Dullie Adkisson
NASHVILLE - Services for Dullie Adkisson, 85, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 10 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville with Elder Kerry E. Bryant officiating. Memorial services were held Saturday, August 11 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Interment icon was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Adkisson was born May 28, 1916 in McLemoresville to the late George and Ella Bigham. She was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church in McLemoresville, until relocating to Nashville where she joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She served there as a Deaconess for 50 plus years.
Survivors include two sisters, Lavergene Adkisson of Trezevant and Earlene Williams of McLemoresville; a brother, Charlie Bigham of McLemoresville; several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, husband, Johnnie Adkisson preceded her in death.

John H. Stout
PARIS - Private memorial services for John H. Stout, 67, will be held at a later date. Mr. Stout died Friday, August 17 at Milan Hospital in Milan. He was retired from Gaines Manufacturing.
Survivors include four daughters, Debbie Cloys of Milan, Robin Stout of Boston, MA, Venita Bateman of West Plains, MO, Teresa Stout of Trezevant, and Lynn Stout of Nashville; two sons, Lee Stout and Tony Stout, both of Nashville; four sisters, Pearl Hutchens of Paris, Betty Williams of Dover, and Gussie Bule and Dorothy Moore, both of Paris.

James Franklin "Frankie" Berryhill, Jr.
McKENZIE - Funeral services for James Franklin, "Frankie" Berryhill, Jr., 52, were held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie. Burial followed in New Bethel cemetery in Henry.
Mr. Berryhill died Monday, August 13, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of liver disease.
He was born September 23, 1940 in McKenzie to the late Thelma Dinkins and James Franklin Berryhill, Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Nicole Berryhill of Savannah and a half-sister, Barbara Comer of Alabama and two grandchildren.

Raymond Guy Belew
TREZEVANT - Funeral services for Raymond Guy Belew, 73, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 17 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Bros. Malcolm Norton and John Forgy officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove cemetery.
Mr. Belew died on Wednesday, August 15 at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1927 in Gibson County to the late Cleo Pratt Belew and Oren Belew. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Trezevant.
Survivors include his wife LaVerne Belew; two sons, Danny Belew of Trezevant and Tim Belew of Colfax, California; a sister, Rebecca Harrison of Atwood; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jonathan Chad Williams
BRUCETON - Mr. Jonathan Chad Williams, 27, died Friday, August 17 of injuries he received in an automobile accideent. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Pinkley officiating. Interment icon followed in the Center Hill cemetery near Lexington.
Mr. Williams was born June 14, 1974 in Lexington and was a construction worker for DeMent Construction Company.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Joyce and Mark Cary of Westport; his father and step-mother, Claude and Lynn Williams of Lexington; and his fiancee, Virginia Toombs of Bruceton.

SMSgt. Auston Brooks Coleman
MARTIN - Funeral services for Senior Master Sergeant Auston Brooks Coleman were held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, August 19 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #1 in Martin, conducted by Rev. Andrew Martin and Rev. David Freeman. Burial was in Lathams Chapel cemetery near Medina with Replogle Lawrence Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Coleman died Wednesday, August 15 at Volunteer General Hospital.
He was born in Carroll County, the son of the late Charles Raymond and Vadie Cotton coleman. Mr. Coleman was a retired security air policeman from the U. S. Air Force after twenty-five years, serving during the Korean Conflict and Viet Nam War. He also served as a City of Martin Policeman and a mechanic for Vincent Implement Company of Martin. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #1.
Mr. Coleman was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dr. B. R. Coleman, Rev. Maurice Coleman and Doyle Randall Coleman.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Mrs. Betty Jane King Coleman; two sons, Michael Anthony Coleman of Lavinia and Charles Ray Coleman II of Martin; five sisters, Mrs. Corinne Hawk of Madison, Mrs. Coretha Nichols of Columbia, Mrs. Virginia Vaughan of Atwood, Mrs. Mary Bettie of Hoschton, Georgia, and Mrs.Sandra Bixler of Shalotte, North Carolina; a brother, Charles O. Coleman of Lavinia; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.

Donna Lynn Ecker Smith
MILAN - Services for Mrs. Donna Lynn Ecker Smith, 40, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 17 at Bodkin Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Burial was in Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, August 14 at the Methodist Hospital of McKenzie.
She was Assembly of God in belief.
Surviving are her husband, Jeff Smith of Milan; a daughter, Tabitha Smith of Milan; a son, Tony Lanciloti of Milan; her mother, Juanell Ecker of Atwood; a sister, Cindy Martin of Atwood; and a brother, Buddy Ecker of Milan.
The family requests memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.

Gracie Lynn Reeves
CEDAR GROVE - Services for Gracie Lynn Reeves, stillborn infant, were at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18 at Reed's Chapel in Lexington. Burial was in Central Grove cemetery. Gracie died on Thursday, August 16 at Jackson General Hospital.
Survivors include her mother Misty Reeves and father Jeff Reeves of Cedar Grove; grandparents Joe and Carolyn Adams of Cedar Grove, Robert and Clara Reeves of Darden; great-grandparents Coy and Marga Robertson of Jackson, Exie Watson of Lexington and Elbert Reeves of Darden.

