Faye E. Myrick
GLEASON - Graveside services for Mrs. Faye E. Myrick, 77, were held Sunday, June 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Olive Branch cemetery.
Mrs. Myrick died Tuesday, May 28 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Stallings.
Gallimore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Erleene Darby Sanders
DRESDEN - Erleene Darby Sanders, 82, died Friday, May 31 at the home of her daughter, Shirley Copeland near Dresden. Services were held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2 at Gallimore Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Copeland and Bro. Gerry Gallimore officiating. Burial was in Lebanon cemetery near Dresden.
Mrs. Sanders was born July 10, 1919 to the late Ora Mae and Robert I. Darby. She was a homemaker and retired from Martin Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Hodges Chapel Baptist Church.
A brother, Lonzo Darby and a son-in-law preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert M. Sanders; three daughters, Shirley Copeland, Jimmie Gail Parham and Jean Mitchell, all of Dresden; two sisters, Jessie Hamilton and Pauline Julian of Gleason; a brother, Edward Darby of Camden; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jessica Lynn Noles
HUNTINGDON - Miss Jessica Lynn Noles, 18, died Thursday, May 30 at the Lexington Methodist Hospital in Lexington from injuries she received in an automobile accident. Memorial services were conducted on Sunday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Poole officiating.
Miss Noles was born July 21, 1983 in Melrose Park, Illinois. She graduated from Huntingdon High School in May 2001 and was a student at the Lexington Vocational School.
Survivors include her mother, Diana Liedke of Huntingdon; her father, Dennis Noles of McKenzie; her maternal grandmother, Henrietta Liedke of Brooksville, Florida; one sister, Jennifer Chesser of McKenzie; one brother, Joshua Noles of Huntingdon and two nieces.

Olivia Beville Chandler
McKENZIE - Services for Olivia Beville Chandler, 86, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 5 at Brummitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler died Monday morning, June 3 at Oak Manor Healthcare Center in McKenzie.
She was born January 8, 1916 in McKenzie to the late Callie McCord Beville and George W. Beville. She was a member of the McLemoresville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Chandler; a son, Randall Chandler of Germantown; a stepdaughter, Karen Allen of McKenzie; a stepson, Gary Chandler of McKenzie; four grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. A son, Reichle Chandler preceded her in death.

Williard Edward "Jack" Mebane
JACKSON - Funeral services for Willard Edward "Jack" Mebane, 84, were held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Burial was in Ridgecrest cemetery.
Mr. Mebane, a self-employed carpenter, died Sunday, June 2 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on October 3, 1913 in McKenzie, the son of the late Arvil and Eula Mae Mann Mebane. He was a member of the Campbell Street Church of Christ and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Louise Cranford Mebane; a daughter, Paulette Pentecost of Bellevue, Nebraska; one son, Kenneth Mebane of Jackson and one grandson.

Carolyn Kemp
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Carolyn Kemp, 88, widow of Clovis Howard Kemp, a Methodist minister, died Monday, June 3 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Two children survive, Jane McCoy of Huntingdon and Howard Kemp of McCall, Idaho. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced as information becomes available. Oma Nell Blackburn
DRESDEN - Services for Ona Nell Blackburn, 87, were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13 at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomas Tolley officiating. Burial was in Hornbeak cemetery in Greenfield.
Mrs. Blackburn, widow of Horace Blackburn, died Monday, February 11 at Methodist Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
She was born July 10, 1914 in Dresden to the late John Bell and Clercy Fowler. She was a member of McKenzie Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Billy Blackburn of Dresden; a daughter Etta Fields of Florence, Kentucky and eight grandchildren.
A son, Bobby Blackburn, preceded her in death.

Faulton L. Connell
SOUTH FULTON: Services for Faulton L. Connell, 51, were at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 16 at Hornbeak Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Cox and David Sticklin officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City.
Mr. Connell died Thursday, February 14 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
He was born September 19, 1950 in Weakley County to the late Hershell and Hazel Gant Connell. He retired two years ago from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City. He was an Air Force veteran who served in Viet Nam. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Greenfield and a member of the Ken-Tenn Beagle Club in association with the United Beagle Gun Dog Federation.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer Haddad Connell and a sister, Beverly Ellis of McKenzie.

