Larry Wayne Ward
McKENZIE - Graveside services for Larry Wayne Ward were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at Brock cemetery in Greenfield with Bro. Sam Holly officiating.
Mr. Ward died Thursday, March 21 at his home.
He was born February 28, 1950 in Greenfield.
Survivors include his mother, Emma M. Webb; two sons, Chris Ward and Kip Ward of Lansing, Michigan; three sisters, Janice Turnbow of McKenzie, Vicky Lienhart of Lansing, Michigan, and Connie Webb Lee of Martin; two brothers, Thomas E. Webb and Ervin Webb, Jr., both of Greenfield and four grandchildren.
His father, Robert Lee Ward, preceded him in death.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

William Lincoln Collins
HUNTINGDON - Mr. William Lincoln Collins, 71, died Monday, March 18 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services were conducted on Wednesday, March 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Palestine cemetery with Bro. Phillip Halters officiating.
Mr. Collins was born January 5, 1931 in Carroll County to the late Daniel and Retha (Hedge) Collins. He was a retired truck driver and believed in the Baptist faith. One brother, Nelson Collins also preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Hamilton of Lexington and Lisa Williams of Huntingdon; one son, Ronnie Collins of Huntingdon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Geneva Brinkley
WESTPORT: Mrs. Geneva Brinkley, 59, died Friday, March 22, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Ellis officiating. Interment icon followed in the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Benton County.
She is survived by her husband, James S. Brinkley; her mother, Becky Forrest of Yuma; four daughters, Ruth Brinkley of Westport, Jennifer Sellers of Counce, Gayron Seiber and Diane McClellan, both of Camden; one son, Harlan Douglas of Paris; four sisters, Sue Cary of Yuma, Pearl Delaney of Camden, Carolyn Kirksey and Edith Pearson, both of Huntingdon; one brother, Larry Forrest of Sharon and eleven grandchildren.

Margaret Ann Glover
ATWOOD - Services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Glover, 71, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17 at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Pisgah Cemebery.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Glover of Atwood; two daughters, Jo Ann Carroll and Gloria Glover, both of Atwood and a sister, Joyce B. Sawyer of Memphis.

Charles Larry Fuzzell
McKENZIE - Services for Charles Larry Fuzzell, 66, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Bryant and Jerry Hollingworth officiating. Burial was in Caledonia cemetery.
Mr. Fuzzell, retired from Goodyear, died Saturday, March 16 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born January 14, 1936 in McKenzie to the late Rachel Reese Fuzzell and Homer Fuzzell.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jean Fuzzell; two daughters, Rhonda Jean Houston and Gina Kaye Harper, both of McKenzie; two sisters, Joann Rainey of McEwen and Charlene Wade of Charleston, South Carolina and four grandchildren.

Dorothy M. Edwards
LELAND, NORTH CAROLINA: Miss Dorothy M. Edwards, 88, who was born Trezevant, died Saturday, May 11 at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center in Leland. She was the daughter of the late E.H. an Lida Morris Edwards.
Educated at Murray State University (Kentucky), the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University (Peabody Library School), Miss Edwards devoted the early years of her professional career to teaching at Huntingdon High School, was District Supervisor in Eastern Kentucky and Army Camp Librarian during World War II. The last 33 years of her career were spent as Assistant Library Director of the Allentown, Pennsylvania Public Library and the White Plains, New York Public Library.
Following her retirement in 1976, she was a resident of Fairfax County, Virginia where she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in McLean. She became a resident of Brunswick Cove in 1998.
A sister, Martha E. Brewer and four brothers, James E. Edwards, Dr. E.H. Edwards, Jr., William L. Edwards and Dr. Thomas Edwards all preceded her in death. Surviving are 11 nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, may 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oak Hill cemetery with Dr. Mickey Carpenter officiating. Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.

