William Russell "Pete" Crawford
1940-2006
SPRINGVILLE - William Russell "Pete" Crawford, 65, died Tuesday, January 17, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 19, in the LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Larry Williams officiating. Burial followed in Walker cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Crawford was born July 13, 1940, in Nashville, to James Denver Crawford (deceased) and LaRue Simpson Crawford of Martin. He worked for Roadway Express for several years and was a member of the teamsters. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche Holt Crawford, who died in October, 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Nichols Crawford, whom he married November 14, 2005; two daughters, Pattie (Tracye) Nutting of McKenzie and Vonda Stewart (special friend Steve Cantrell) of McKenzie; a step-son Andy Jackson and fiance' Sandra Norton of Puryear; three sisters, Elaine Martin of Paris, Cherri Williams of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Katrina Cobb of Martin; one brother, James Crawford of Martin; and three grandchildren; James Russell Washburn, Ashley Marie Stewart, and Gabrielle Elizabeth Nutting.

Tommy Lee Lipscomb
1936-2006
ATWOOD - Tommy Lee Libscomb, 69, died Saturday, January 14, at his residence. A memorial service was held Saturday, January 21, at Parkers CME Church in Gibson with Sammy Hankins delivering the eulogy. Interment icon followed in Gibson County cemetery.
Mr. Lipscomb was born October 28, 1936, in Gibson, to the late John and Mattie Lipscomb. He was a member of Parkers Chapel in Gibson. During his lifetime, he lived in Detroit, Michigan; Champaign, Illinois; and Milan. He worked at Milan Army Ammunition Plant, Papa T's Place in Atwood and Terry's Northside Barbecue. Tommy was known for his cooking ability.
He is survived by two daughters, Beverly Florence and Veronica Long, both of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Tony (Andrea) Lipscomb of Detroit, Michigan; eight grandchildren; his brother, Frank Lipscomb; and loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ken Eubanks
1941-2006
BOWLING GREEN: Ken Eubanks, 65, died Tuesday, January 3, at The Medical Center. Funeral services were Friday, January 6 at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
The Jackson native was owner of Olympic Karate and House of Fitness. He was vice president of the North American Sport Karate Association, president of Regional Sport Karate Circuit and was an eighth degree black belt with years of experience teaching men, women and children. He was promoter of the Bluegrass National World Karate Championships and Bowling Green Classics Karate Championships, a Hall of Fame member and a member of Diamond Nationals, Battle of Atlanta, American Karate Association, and the U.S. Open, and won numerous other karate honors.
He was a son of the late Willie Odell Eubanks and Virginia Pillow Bowman of Cedar Grove, who survives.
Other survivors include his wife, Kim Young Eubanks; three sons, Marty (Laura) Eubanks and B.T. Webb, both of Bowling Green, and Ricky (Rhonda) Eubanks of Cedar Grove; a daughter, Heather Webb of Bowling Green; four brothers, Anthony (Jimmie) Eubanks and Terry (Pam) Eubanks, both of Cedar Grove, Mike Eubanks of Milan, and Barry (Ena) Eubanks of Gadsden; three sisters, Betty (Tom) Nelms of Griffin, Georgia, Phyllis (Tony) Cooper of Gainesville, Georgia; and Deanna (Keith) Sego of Lexington; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Frances Woody Kennon
1923-2006
HUNTINGDON - Frances Woody Kennon, 83, died Wednesday, April 19, at the Alive Hospice.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 21, in the Dilday Funeral Home East Room. Interment icon followed in the Oak Hill cemetery. Brother Steve Atwood officiated the service.
Mrs. Kennon was born February 5, 1923, in Carroll County, to the late Frank W. and Marie Parish Cequin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin J. Woody and a son, Michael W. Woody.
She is survived by her husband, Joe T. Kennon; a son, G.I. Woody of Brentwood; and a brother, Frank "Bub" Cequin of Huntingdon. She also leaves four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Moses Lee Owens
1931-2006
HENRY - Moses Lee Owens, 74, died Sunday, April 16 at the Henry County Healthcare Center, Paris. Services were conducted Thursday, April 20 at the Henry Community Apostolic Church of God. Walter McBride officiated the service and burial followed in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Owens was born October 31, 1931, in Henry, to Edd and Martha Barham Owens, both deceased.
He was married in 1961 to the former LaRuth Huffman, who died in 1995.
He leaves one sister, Eva Mai Anderson of Henry; two brother-in-laws; one sister-in-law; a special caregiver, William Haynes Jr. of Henry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ray Myers
1941-2006
HUNTINGDON - Ray Myers, 64, died Tuesday, April 18, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were conducted Thursday, April 20, at the New Prospect cemetery. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Myers was born November 29, 1941, to the late Homer Lee and Rose Lee Williams Myers. He was a cemetery caretaker.
He is survived by a brother, Rayburn Myers of Huntingdon; and an aunt, Nellie Nordan of Bruceton.

