Dorothy Harris Sullivan
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Dorothy Sullivan died Monday, October 8 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete at presstime. Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Melba Oneda Stepp
CAMDEN - Services for Melba Oneda Stepp, 80, were Thursday, October 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden. Burial was in Sandy Point cemetery in Camden. Mrs. Stepp died Tuesday, October 2 at Camden General Hospital.
Surviving are daughters, Faye Hall and Gail Hubbs, both of Camden and Sue Smotherman of St. John, Indiana; a son, Troy Stepp, Jr. of Nashville; a sister, Lawanna Wood of Paragould, Arkansas and brothers, Onea Douglas of Bruceton and O.J. Douglas and Ray Douglas, both of Camden.
Her husband, Troy Stepp, preceded her in death.

Athala S. Brawner
GLEASON - Services for Athala Brawner, 76, were at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4 at Gallimore Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Pinnell officiating. Burial was in Everetts Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Brawner, widow of Ralph Berryhill Brawner, died Monday at her home in E. Pointe, Michigan of heart failure.
She was born November 23, 1924 in Union City to the late J. H. and Myrtle Petty Clayborn.
Survivors include a son, Bradley Brawner of McComb, Michigan; a sister, Carolyn Luttrell of Memphis and two grandchildren.

Mildred Mary Leaver
McKENZIE - Graveside services for Mildred Mary Leaver, 83 were Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Salem cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Leaver, retired nursing home assistant, died Wednesday afternoon, October 3, at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
She was born June 17, 1917 in McKenzie to the late Maggie Mae Campbell Leaver and Eddie Lester Leaver. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Virginia Hankins
GREENFIELD - Services for Virginia Hankins, 82, were at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23 at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Interment icon was in the Walker cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Mrs. Hankins died Friday, June 21 at her residence in Greenfield.
She was born June 29, 1920 to the late Henry A. McClure and Lillie Hale McClure.
Survivors include five sons, Herman S. "Smitty" Carter of McKenzie, Robert G. Thompson of Paris, Richard H. Buckley of Bartlett, Walton Buckley of Greenfield and Paul G. Hankins of Ripley; a sister, Kathleen Garner of Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers, H.A. "Jay" McClure of Denver, Colorado and Tim McClure of Knoxville; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, O.C. Hankins and two brothers, Joseph E. McClure, Sr. and Garbo McClure preceded her in death.

Robert Cleatus Orr, Jr.
McKENZIE - Funeral services for Robert Cleatus Orr, Jr., 83, were held Wednesday, June 19 at Roberts Funeral Home in Rutherford. Burial took place at the City cemetery in Rutherford.
Mr. Orr died Monday, June 17 at the Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. He was a member of the Baptist Church. His occupation was a live stock dealer.
His mother, Mary Orr, his father, Robert Cleatus Orr, Sr. and his wife, Vernell Orr preceded him in death.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Clifford Orr of Phoenix, Arizona; his ex-wife Hazel J. Orr, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Thomas Winston Clark
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Thomas Winston Clark, 89, died Friday, June 21 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, June 23 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Burton officiating. Interment icon followed at the Gibson County Memory Garden.
Mr. Clark was born January 20, 1913 in Virginia to the late William Lord and Ollie Bush Clark. He was a retired employee of Great Lake Steel. His wife, Beatrice Irene Clark, who passed away in 1986 and a great-grandson, Thomas Lee Childers, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Childers of Huntingdon and Juanita Petty of Blue Ridge, Georgia; one son, Samuel Ted Clark of Trenton, Michigan; one brother, Robert Clark of Big Stone Cap, Virginia; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Viva D. Bolen
YUMA - Miss Viva D. Bolen, 86, died Wednesday, June 19 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, June 21 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Andy White officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Miss Bolen was born December 21, 1915 in Carroll County to the late James Dan and Mittie Hollowell Bolen. She was a retired beautician for Wyatt's Beauty Shop and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Two sisters, Burline Gooch and Evojean Edwards, and a great-nephew preceded her in death.
Survivors include a niece, three nephews; two great-nieces and a great nephew.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

James Harold Perritt
McKENZIE - James Harold Perritt, 52, died Monday, June 17 at his residence in McKenzie. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 19 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Donald Doster and Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial followed in Chapel Hill cemetery near McKenzie.
Mr. Perritt, the son of Harrell Perritt and Gertie Scott Perritt of McKenzie, was born April 15, 1950 in McKenzie. He was a lineman for Carroll County Electrical Department. His brother, Stanley Ray Perritt preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Perritt; one daughter, Becki Johnson of McKenzie; one son, Curt Perritt of Dresden; one sister, Sandra Hawkins of McKenzie and a grandson, Brian Chase Perritt.

Harold Eugene Carter
McKENZIE - Memorial services for Harold Eugene Carter, 67, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15 at First United Methodist Church in McLemoresville with the Rev. John Pugh officiating. Mr. Carter died Thursday, June 13 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born October 3, 1934 in McLemoresville to the late Edwin Carter and Ruth Yarbrough Carter. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Dirk Carter of Dallas, Texas and a brother, Jim Carter of Milan.
Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan was in charge of the arrangements.

Fred Eugene Winston
McKENZIE - Services for Fred Eugene Winston, 76, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial will be in Bevill cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Winston, a retired barber, died Monday morning, October 8 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born June 17, 1925 in Paris to the late Fred Herbert Winston and Olga Page Winston. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in McKenzie and a Mason.
He leaves his wife Anne Mae Adams Winston.
Brummitt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary Jane Moore
McKENZIE - Memorial services for Mary Jane Moore, 58, will be held Wednesday, October 10 at Brummitt Funeral Home. The body was cremated.
Mrs. Moore, a retired teacher, died Saturday, October 6 at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie.
She was born January 26, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ruby Gaston Boyd and Lee Clifton Boyd. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Michelle Moore Barker of Lugoff, South Carolina; a son, James Edward Moore of Vilseck, Germany; two brothers, James Wray Boyd of McKenzie and Jeffrey Michael Boyd of Derwood, Maryland and three grandchildren.

Andrew Anderson
McKENZIE - Services for Andrew Anderson were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26, at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie. John Pugh, Methodist minister, officiated the service.
Mr. Anderson, 95, died Saturday morning, November 24, at the Methodist Healthcare Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born November 12, 1906, in Mt. Vernon, New York. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles E. Anderson and Ellie Riley Anderson, and four sisters and one brother.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hazel Holland Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of McKenzie. He was a native New Yorker and he and Mrs. Anderson moved to McKenzie in 1996, where they could be near her people, the Kermit and Paul Holland families. Mr. Anderson retired several years ago from Gravure Photo Engravers of New York. He was a veteran of World War II where he served from August 1942, until November 1945. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant and served in General George S. Patton's 3rd Army in Europe.

Hazel Holland Anderson
1909-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Hazel Holland Anderson, 93, were at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 13 at Brummitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Harrell Nation officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson, widow of Andrew Anderson, died on Wednesday, September 11 at McKenzie Health Care Center.
She was born August 15, 1909 in McKenzie to the late Nettie Thomas Holland and Hays Holland. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Louise Johnson of Chattanooga and a brother, Kermit Holland of McKenzie.
Two sisters, Anne Waggoner and Mary Jane Warmack and a brother, Paul Holland also preceded her in death.