Cynthia Evelyn Brewer
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Cynthia Evelyn Brewer, 80, died Tuesday, May 7 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 11 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Rufus Chandler and Brother Robert Simmons officiating. Interment icon followed in Davis Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Brewer was born on January 22, 1922 in Carroll County to the late Scott Milton and Lela Lindsay Pinson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Her husband, Henry Herbert Brewer and a sister, Rachel Perritt, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosalind Cole and Cynthia Thompson, both of Huntingdon; one son, Randall Brewer of Smyrna; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Samuel "Sam" Allen
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Samuel "Sam" Allen, 86, died Friday May 10 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 12 at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Lynn Stapleton, Brother Trey Crews and Brother Ray Smith officiating. Interment icon followed in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Allen, the son of the late Clayburn Doss and Missouri Noles Allen, was born August 31, 1915 in Benton County. He joined the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church on July 11, 1951 and became an ordained deacon on March 30, 1952. He was a retired carpenter. Two brothers, Clarence Allen and Connie Allen and five sisters, Vadie Pickler, Virdie May, Stella McAdams, Linnie Nannie and Madelyn Cole preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 65 year, Mrs. Polly Wilson Allen; two daughters, Rebecca Simpson of Huntingdon and Paulette Crews of Bruceton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ollie B. Browning
CEDAR GROVE - Mr. Ollie B. Browning, 85, died Tuesday, May 7 at the Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Jackson. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 12 at the Little Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Harrison officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Browning was born December 25, 1916 in Carroll County to the late Columbus and Ellen Bramley Browning. He was a member of the Little Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Milan Arsenal. Two sisters, Ms. Emma Allen and Mrs. Onnie Lee Hutch and one brother, Mr. Alvin Browning preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Allene Frame Browning; two daughters, Doris Buckley of Cedar Grove and Margaret Lee Browning of Huntingdon; one son, Hubert Wayne Browning of Urbana, Illinois; two sisters, Icie D. Green of Wilmington, Delaware and Adell Browning of Hickman, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Sudie Beasley Morgan
CAMDEN - Services for Sudie Beasley Morgan, 92, were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 13 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan, widow of Clarence Albert Morgan, died Friday, May 10 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was a member of Camden Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Morgan of McKenzie and Wendell Morgan of Dickson; four grandchildren, Melissa Morgan Smith of Franklin, Jennifer Morgan Truitt of Decatur, Alabama, Wendell Landon Morgan of Memphis and Christina Morgan Dugall of Evansville, Indiana and six great-grandchildren.

Levera Cole
BUENA VISTA - Services for Levera Cole, 75, were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Burial was in Spellings cemetery near Buena Vista.
Mrs. Cole, a retired seamstress for Publix Shirt Co., died Thursday, May 9.
She was born in Benton County on September 1, 1926 to the late Dossie Franklin Cole and Lou Emma Beasley Cole. Four sisters and two brothers, Opal Noles, Willodean Williams, Ila Norwood, Olivine Higdon, Warren Cole and Leland Cole preceded her in death. Miss Levera was a Baptist in faith.
A brother, James Donald Cole of Buena Vista survives.

Cleatus Glynn Jackson
McKENZIE - Services for Cleatus Glynn Jackson, 76, were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in Union Academy cemetery.
Mr. Jackson, a retired supervisor of transportation at the Milan Arsenal, died Tuesday, May 7 at the VA hospital in Murfreesboro.
He was born May 16, 1925 in Gibson County to the late Myrtle McConnell Jackson and Arthur Curtis Jackson. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Union Academy Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Benny Jackson of McKenzie and Curtis Jackson of Memphis; two brothers, James Jackson of Atwood and Robert Jackson of Merced, California; and four grandchildren.

Maggie Lois Cravens
McKENZIE - Services for Maggie Cravens were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 10 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial was in Hopewell cemetery in Gleason.
Mrs. Cravens died Wednesday, May 8 at Methodist Hospital.
She was born November 15, 1913 in Gleason to the late Lillie Jones Heath and Harmon Heath. She was the widow of Joe Huey Cravens.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Houston of Paris; a son, Terry Cravens of McKenzie; a brother, Bill Heath of McKenzie; five grandchildren, Tony Patton, Vickie Crocker, Timmy Patton, Monica Heath and Heather Hutchens; eight grandchildren, Brianna Patton, Nicholas Patton, Crystal Drewry, Bridget Crocker, Noah Heath, Nikolas Heath, Daniel Patton and Hannah Patton and three great-great-grandchildren, Angel Crocker, Dillon Drewry and Logan Drewry.

Rozelle Fodge
McKENZIE - Services for Rozelle Fodge, 86, were Saturday, May 11 at 4:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial was in Fodge cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Fodge died Thursday, May 9 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. She was the widow of Willie Lee Fodge.
She was born July 3, 1915 in McKenzie to the late Hattie Stephens Wheat and Walter Wheat. She was a member of Caledonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary Fodge of McKenzie; three brothers, Marlon Wheat of Dresden, Bobby Wheat of Florida and Max Wheat of White Sands, New Mexico; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mary M. Wimbs
TREZEVANT - Services for Mary M. Wimbs, 86, were Saturday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Burial was in the Trezevant cemetery.
Mrs. Wimbs, retired from ATT in Memphis, died Thursday night, May 9 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
She was born May 15, 1915 in Trezevant to the late Lillie Allison Cox and Posey O. Cox. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Her husband, Luther Wimbs, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one nephew, Jim Cox of Trezevant.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
