Jean Evelyn "Abbie" Sadler, age 73 of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Davidson County, she had lived in Rutherford County for the past 15 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Sadler was preceded in death by her parents, Odie Gordon and Ida Mai Jacobs Foxall and a brother, William Glenn Foxall. She is survived by her husband, Joe Rex Sadler of Murfreesboro; son, Joe G. (Wendy) Sadler of Rockvale; daughter, Debbie Sadler of Murfreesboro; sister, Cathy (Allen) Jones of Whitehouse, and four grandchildren, Billy Ambrose, Adrian Johnson, Eli Sadler and Caitlin Sadler.

Catherine Olivia Davis, age 77, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Jackson and Callie Drake Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Morgan Bell Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Bonnie Davis of Christiana; daughters and son-in-law, Betty Shelton of Bedford County, Tina and Michael McCrary of Murfreesboro; six sisters, Nita Preston, Virginia Winsett and Marie Hayes all of Murfreesboro, Louise Ross of Bedford County, Faye Thomas of Christiana and Peggy Young of Milton; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Jones; sister, Rosie Jamison.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Barfield Baptist Church and had attended Rockvale High School.

Wendell Chriesman "W.C." Arnold, 80, of Eagleville, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005. A former elder at Eagleville Church of Christ, Mr. Arnold was born and raised on his farm in Eagleville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth G. "Beth" Arnold. John Wesley Nance, 82, of Rockvale, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at his home. A native of Rockvale, he was the son of the late H.J. "Cap" and Evie Joe Christopher Nance.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Riggs Nance; daughters Joy Nance Noack of Atlanta, Mary Lou Nance deMille of Rockvale, and Karen Nance Randle of Rockvale; three grandchildren, Shannon Killingbeck, Erin Foil and Emily Little; and five great-grandchildren, Sutherlan Killingbeck, Christian Killingbeck, Ethan Killingbeck, Kaitlhyn Foil and Patrick Foil.
Mr. Nance was a member of the Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII. He was a Mason, and a retired employee of the Federal Aviation Administration. He was the assistant chief of the Atlanta International Airport Tower and retired tower chief of the Knoxville Airport. He was also the co-aothor of "The History of Versailles."

Sarah Louise Hopkins Russell, 90, of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and a member of Leanna Church of Christ.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Vergie Hopkins; her husband, William Henry Thomas Russell; and a daughter, Carolyn Sue Russell. She is survived by daughters Georgia Mai (Johnny) Harrell and Linda (Thomas) Johnson, both of the Leanna Community, Betty Demoville of Rockvale and Frances (Jerry) Robertson of Smyrna; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Robert Lee Woodson, 40, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at his residence. A native of Shelbyville, he had lived in Rutherford County for the past eight years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and attended Stones River Church of Christ.
Mr. Woodson is survived by his wife Charlotte Warren Woodson of Smyrna, his parents Terry and Patricia White of Unionville; son Robert Lee Woodson, Jr.; daughter Abigail Woodson of Smyrna; brother Jerry Woodson of Michigan; sisters Shelia White of Chattanooga and Barbara Mooningham of Shelbyville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Vickie Warren of Smyrna; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

C. B. Delffs, 82, of the Triune community died Thursday, September 29, 2005 in Franklin. Mr. Delffs was a native of Bedford County and a son of the late Joe V. and Lillian Damron Delffs. He was a retired farmer and retired from the Rutherford County Co-op. Mr. Delffs attended Triune Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife Jean Bell Delffs of the Triune community; daughters Sandra Gentry of Shelbyville, Dianne Sandlin of Smyrna; brother Franklin Delffs; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Ronald “Ronnie” Cooper White, age 41 of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born June 27, 1969 in Bedford County to James E. and Nancy Brannon White of Unionville. He was a graduate of Community High School and the owner/operator of Special Touch Tint and Accessories. He was also involved as a coach in the Coach Pitch League and Junior Pro Basketball. He was a faithful member of Rover Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Arlene Scott White of Shelbyville; a son, Dustin White and a daughter, Nicole White, both of Shelbyville; two brothers, Randy White and his wife Anita, and Rickey White and his wife Jeanne, all of Unionville; two sisters, Eve White of Murfreesboro, and Julie Roseborough and her husband Mark of Nashville.

Jonathon Reed, 18, of Shelbyville died Sunday, October 23, 2005 at his home after a four year battle with cancer. He was a native of Bedford County and was a member of the class of 2006 at Community High School in Unionville. He attended Victory Independent Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

Charlie Edmound McCallum, 82, of Murfreesboro died Friday, October 21, 2005, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Christiana, Mr. McCallum was the son of the late Charlie and Lizzie Faulk McCallum. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army, and was a retired truck driver.
Mr. McCallum was preceded in death by sisters Mildred McCallum Foster and Sara McCallum Minor and grandson Andrew Tant.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Zumbro McCallum; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Robin McCallum of College Grove; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Michael Tant of Franklin; brother Ronnie McCallum of Christiana; sisters Kate Holden of Christiana and Martha Tygard of Nashville; granddaughters Jennifer (Phil) Covington of Atlanta, Michelle Tant (Wes) Driver of Nashville and Mitzi McCallum of San Diego; grandson Michael E.