Charles David Glosson
1946-2006
YUMA - Charles David Glosson, 59, died Tuesday, April 18, at his residence.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, April 21, in the chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment icon followed in the Sellers Hill cemetery. Brother Martin Klamm and Brother Bill Crossno officiated the services.
Mr. Glosson was born August 25, 1946, in Carroll County, to the late Alvis Doss and Verdie Irene Taylor Glosson. He was an employee of Camden Casting and a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvis Glosson, Nolen Glosson, and a sister, Opal Thompson.

Jack P. "Little Jack" Jones, Jr.
1970-2002
CEDAR GROVE - Mr. Jack P. "Little Jack" Jones, Jr., 32, died Wednesday, July 24 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robert White officiating. Interment icon followed in Jamison cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born February 25, 1970 in Shelby County. He was a member of the Hollow Rock United Methodist Church. He graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1989. He was an avid Diamond Jaxx fan and he and his father were season ticket holders attending all the home games.
Survivors include his father, Jack P. Jones, Sr. of Cedar Grove and his mother, June Boyd of Westport.

Kathleen Dinwiddie Pate
1909-2002
McKENZIE - Services for Kathleen Dinwiddie Pate, 91, were at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at Greater Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. James B. Stewart officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Trinity Funeral Home in Paris was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Pate died Thursday morning, July 25 at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie.
She was born January 6, 1909 in Hico to the late Ethel Bigham and Harb Bigham. She was a member of Greater Enon Baptist Church where she served as vice-president of the Missionary Society and sang in the choir.
Survivors include three sons, James Odell Pate of McKenzie, Thomas Pate and Bobby Pate, both of Chicago, Illinois; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, R.B. "Scrap" Pate and a daughter, Gladys "Gya" Patton, preceded her in death.

Jimmy Dale Reynolds
1950-2002
GLEASON - Services for Jimmy Dale Reynolds, 52, were Saturday, July 27 at Beech Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Copeland officiating. Burial was in Beech Springs cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds, an employee at CSI, died Wednesday, July 24 at his home.
He was born March 29, 1950 in Milan. He attended Beech Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharle Ann Breitkreutz Reynolds; a daughter, Cloria Ann Reynolds of Gleason, his parents, Emmitt A. Reynolds and Pauline Culver Reynolds of Gleason, a brother, Roger Reynolds of Sharon and a sister, Vicky Babb of Gleason.
A brother, Danny Lee Reynolds and a sister, Linda Fay Morris prececed him in death.
Gallimore Funeral Home in Gleason was in charge of the arrangements.

Dr. Teddy Gene Riddick
1943-2002
McKENZIE - Dr. Teddy Gene Riddick, 59, died Thursday, July 25 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Priestley Scott officiating.
Dr. Riddick, the son of the late Dennis and Rozelle Williams Riddick, was born April 29, 1943 in Friendship. He was a Doctor of Chiropractic and also a member of the McKenzie Rotary Club, the Chiropractic Association and a naval veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Tena Riddick; two daughters, Jill Shearon of Bolivar and Nancy Carter of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one son, Mark Ford of Lenoir City; two brothers, Max Riddick of Memphis and Dennis Wayne Riddick of Glasgow, Montana; three sisters, June Greenway of Memphis, Gail Bales of Atlanta, Georgia, and Freddie Ussery of Jackson, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Joseph Carter, Jacob Carter, Jonathan Carter, Mikey Crosnoe, and Jessica Smith and one great-granddaughter, Angel Crosnoe.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.

Lousie Carter Rigsby
1909-2002
HEMET, CALIFORNIA: Mrs. Louise Carter Rigsby, 92, formerly of Carroll County, died Monday, July 22 at the Hemet Valley Health Care in Hemet, California. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martin officiating. Interment icon followed in McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Rigsby was born August 3, 1909 in Carroll County. She was a schoolteacher at McLemoresville Elementary School for 30 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Rigsby King of Hemet, California; a sister, Madaline Adams of Huntingdon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
