Kimberly Brewer (Jones)
McKENZIE - Services for Kimberly Brewer (Jones), 37, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3 at Gallimore Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Auvenshine officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell cemetery. Ms. Jones, a homemaker, died Wednesday, September 26 at McKenzie Methodist Hospital of heart failure.
She was born June 12, 1964 in Union City to the late Jessie L. Brewer and Rebecca L. Williams Brewer.
Survivors include her companion, Billy Jones; a daughter, Amanda Jones of McKenzie; a brother, Mike Brewer of Sharon; three sisters, Pat Boone of Dresden, Lynn Brewer of McKenzie and Judy Jones of Jackson.

Milburn Lee "Bill" Allen
BRUCETON - Services for Milburn Lee "Bill" Allen, 74, were at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2 at Bruceton Funeral Home. Burial was in the Benton County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Allen, a retired fork lift operator for H.I.S., died Sunday, September 30 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lunner W. Allen; a stepdaughter, Judy Prince of Big Sandy; a son, Michael R. Allen of Bruceton; a stepson, Jame L. Waters of Nashville; a sister, Minnie Lee Cooper of Hollow Rock; three brothers, Leslie Allen and Dwayne Allen of Hollow Rock and William E. Allen of New Johnsonville; and three grandchildren.

Ray Everett Jones
Ray Everett Jones was born December 17, 1914 to the union of Ora and Alford Jones in McKenzie. He died Thursday, August 23. He received his formal education in the Carroll County School System at Webb High School in McKenzie. Mr. Jones was instrumental in building Johnson Temple A.M.E. Church in McKenzie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Earlene White Jones; one daughter, Annie Ray Jones Alexander of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Rev. Chester Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, and Woodrow Jones of Los Lumas, New Mexico; four sisters, Mildred Vance, Ruth Jones, and Dean Jones, all of Detroit, Michigan and Ethel Macintosh of Los Angeles, California and a host of other relatives and friends.

William Millard (Bill) Shaw
HUNTINGDON - Mr. William Millard (Bill) Shaw, 79, died Monday, September 3 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rufus Chandler officiating. Interment icon followed in the Clarksburg cemetery in Clarksburg.
Mr. Shaw was born November 18, 1921 in Hickman, Kentucky to the late Paul E. and Virginia Thompson Shaw. He was a retired employee of the City of Huntingdon and a member of the Clarksburg Missionry Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Burlean Spencer Shaw; two daughters, Sue Killion of Union City and Penny Carroll of Huntingdon; one son, Johnny Crafton of Huntingdon; one sister, Henrietta Isbell of Hickman, Kentucky and six grandchildren.

Rufus Rodney Phillips
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Rufus Rodney Phillips, 60, died Thursday, September 13 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Burton officiating. Interment icon followed in the Chapel Hill cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was born February 13, 1941 in Selmer. He was a member of the Faith in Christ Church and a U. S. Air Force veteran. His mother, Lucille Jones Phillips, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Umstead Phillips; his father and stepmother, Louis and Motiaco Phillips of Scotts Hill; one stepdaughter, Tammy Vestal of Milan; three sons, Bruce Alan Phillips of Scotts Hill, Ronny Dale Phillips of McKenzie, and Daymon Greg Phillips Schafer of Selmer; two stepsons, Timothy Hays and Michael Hays, both of Milan; two brothers, Danny Phillips of Lexington and Randall Phillips of Holladay; six grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Emma Grissom
Services for Emma Grissom, 80, were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 18 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Kenneth Roark officiating. Burial was in Zion cemetery in Elbridge.
Ms. Grissom, an Avon representative and retired food service employeee of Methodist Healthcare of Dyersburg, died Saturday, September 15 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis of heart disease.
She was born May 12, 1921 in Waverly to the late Ethel Grimes Gibson and Howard Clifford Price.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Hood of Millington, Bonnie Whitson of Trimble, and Martha Jewell Whitworth of Gleason; two sons, William Howard Grissom and Roger Dale Grissom, both of Newbern; two sisters, Dorothy Dozier and Bonnie Greek, both of Newbern; a half-sister, Eveline Philips of Brianburg, Kentucky; a brother, Lawrence Price of Ridgely; a half-brother, Howard Price of Huntingdon, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Herman Bolin
HOLLOW ROCK - Services for Mr. Herman Bolin, were at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13 at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in the Hopewell cemetery.
Mr. Bolin died at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation in Huntingdon.
He is survived by his father, Totie Melton.

