Pearl Reynolds
McKENZIE - Mrs. Pearl Reynolds, 92, died Thursday, June 7 at the Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 9 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry, with Brother Jim Roberson officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds was born February 25, 1909, in Carroll County, to the late William and Molly Reynolds Horn. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Reynolds; a daughter, Evelyn Parker and a son, Billy Reynolds.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Slaughter of McKenzie and Shirley Wright of Sunset, Texas; one sister, Ruth Cozart of McKenzie; two brothers, Robert Horn of Henderson and Roy Horn of Paris; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Herbert S. Dye
ECRU, MISSISSIPPI: Services for Herbert S. Dye, 90, were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Dye, a retired farmer, died of cancer on Saturday, June 9 at his home.
He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and a World War II Army Veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Jackson of McKenzie; two sisters, Irma Dillard of Mathiston, Mississippi and Merna Armstrong of Memphis; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Morris Pinson
TREZEVANT - Morris Pinson, 77, died Monday, June 11 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. Arrangements were incomplete. For more information, call Brummitt Funeral Home at (731) 669-3871.

Dr. William T. Ingram, Jr.
MEMPHIS - Services for Dr. William T. Ingram, Jr., 88, were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19 at East Side Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Memphis. Burial was at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church cemetery in McKenzie.
Dr. Ingram, a retired minister, died on Tuesday, July 17 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis of heart disease. He was an ordained Cumberland Presbyterian minister, who pastored many churches in Texas and Tennessee. He was President Emeritus of the Memphis Theological Seminary in Memphis; taught at Bethel College in McKenzie and the Memphis Theological Seminary; served as chaplain in the army in World War II, retiring as a colonel in the Army Reserve and was a member and president of East Memphis Civitan Club. His wife, Virginia Howell Ingram, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, William T. Ingram, III of Rolla, Missouri and John H. Ingram of Memphis; a brother, Lyman E. Ingram of Dyersburg; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Memphis Theological Seminary or Bethel College.

Georgia G. Pentecost
McKENZIE - Services for Georgia G. Pentecost, 94, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24 at Brummitt Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Pentecost, widow of Guy Pentecost, died Sunday afternoon July 22 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
She was born April 20, 1907 in McKenzie to the late Bertha Childress Aylor and George Aylor. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Erler of McKenzie; a brother, J. P. Aylor of Selmer and two grandchildren.

Bennie Buntin, Jr.
PALMERSVILLE: Services for Bennie Buntin, Jr., 75, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18 at Gallimore Funeral Home.Burial was in New Hope cemetery.
Mr. Buntin, retired from Holly Carburetor Plant, died Monday, July 16 at Methodist Volunteer Hospital of heart failure. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Denison and Donna Pratt, both of McKenzie; a son, Bryan Buntin of Palmersville; five sisters, Marjorie Floyd, Jessie Boothe and Patty Crutchfield, all of Gleason, Jane Rawls of Martin and Jo Lou Sneed of Memphis; a brother, Bob Buntin of Manistee, Michigan; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Briany Wilbanks
GLEASON - Services for Briany May Wilbanks, 67, were at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 23 at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial was in Olive Branch cemetery in Como.
Mrs. Wilbanks, a housewife and farmer, died Saturday, July 21 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Jackson of heart disease.
She was born in Perry County to the late Clearence and Luccille Mealer Armstrong. She was a member of Como Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Joe D. Wilbanks; two sons, Jesse Wilbanks of Gleason and David Wilbanks of Obion County; a sister, Mary Mageline Staggs of Ore Springs; two brothers, Robert A. Armstrong of Gleason and Wiley L. Armstrong of Dresden; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John Thomas Russell
TREZEVANT - Services for John Thomas Russell, 86, were at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, at Republican Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Beal and Bro. Paul "Bud" Merwin officiating. Burial was in Republican Grove cemetery.
Mr. Russell, a retired carpenter and farmer, died Thursday, July 19 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
He was born May 5, 1915 in Camden to the late Pearl Smith Terry Russell and Dee Witt Russell. He was a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church in Trezevant and Leawood Baptist Church in Memphis.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Russell of Memphis; a sister, Inez Tubbs of Big Sandy; two brothers, Fred Russell and Ruthford Russell, both of Camden; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Eliza Conley.
Brummitt Funeral Home and Roller Family Funeral Home in Memphis were in charge of the arrangements.