Willie Ferguson
JACKSON - Services for Willie Ferguson, 77, were at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19 at George A. Smith and Sons North Cahpel with Rev. Robert Barger officiating. Burial was in Double Springs cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Ferguson; one daughter, Patsy Warren of Lavinia; a stepdaughter, Diane Dempsey of Mississippi; two sisters, Elizabeth Wood of Atwood and Pat McKinney of Madison, Alabama; one brother, Billy Pillow of Perry, Florida; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Trent Arthur Moody
YUMA - Services for Trent Arthur Moody, 39, were Sunday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pafford Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Burial was in Palestine Pentecostal cemetery in Lexington.
Mr. Moody, a Devilbiss employee, died Thursday, August 16 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Nell Moody; her mother Carol Moody and father, Joe Moody, Sr. of Navarre, Florida; daughter Stephanie Moody and son Anthony Moody of Yuma; brothers, Johnny Moody, Jr. of Big Sandy and Michael Moody of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters Priscilla Cartwright of Dyersburg and Sue Kelly of Tallahassee.

Roy Gene Jarrett
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Roy Gene Jarrett, 60, died Monday, August 13 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 16 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Interment icon followed at Leach Seventh Day Adventist cemetery.
Mr. Jarrett was born November 2, 1940 in Carroll County to the late Clyde and Kate Kelly Jarrett. He was owner of Huntingdon Auto Parts for over 30 years, a member of the Elks Lodge and the Carroll County Country Club. He served on the Board of Directors of Carroll County Electric Department for 20 years, three of which he served as Chairman and was presently treasurer.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jarrett; one son, Chris Jarrett of Huntingdon; one daughter, Monica Cole, Kansas City, Missouri; one stepson, Michael Wall of Huntingdon; one stepdaughter, Kim Arnold; two sisters, Mildred Lewis of Henry and Elizabeth Thomsen of Huntingdon; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Roy Milton Butler
BRUCETON - Mr. Roy Milton Butler, 57, died Monday, August 13 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 15 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Wendell Boyd officiating. Interment icon followed in Jamison cemetery.
Mr. Butler was born September 20, 1943 in Carroll County. He was a mechanic for Henry I. Siegel and a member of Westport Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Butler.
He is survived by his mother, Eddith Butler of Huntingdon; one son, David Butler of Hollow Rock; his companion, Sandra Forrest of Bruceton; two sisters, Rena Hayes of Huntingdon and Starla Renfroe of Westport.

Eula Mae Murphy
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Eula Mae Murphy, 82, died Tuesday, August 14 at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 16 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Elders Scott Carter, Phillip Halter and Rufus Chandler officiating. Interment icon followed at Long Rock cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy was born March 6, 1919 to the late Alexander and Cordellia Thomas Williams in Carroll County. She was a retired employee of Barrow's Department Store and a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Murphy, who died June 5, 1994; three brothers, Claudine Williams, Buford Williams, Alex Williams and one sister, Emma Moore.
She is survived by one daughter, Louise Baker of Huntingdon and one son, Joe Murphy of Stockton, California; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Joan Groves
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Joan Groves, 50, died Friday, June 15 at the Milan General Hospital. Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, June 16 at the Bethlehem cemetery with Reverend Steve Atwood officiating.
Mrs. Groves, the daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Severns Ezell, was born February 18, 1951 in Memphis.
She is survived by her husband, William Ray Groves; two daughters, Christine Groves of Huntingdon and Michelle Lindsey of Clarksburg; one son, Al Groves of Huntingdon; one sister, Gean Turner of Covington; a brother, Winford Ezell of Michigan and six grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Willie Joyner
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Willie Joyner, 94, died Friday, June 15 at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, June 17 at 3:00 p.m., in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Bill Goodpasture officiating. Interment icon followed in the Oak Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Joyner, the daughter of the late William Harvey and Sarah Mitchell Blair, was born October 17, 1906 in Carroll County. She was the widow of Glynn Joyner, who died August 20, 1995, was a retired Circuit Court Clerk, and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Jack Joyner of Germantown; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Charles Keener
McKENZIE - Services for Charles Round Keener, 78, were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Carr officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh cemetery.
Mr. Keener, a carpenter, died Wednesday, June 13 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure.
He was born September 28, 1922 in Fairfax, Pennsylvania to the late Anna Mary Rowan Keener and George Edward Keener. He was a member of the Long Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Reynolds Keener; a daughter, Anita Marie Hollis of McKenzie; a stepdaughter, Lenora Mayo of Big Sandy; two sisters, Anna Carrow of Baltimore and Linda Wiatrowski of Dover, Pennsylvania; a brother, James Keener of Baltimore; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Nelda Moore.