Leo E. Prince
CLARKSBURG - Mr. Leo Prince died Thursday afternoon, February 15, at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He had been a patient there for some time. He was born in Benton County near Holladay. He moved to Clarksburg as a young boy and spent most of his life there. He attended Clarksburg School and was a member of the Roans Creek Church of Christ.
Sergeant Leo Prince served his country with over 20 years of service in the army. During World War II he was in the Pacific area serving active duty. He also served duty in the Viet Nam Conflict for two years. He retired shortly after discharge.
He leaves two sisters, Hazel Smith of Clarksburg where he made his home and Jean Hester of Huntingdon; two brothers, Guy Prince of Clarksburg and Lyle Prince of Vermilian, Ohio and six nieces.
Full military funeral services were conducted at Roans Creek Church of Christ on Saturday, February 16 with Brother Josh Ketchum and Brother Charles Thompson officiating. Interment icon followed at Blair cemetery in Clarksburg.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Gilbert A. Hampton
BUENA VISTA - Mr. Gilbert A. Hampton, 67, died Tuesday, February 12 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Comfort Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Bryant and Bro. Jeff Simmons officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hampton was born June 27, 1934 in Carroll County to the late Roland Andrew and Birdie (Harris) Hampton. He was a retired employee of the Carroll County Highway Department and believed in the Baptist faith. Two brothers, Delbert Hampton and William Hampton, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hicks Hampton; one daughter, Belinda Lee of Wildersville; one son, Chris Hampton of Huntingdon; five sisters, Dorothy Ellis and Barbara Williams, both of Buena Vista, Stella Cary of Bruceton, Alice Lowe of Kentucky, and Judy Showalter of Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy Hampton of Camden and Roland Andrew Hampton, Jr. of North Carolina; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mable Lou French
McKENZIE - Services for Mable Lou French, 69, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19 at Brummitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. French, Clerk at Carroll County Health Department in Huntingdon, died Saturday, February 16 at The Med in Memphis of heart failure.
She was born June 17, 1932 in McKenzie to the late Etter Robinson French and Thomas M. "Red" French.
Survivors include a son, Bobby French of McKenzie; three stepsisters, Jessie Rae Willstead of Bruceton, Mella Searett of Nashville, and Deeann McAlexander of Cedar Grove; and three stepbrothers, Samuel Gateley of Bruceton, Ervin Anderson of McKenzie and Ray Anderson of Paris.

Ruth Bobo Freeman
McKENZIE - Services for Mrs. Ruth Bobo Freeman, 93, were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 14 at Brummitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Harrell Nation and Bro. J. E. Pugh officiating. Burial was in Mr. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie. Mrs. Freeman died Tuesday, February 12 at McKenzie Methodist Hospital.
She was born November 19, 1908 in McKenzie to the late Gertrude Young Bobo and Foster Bobo. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McKenzie.
Her husband, Howard Freeman, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Freeman of McKenzie, Jimmy Freeman of Orange Beach, Alabama and Ben Freeman of Tucson, Arizona; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wanda Faye Coleman
HUNTINGDON - Services for Wanda Faye Coleman, 59, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with the Revs. George Hill, Steve Atwood and James Humphreys officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Methodist cemetery in Huntingdon.
Mrs. Coleman, employee of New Generations in McKenzie, died Saturday, February 16 at her home.
She was born October 5, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church in Huntingdon.
Survivors include her husband, William P. Coleman; two sons, Standley Coleman of Camden and John Coleman of Dyer; her mother and stepfather, Hallie Adams Quattrooch and Monty Quattrooch of Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters Sandy Slagle of Martinsville, Indiana, Nancy Morris of Avon, Indiana, Sonya Wright and Margaret Deaton, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother, John Vinard of Greenfield and two grandchildren.
Her father, John Vinard; a sister, Martha Phelps and a brother, Billy Vinard preceded her in death.

Clay B. Hurley
Memorial services were held on Thursday, February 14 for Clay Hurley of Murfreesboro. He passed away on Saturday, February 9 at the Veteran's Hospital in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Hurley served as the first administrator of the United Hospitals Corp. of McKenzie, which is now Methodist/LeBonheur Hospital of McKenzie.
Survivors include his wife, Marion and two children, Hanna and Kellett.

Virginia B. Wingo
MEMPHIS - Graveside services for Virginia B. Wingo, 82, were at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 7 at Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Wingo, a retired schoolteacher and reading specialist with Memphis City Schools, died Thursday, January 3 at American Transitional Care.
She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church for 45 years; a member and past president of the American Association of University Women; a member and past president of the Methodist Hospital Auxiliary; a Methodist Hospital Foundation Living Award recipient 1996, and past president of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Survivors include a son, William T. Wingo, Jr. of Nashville; an aunt, Ruby Brashear of McKenzie; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church or Methodist Hospitals Foundation.