Randy Bell
1962-2002
HOLLOW ROCK - Mr. Randy Bell, 40, died Saturday, August 3 at his home. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Sunday, August 4 at 5:00 p.m. at the Marlboro cemetery with Brother Montie Gammill officiating.
Mr. Bell was born April 16, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Hurbert Lewis and Joyce Fay Jackson Bell.
Survivors include one brother, Gilbert Bell of Hollow Rock; three stepchildren, Kellie Krypciak, John Krypciak and Logan Krypciak; and several nieces and nephews.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ophie Bush Chandler
1915-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Ophie Bush Chandler, 86, were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3 at First Baptist Church with burial in Union Academy cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler, who was a retired postmaster at McLemoresville and a salesclerk, died on Wednesday, July 31 at National Health Care Center.
She was born December 1, 1915 in McKenzie to the late Robert Bush and Gertrude Mann Bush. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Chandler; a son, Phil Chandler of Hendersonville; two sisters, Evora Bryant and Irene Barker, both of McKenzie two Brothers, Austin Bush and Billy Ray Bush, both of McKenzie and two grandchildren.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Huey
1925-2002
CEDAR GROVE - Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Huey, 77, were Thursday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Pafford Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Cedar Grove.
Mrs. Huey, a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 30 at Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah. She was a member of Ridge Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Mr. Bobby Huey of Lexington and Mr. Gerald Huey of Cedar Grove, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Her husband, Lonnie Odell Huey preceded her in death.

Jerry Wayne Coffman
1956-2002
ATWOOD - Services for Jerry Wayne Coffman, 46, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6 at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Zion cemetery near Medina.
Mr. Coffman, a retired plumber, died Sunday, August 4 at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare in Jackson. He was a member of the Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Burnine Coffman; a daughter, Stacy Michelle Coffman of Atwood; a son, Michael Wayne Coffman of Atwood; his parents, W.B. Coffman and Ruby Roe Coffman of Milan; three sisters, Kay Smith of Union City, Rita Daniels of Trenton and Patricia Coffman of Milan; three brothers, William Coffman, Terry Coffman and David Coffman, all of Milan and one granddaughter.

Abbie Jean Kelly Price
1937-2002
McKENZIE - Abbie Jean Kelly Price, 64, died Saturday, August 3 at Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center in Huntingdon.
She was born October 1, 1937 to the late Abbie Loyd Price and Nuga Alvalona McDonnald Price. She was a member of Johnson Temple CME Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include a son, Ricky Price; a brother, Allen Price, both of McKenzie; two sisters, Wilette O'Neal of Chicago, Illinois; Opheia Hammer of McKenzie; and a grandson.
Two sisters, Othelia Snead and Novella Price and a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Price preceded her in death.
Services will be held at the Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie on Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Wilmor Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Granville Maness
1935-2002
BUENA VISTA - Services for Granville Maness, 66, were at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1 at Nebo Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Maness and Rev. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial was in the McCauley cemetery.
Mr. Maness died on Tuesday, July 30 near his home.
He was born November 10, 1935 in Henderson County to the late Oscar and Ollie Dee Maness.
Survivors include his wife, Innetta Maness; two daughters, Kay Ellis and Jada Maness, both of Buena Vista; three sons, Danny Maness of Bruceton and Dwayne Maness and Scott Maness, both of Buena Vista; four sisters, Edna Woods of Lexington, Eva Noles, Doris Noles and Bonnie Thompson, all of Buena Vista; a brother, Onnied Maness of Lexington; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Josephine (in 1980); a sister, Alphis Davis and three brothers, Dennis Maness, Junior Maness and Agie Lee Maness, preceded him in death.
