 60, died Wednesday, December 19, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services were Saturday, December 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel in Gleason with Rev. Donald Doster officiating. Burial followed in Sunset cemetery in Dresden.
Mr. Gallimore was a maintenance worker for the Weakley County Board of Education and a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. He was born June 23, 1947 in Dresden to the late Herchell and Lela Roberts Gallimore. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy Boane, Linda Spain, and Paula Arnold.
Survivors include: two brothers, Gerry (Kay) Gallimore of Dresden and Terry (Jana) Gallimore of Dresden.

JOE BAILEY
1931-2007
HUNTINGDON - Joe Neal Bailey, 76, died Saturday, December 29, at St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, December 31, 11 a.m. at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiating. Burial followed in McAuley cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born December 23, 1931 to the late Arden and Tessie Nordin Bailey. He was former owner and operator of Bailey Electric, a member of the Tennessee National Guard and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma "Tina" Bailey, and his first wife, Carolyn Sue Bailey,
Survivors include: three sons, Mike (Donna) Bailey of Huntingdon, Ken (Linda) Bailey of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jeff (Deanna) Bailey of Huntingdon; one stepdaughter, Debbie (James) Churchwell of Huntingdon; one stepson, Lynn Blackwell of Huntingdon; one sister, Jane (Wayne) Jackson of Hermitage; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seven stepgrandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund and American Cancer Society.

I Z MURPHY
1930-2007
HUNTINGDON - I Z Murphy, 77, died Thursday, December 27, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, at New Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the New Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. C. William Jones, Jr., son-in-law and pastor of Lexington First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington, officiated and Bro. Dewayne Thomas conducted the graveside service.
Mrs. Murphy was born May 12, 1930 in Dresden to the late John Henry and Vizzie Bell (McDaniel) Matheny. She was raised in the Joy Springs/West Union Community in Weakley County and was a homemaker and a member of the New Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Murphy; one grandson, Jason Wayne Baker; three brothers, G.W. Matheny, Ralph Matheny and Ernest Matheny; and four sisters, Johnnie Lou Hopper, A.V. Matheny and twin sisters, Aubrey and Bonnie.
Survivors include: two daughters, Patsy Darlene Baker of McLemoresville and Patricia Ann Freeland (C. William) Jones of Lexington; four grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the New Crossroads cemetery Fund, Attn: Mr. Palmer, New Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church, Huntingdon, TN 38344.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

JOHN L. WILLIAMS
1928-2008
HUNTINGDON - John L Williams, 80, died Friday, May 9, at his home. Funeral services were Monday, May 12, at 10 a.m. at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Williams was born February 20, 1928 in Carroll County to the late E. M. Clark and Grace (Burke) Williams. He was former District Attorney General of the 24th Judicial District and a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Everett Williams; and three brothers, Allen Williams, Billy Williams and Dallas Williams.
Survivors include: two sons, Judge John Everett Williams and Robert Clark "Bob" (Donna) Williams, both of Huntingdon; and three grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

JAMES WILLIAM BLAYLOCK
1918-2008
TREZEVANT - James William Blaylock, 89, died Sunday, May 11, at his son's home. Funeral services are Wednesday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home, Trezevant. Burial will follow in Oak Grove cemetery, Trezevant.
Mr. Blaylock was born August 13, 1918 near the Campground Community to the late James S. and Johnnie Ruth Longworth Blaylock. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Trezevant; WW II Army veteran; a member of the American Legion; retired from Milan Arsenal Quality Assurance Department and a local farmer and produce seller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Marie Blaylock.
Survivors include: one son, Bobby (Nancy) Blaylock, Sr. of Trezevant; one sister, Mary Campbell of Trezevant; one brother, Paul Blaylock of South Fulton; and two grandsons, Bobby Blaylock, Jr. and John (Livia) Blaylock.

VIRGINIA RUTH MCCLERKING
1935-2008
WILDERSVILLE - Virginia Ruth McClerking, 73, died Sunday, May 11, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services are Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at the Bible Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. McClerking was born January 1, 1935 in Perry County to the late Fred Dixon and Jimmie Mae (Barber) Dixon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Matthew McClerking; one son, James McClerking, Jr.; one daughter, Patsy Taylor; and two brothers, Willie Dixon and Ray Dixon.
Survivors include: four daughters, Bettina McClerking and Brenda (George) Scott, both of Wildersville, Karen McClerking of Nashville, and Judy (Steve) Booker of Jackson; three sons, Danny (Vanessa) McClerking and Timothy (Tracey) McClerking, both of Wildersville, and Charlie (Joyce) McClerking of Huntingdon; one sister, Clara Neil Pettigrew of Parsons; three brothers, James (Shirley) Dixon, Joe (Kathleen) Dixon, and Lee Roy Dixon, all of Springfield, Illinois; 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

THOMAS B. JOHNSON
1959 - 2008
CEDAR GROVE - Thomas B. Johnson, 48, died Thursday, May 8, at his home. Funeral services were Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Johnson and Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Burial followed in New Liberty cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born November 11, 1959 in Opealika, Alabama. He was a fork lift operator for Milan Arsenal and a Deacon and song leader for New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Bennie Johnson.
Survivors include: his wife, Cindy Johnson; his mother, Melba Johnson of Huntingdon; one daughter, Kimberly (Allen) Maness of Darden; one son, Brian (Jenna) Johnson of White House; one brother, David (Christy) Johnson of Lewisburg; and three grandchildren.
