Willie "Bill" Floyd Heath
1902-2002
GLEASON - Services for Willie "Bill" Floyd Heath, 100, will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23 at Gallimore Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Heath, a retired merchandiser/salesman, died on Monday, October 21 at McKenzie Health Care Center.
He was born on August 28, 1902 to the late Harmon and Lillie Jones Heath. His wife, Edna M. Heath also preceded him in death. He was a member of Gleason First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Heath Russell of McKenzie, two step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.

Edward Glover
1932-2002
ATWOOD - Services for Edward Glover, 70, were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 16 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Pisgah cemetery. Mr. Glover, a retired farmer, died on Saturday, September 14 at N.H.C. Healthcare.
He was a member of the Atwood Cumberland Presbyterian Church and formerly served as Mayor of Atwood. He is the widower of Margaret Ann Glover.
Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Carroll and Gloria Glover, both of Atwood; a sister, Sarah Umstead of McKenzie and a brother, Joe T. Glover of Atwood.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mary Alice Reed
1916-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Mary Alice Reed, 86, were at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Burial was in Everett's Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Reed, widow of James Olen Reed, died on Thursday, September 12 at McKenzie Health Care Center. She was a member of the Blooming Grove Methodist Church.
She was born May 8, 1916 in Gleason to the late Annie S. Courtright and Thomas (Tom) H. Courtright.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Reed of McKenzie and Harold Reed of Rock Springs, Georgia; two grandchildren, Kevin Reed and Timothy Reed and three great-great-grandchildren, Whitney Reed, Darby Reed and Olen Ty Reed.

Edna M. Heath
1907-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Edna M. Heath, 94, were at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17 at Gallimore Funeral Home in Gleason with Rev. Don Bullock officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Heath, a homemaker, died Sunday, September 15 at McKenzie Health Care Center.
She was born September 18, 1907 in Dresden to the late Charles Wesley and Bonnie Swain Bullock. She was a member of the Gleason First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bill Heath; a daughter, Suzanne Russell of McKenzie; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Diane Barker Wall
1953-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Diane Barker Wall, 49, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 13 at the Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial was in the Poplar Springs cemetery.
Mrs. Wall, a retired dental assistant, died Wednesday, September 11 at her home.
She was born March 13, 1953 in McKenzie to Sarah Lorene Pratt Barker and the late James Carroll Barker. She was a member of the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Cedar Grove.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Wall; a daughter, Tara Maupin Allen, both of McKenzie; her mother, Lorene Pratt Barker of Trezevant; and two granddaughters.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.

Lauzette Cook Pryor
1922-2002
TREZEVANT - Services for Lauzette Cook Pryor,79, were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 16 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with the Rev. Malcolm Norton officiating. Burial was in Shiloh cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Pryor died on Friday, September 13 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
She was born on October 20, 1022 in Greenfield to the late Mary Katherine Stem Cook and Johnny Cook. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Her husband, G.W. Pryor, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Clondous of Fayetteville; a son, Duante Pryor of Paris; four brothers, Larry Cook and Bobby Cook, both of McKenzie; Stanley Cook of Huntingdon and James Cook of Holt Michigan; four grandchildren, Russell Pryor of Trezevant, Shawna Poole and Keisha Weatherly, both of Fayetteville and Chuck Hall of Paris; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Pryor of McKenzie, Caylee Hall of Camden and McKenzie Poole of Fayetteville.

Effie Elizabeth Miller
1912-2002
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Miller, 89, died on Friday, September 13 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Ward and Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Interment icon followed in the Sellers Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was born November 12, 1912 in Carroll County to the late John Warren Ringold and Ada Lewis Ringold. She was a member of the Sandy Point General Baptist Church and retired as the owner of Miller Supermarket. Her husband of 68 years, Albert F. Miller; five brothers, Vester Ringold, John Ringold, Jim Ringold, Luther Ringold, and Alton Ringold and a sister, Beulah Tosh all preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Moody; two sons, Jimmie Miller and Harold Ray Miller, all of Huntingdon; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Frank Joseph Swift
1916-2002
HOLLOW ROCK - Mr. Frank Joseph Swift, 85, died Saturday, September 14 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The body was cremated.
Mr. Swift was born December 17, 1916 in Scarton, Pennsylvania to the late Stanley and Antoinette Rafacz Szaflairski. He was a retired building engineer for the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Swift; two stepsons, Victor Stephen Hemphill, Jr. of Concord, California and John Howard Hemphill of Goldsboro, North Carolina and a sister, Helen Palke of Hollow Rock.
Memorials may be sent to the Hollow Rock VFW or Salvation Army.
Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Grover Woodard
1918-2002
BOONEVILLE, MISSISSIPPI: Grover Laverne Woodard, 83, died on Tuesday, August 13 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born October 4, 1918 in Henry, the son of Grover Mason Woodard and Ethel Lawrence Woodard. He had been a Booneville resident for the past 20 years. He was a retired truck driver, and a Baptist. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW in McKenzie.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 15 at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Graveside services and burial were at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15 in the Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie with Rev. Kenny Carr officiating.
Survivors include three daughters, Bette Moore of Marianna, Florida, Toni Horn of Booneville and Jo Jacobs of Hoisington, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Paula Acker of Germany, Sarah Pope of Bossier City, Louisiana, Shane Melton, Shannon Reeves, Melissa Reeder, all of McKenzie, Martha Schepmann of Smithville, Texas and Dotti Owens of Booneville; three step-grandchildren, Larry Horn of Havelock, North Carolina and Brian Horn and Roger Horn of Booneville; nine great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
His wife, Dorothy Provost Woodard; his parents and a sister, Imogene Woodard preceded him in death.

