Khoun Sansiri, 85, of Memphis, died Sunday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Family Funeral Care. She leaves five daughters, Naly Vichitnongsa, Khamthai Sisamdat, Kounmany Teaoudom, Phoua Khamseng and Noulay Sansiri, and two sons, Khamphai Sansiri and Bounkhai Sansiri, all of Memphis, 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Isabella Balfour Thomas, 84, of Memphis, formerly of Holly Springs, Miss., homemaker, died Saturday at St. Peter Villa. Services will be at noon today at Anderson Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs, where she was a Sunday school teacher and Missionary Society and choir member, with burial in New Hope CME Church cemetery in Red Banks, Miss. J.F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs has charge. She was a graduate of Mississippi Industrial College, attended Rust College, district director of Christian Education, annual conference president of Minister's Wives Alliance Holly Springs District, secretary of Annual Conference, youth director, secretary of the treasure of the North Mississippi Conference for 12 years, first vice president of National Youth Conference of CME Church and a member of Rust College Singers. Mrs. Thomas, the widow of Rev. W. H. Thomas, leaves a sister, Didentry Harris of Memphis, and four nieces who helped care for her, Doris Leatherwood, Tiffany Harris and Audrey Pounder, all of Memphis, and Daisy Martin of Holly Springs, and two grandchildren.

She leaves a son, Rodney Tunstall; her mother, Fannie M. Stigall Abston; four sisters, Dorothy Odell, Fannie J. Brigdforth, Irma J. Neely and Carolyn A. Fifer; five brothers, Roy C. Abston, McKinley Abston Jr., Willie B. Abston, Robert E. Abston and James A. Abston, and a grandchild.

James A. Wilson Jr., 62, of Memphis, machine operator for Ronald Terry Construction, died Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at N.H. Mr. Wilson, the husband of Geraldine Smith Wilson, also leaves a daughter, Brenda Marie Wilson, and three sons, Brian Authur Wilson, Kirk Lynn Wilson and Gary Tavi Wilson, all of Memphis, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Clara Mae Parson Witherspoon, 75, of Memphis, retired General Session Court manager, died Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at noon Monday at First Baptist Church-Lauderdale, where she was a member of the Priscilla Sunday School Class and former usher and senior care committee member, with burial in New Park cemetery. R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a member of Semper Laboran Club. She leaves a daughter, Debra W. Goodman of Memphis; a son, Daryl Witherspoon of California, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Covington -- Paulina Deverell, 88, retired clerk for Navy Exchange after 20 years, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Covington Memorial Gardens. Covington Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Covington First Baptist Church. Mrs. Deverell, the widow of George Deverell, leaves a daughter, Linda Huffman; a son, William Deverell, and three brothers, Larry Whitley, Edward Whitley and George Whitley, all of Covington, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Giddens, the widow of Sam Giddens, leaves a daughter, Bonnie G. Henson of Covington, a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Palmer Funeral Home in Mason has charge. She was a member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and a former member of Shiloh CME Church. Mrs. Tipton, the widow of Clint Tipton Jr., leaves a daughter, Jean Helen Carnes of Jackson; three sisters, Bertha Gaines of St. Louis, Annie Cunningham of Covington and Dorothy Mae Williams of Spanish Lake, Mo.; two brothers, Lawrence Wright of Lansing, Mich., and Lewis Wright of McCool, Miss., a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
