Carlos A. Eskew
CLARKSBURG - Mr. Carlos A. Eskew, 86, died Sunday, November 11 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 14 at the Long Rock Methodist Church with Reverend Wayne Holmes officiating. Interment icon will follow n the church cemetery.
Mr. Eskew was born July 15, 1915 to the late David and Bessie Dill Eskew in Carroll County. He was owner of Eskew Automotive consultants and a member of Long Rock Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Aline Pugh Eskew; a son, William Eskew of Grapevine, Texas; two daughters, Janet Whitbourne of Memphis and Katheryn Holt of Clemmons, North Carolina; two brothers, James Eskew and Ray Eskew, both of Huntingdon; three sisters, Leona Chandler and Ruth Bennett, both of Huntingdon and Estelle Rosser of Clarksburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Lena J. Allison
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Lena J. Allison, 90, died Monday, November 12 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 14 at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Martin Klamm officiating. Interment icon will follow at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Allison was born July 4, 1911 to the late Clint and Jennie Able Hazlewood in Uptonville, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. W. Allison, who died in 1986 and one son, James Robert Allison.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha Crider of Huntingdon; two sons, Charles Allison of Milan and Kenneth Allison of Memphis; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Agnes M. DeMoss
McKENZIE - Mrs. Agnes M. DeMoss, 85, died Wednesday, June 27 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Carter and Bro. Phillip Halters officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. DeMoss was born September 14, 1915 in McKenzie to the late Bruce Brown and Maggie Mae (Deck) Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Henry DeMoss; one son, Bobby A. DeMoss; one brother, Vernice B. Montgomery and one sister, Ora F. Chandler.
She is survived by one son, Gary I. DeMoss of Tucson, Arizona; three daughters, Myra S. Reeves of McKenzie, Debra M. Scott of Maryville and Marketta C. Hudson of Louisville; one sister, Maggie Mildred McAdoo of McKenzie; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

James Robert Cunningham
McKENZIE - Services for James Robert Cunningham, 45, were at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Bro. Bob Copeland officiating. Interment icon followed in the Wilder cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Cunningham, a millwright, was pronouced dead at McKenzie Methodist Hospital on Monday, July 2.
He was born November 15, 1955 in Trenton, Michigan to the late Roma Lee Henthorne Cunningham and Alfred Cunningham, who survives.
He is also survived by two daughters and a son, Lisa Cunningham and Teresa Marie Cunningham, and James Robert Cunningham II, all of Trenton, Michigan; two sisters, Denise Crews and Darlene Lanham, both of McKenzie; two brothers, Richard Cunningham of McKenzie and David Lee Cunningham of Trezevant; and two grandchildren.

Martha Andrews Rochelle Blow
TREZEVANT - Services for Martha Andrews Rochelle Blow, 86, were at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 at Brummitt Funeral Home. Interment icon followed at the McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Blow, a former owner of City Cafe in Trezevant and retired from HIS, died Tuesday, July 4 at NHC Healthcare in Dickson of heart failure. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Trezevant.
She was born October 23, 1914 in Trezevant to the late Erma Argo and Byron Rochelle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Blow.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Dorothy R. Scott
TREZEVANT - Services for Dorothy R. Scott, 75, were at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 6 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant. Interment icon followed in Trezevant cemetery.
Mrs. Scott, a retired factory worker, died Tuesday, July 3 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis of heart failure. She was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ.
She was born November 4, 1925 in Huntingdon to the late Sammy Doris Reed and George Martin Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Scott; one daughter, Brenda K. Harrison of Memphis; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Elease Jordan
BRUCETON - Services for Elease Cook Jordan, 80, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. Arzell Douglas officiating. Order of the Eastern Star rites were held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 9 in the chapel. Burial was in Crossroads cemetery in Benton County.
Mrs. Jordan, a retired seamstress for Henry I. Siegel Co., died Saturday, July 7 at Life Care Center in Bruceton of cancer.
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Adah Chapter $314.
Survivors include two sons, Denton R. Jordan of Bruceton and Rick W. Jordan of Hollow Rock; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Woodrow Jordan, preceded her in death.