Margaret Helen Clutter
1930-2002
CARROLL COUNTY: Mrs. Margaret Helen Clutter, 71, died on Friday, September 13. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernice Birdwell and Rev. Steve Albonette officiating. Interment icon followed in the Eudora cemetery in Eudora, Mississippi at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Mrs. Clutter, the daughter of the late Autry Fermen and Minnie Lee Robinson Jordan, was born December 30, 1930 in Carroll County. She was a homemaker, a businesswoman, and a member of the Baptist Church. Her husband, Donald Clutter, who died on October 8, 2000, a brother, William Jordan and a sister, Lois Nicholas also preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, James Goodwin of Buena Vista, Rickey Allen of Tennessee, Terrance Allen of Clarksville, and Robert Privette of Fruitvale, one daughter, Vickie Kraft of Inwood, West Virginia; three sisters, Ludie Box of Waverly, Gaye Allen of Sedalia, Kentucky and Lucille Williams of Hollow Rock; one brother, John O'Neal Jordan of Eudora, Mississippi; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Ray Gillow
Ken Gillow, a long time former resident of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away at his home in Vancouver, Washington, August 29, 2002. Ken was born September 21, 1926, in Lansing, Michigan. In 1949, Ken and his wife, Francene, moved their family to Juneau, Alaska, later relocating to the Matanuska Valley in 1961. Ken and family homesteaded for many years off Hollywood and Vine Road outside Wasilla. Ken opened his first plumbing store in Wasilla in 1961, where for many years he did contracting along with running a retail plumbing store. Ken retired from the business in 1991 and moved to Vancouver, Washington, where he remained until his passing. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Gillow and Lanora Lewis Gillow; his wife of 42 years Francene Smithson Gillow, and sister Betty Gillow Kelly.
Ken is survived by one sister, Theola Gillow Sherman of Lake City, Michigan; sons, Kenneth C. Gillow of Tokyo, Japan, Timothy G. Gillow of Wasilla, Alaska; daughter, Pamela R. Gillow of Vancouver, Washington; and grandsons Shawn Carney of Fairbanks, Alaska, Joshua and Christopher Gillow of Wasilla, Alaska, and Jason Pabillano of Vancouver, Washington; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Smithson Griffin and Helen Smithson of Greenfield.
Memorial services were held for Mr. Gillow on Saturday, September 14, 2002, at the Wasilla Assembly of God Church at 2:00 p.m.
As Mr. Gillow was always involved with his grandson's sports, the family asks the memorials be sent to the - Fort Vancouver Booster Club, 5700 E. 18th Street, Vancouver, Washington 98661.

Bobbie Lois Biggart
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Bobbie Lois Biggart, 69, died Saturday, November 24, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 27, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment icon followed in the Carter's Chapel cemetery. Bro. Bob Scott and Bro. Earl Thomas officiated the service.
Mrs. Biggart was born December 1, 1931 in Carroll County to the late Joe and Susie Whitaker Baker. She was a member of the House of Worship Church and a housewife. Her husband, Ted Biggart, also preceded her in death on December 18, 2000.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita (Jimmy) Pruett of Huntingdon; one brother, Gordon Baker of Cedar Grove; one granddaughter, April D'Vorak; and two great-granddaughters, Rebecca D'Vorak and Hailey D'Vorak, all of Wilmington, IL.

Mattie P. Pruitt
McKENZIE - Services for Mattie P. Pruitt, 90, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morris officiating. Burial was in Enon cemetery.
Mrs. Pruitt died Monday, November 19 at her daughter's residence.
She was born November 11, 1911 in Trezevant to the late Bert Black Pearson and General Pearson. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lee Ellis of Clarksville and Margie Davis of Huntingdon; a half-sister, Sadie Lee of McKenzie; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Graden Pruitt, and three sons, Edward Pruitt, Marvin Pruitt and Harold Pruitt preceded her in death.