Shirlene Floyd
CAMDEN - Services for Shirlene Floyd, 58, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16 at Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church cemetery in Camden.
Mrs. Floyd, an insurance agent, died Saturday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville of an aneurysm.
She is survived by her husband, Don Floyd; a son, Phil Floyd of Camden; two sisters, Zula Buck of Lexington and Jerri Young of McLemoresville; and two brothers, Wyly Pearson and Jimmy Pearson, both of Huntingdon.

Noble Noel Wiggins, Sr.
Services for Noble Noel Wiggins, Sr., were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15 at Brummit Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wiggins, a retired farmer, died Thursday morning, September 13 at McKenzie Health Care Center.
He was born August 30, 1903 in Gleason to the late Lola Mae Perry Wiggins and Larry Edmond Wiggins.
Survivors include four sons, Noble Noel Wiggins, Jr. and W. C. Wiggins, both of McKenzie, Charles Norman Wiggins of Huntingdon and James Edward Wiggins of Milan; two sisters, Ava Nell Owen of Henry and Ruby Lee Holmes of St. Louis, Missouri; a brother, Mark Wiggins of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mary E. Lee
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Mary E. Lee, 81, died Sunday, September 16 in Chicago, Illinois. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at presstime. Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pamela "Pam" Tillman
McKENZIE - Pam Tillman, 35, passed away on Tuesday, September 11 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. Services were held at Holly Leaf General Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14 with burial at Republican Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Tillman was born January 20, 1966 to Robert and Shirley Whitmore of Atwood, who survive.
Other survivors include her husband, Shannon Tillman; one son, Jemery Tillman of McKenzie; three sisters, Deborah Massey of Atwood, Ellie Bates of McKenzie, and Melissa Lovell of Trenton; her paternal grandmother, Marie Brooks and grandfather, Dewey Brooks. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Woodrow Whitmore and John Walter Simpson and her grandmother, Susie Simpson.

Eva Uldean Fry
LAVINIA - Services for Eva Uldean Fry, 77, were on Thursday, September 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial was in the Lavinia cemetery.
Mrs. Fry, a homemaker, died Tuesday, September 4 at Milan General Hospital of heart failure. She was a member of the Lavinia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Fry of Lavinia; one daughter, Charlotte Cole of Milan; two sons, William Fry of Jackson and Allen Fry of Atwood; three sisters, Mattie Sue Roe of Cedar Grove and Virginia Keel of Collegedale; three brothers, John Frank Duncan of Cedar Grove, Billy Warren Duncan of Huntingdon, and Clinton Duncan of Lakeland, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Richard "Frog" Swafford
BRUCETON - Services for Richard "Frog" Swafford, 71, were at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Burial was n New Prospect cemetery.
Mr. Swafford, a retired mechanic for CSX Railroad, passed away on Tuesday, September 4 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville of lung cancer.
He was born May 13, 1930 in Rutherford County to the late James Raymond and Vera May Parker Swafford. He was a member of the Bruceton First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Swafford; three daughters, Rickie Barnes, Pat Walters and Kristie King, all of Bruceton; three sons, Mike Swafford of Memphis and Ike Swafford and Tony Swafford, both of Bruceton; one sister, Gayle Wallace of Murfreesboro; one brother, Jimmy Swafford of Nashville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Amy Nell McCain
GLEASON - Funeral services fro Amie Nell McCain, 88, were at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4 at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Price officiating. Interment icon was at Tumbling Creek cemetery.
Mrs. McCain, a homemaker, died Sunday, September 2 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born, March 19, 1913 in Gleason to the late James Lucien and Gertrude Mitchell Shaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Worth McCain.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Brooks of Dresden, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mildred Smith
ATWOOD - Services for Mildred Smith, 86, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8 at First Baptist Church in Atwood,with Bro. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Interment icon was in the McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, died on Thursday, September 6 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atwood.
She was born October 30, 1914 to the late Lillie Kimcannon and Samuel Howard Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Smith and a sister, Thelma Younger.
Survivors include a son, Larry Smith of Benton, Louisiana; two brothers, Aubray Hill of Huntingdon and S. Rayborn Hill of Roanoke, Virginia; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Josephine Reeves
McLEMORESVILLE - Services for Josephine Reeves, 81, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McLemoresville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves died Friday, September 7 at National Healthcare in Milan.
Survivors include four sisters, Juanita Whitthorne of Montrose, Michigan, Ruth Deshong of Mt. Morris, Michigan, Lurlean Murphy and Helen Belew, both of McLemoresville and a brother, Archie Belew of Flint, Michigan.
Her husband, William "Will" Reeves preceded her in death.
Rawls Funeral Home in Paris is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, until services at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