Lucille Carden
GLEASON - Services for Lucille Alma Carden, 87, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8 at Gallimore Funeral Home. Burial was in Hopewell cemetery.
Mrs. Carden, a retired data processor, died Thursday, July 5 at Hillview Nursing Home of heart failure. She was a member of Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a brother, Harold Johnson of Gleason; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carden.

Marjorie Sowder
McLEMORESVILLE - Services for Marjorie Upchurch Sowder, 54, were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Sewell Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Burial was in Memorial Hills cemetery in Albany.
Mrs. Sowder, a teacher at West Carroll Special School District, died Thursday, July 5, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure.
Survivors include four children, Erik, Rachel, Weston and Melissa Sowder, all of Jackson; two sisters, Susan Maupin of Albany, Kentucky and Rachel Owens of Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Marjorie Sowder Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Carroll Bank & Trust, P. O. Box 189, McLemoresville, TN 38235.
A local memorial service will be hled at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11 at the Lavinia Baptist Church.

Clyde Weldon Lowry
CAMDEN - Mr. Clyde Weldon (Swamp Rabbit) Lowry, 69, died on Monday, July 2 at his residence in Camden. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 at the Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden with Bro. Lloyd Rich officiating. Interment icon was in the Camden City cemetery.
A retired taxicab owner and operator, a Mason and veteran of the United States Army, he died on Monday, July 2.
Mr. Lowry was born on August 6, 1931 in Benton County to the late Clyde Lowry and Ora Ballard Lowry.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Massey Lowry, formerly of Carroll County; three daughters, Sharon Beabout and Teresa Lowry, both of Columbus, Indiana and Heather Ragsdale of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons Mark Lowry of Columbus, Indiana and Bobby Craig, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Benny (Sack) Lowry of Camden and Sammy Lowry of Olive Branch, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Martin Blain Tines
CEDAR GROVE - Mr. Martin Blain Tines, 86, died Tuesday, July 3 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Memorial funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 5 at the Obion Chapel cemetery with Brother Bill Goodpasture officiating.
Mr. Tines was born February 28, 1915 in Carroll County to the late Tom and Beulah Agnew Tines. He was a retired farmer and bus driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Roark Tines; one son, Guy Joel Tines; two brothers, Johnny Tines and Jessie Lee Tines and a sister, Irene Sellers.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelby Broyles of Jackson; three sons, Travis Tines of Memphis, Billy Tines of Huntingdon and David Tines of Jackson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Gerald David "Buddy" Carter
McKENZIE - Mr. Gerald David "Buddy" Carter, Jr., 58 died Saturday, July 7 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, July 10 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Pinson officiating. Interment icon followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Carter was born April 15, 1943 in Carroll County. He was a welder for A. O.Smith in Milan. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald David Carter, Sr. and one granddaughter, Kirsten Bynum.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Rich Carter of Huntingdon; one daughter, Amy Carter Bynum of Huntingdon; one son, David Carter of Antioch; one sister, Janice Chandler of Camden; two brothers, Ronnie Carter of Yuma and Dwight Carter of Camden; and four grandchildren.

Adrainne Victoria O'Bryant
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Adrainne Victoria "Miss Vickie" O'Bryant, 48, died Sunday, July 1 at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Hospital in Houston, Texas. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntingdon Church of Christ with Brothers Bill Goodpasure and Daniel Askew officiating. Interment icon followed in the McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. O'Bryant was born April 6, 1953 in Memphis. She was a 1971 graduate of Harding Academy and received her Associate of Arts degree from Freed-Hardeman in 1973. She was an active member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ and a program administrator for the Carroll County Soil Conservation District.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Len O'Bryant; two sons, Nathan O'Bryant and Matthew O'Bryant, both of Huntingdon; her mother and father, Charlene and Rondle Agee of McLemoresville; two brothers, Tim Agee of Milan and Terry Agee of Memphis; and her maternal grandfather, John Wade Agee of Memphis.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Violet M. Barnes
CLARKSBURG - Mrs. Violet M. Barnes, 93, died Tuesday, July 3 at the Baptist Memorial Hospial in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Clarksburg Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Crossno officiating. Interment icon following in the Blair cemetery in Clarksburg.
Mrs. Barnes was born August 16, 1907 in Carroll County to the late Newt and Missy Wall Murphy. She was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ and a homemaker. Her husband, Ray Barnes, preceded her in death.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
