Mrs. Asbury, the wife of Robert Asbury, also leaves two daughters, Teresa Asbury and Genevieve Asbury; her mother, Wanda Rector; a sister, Susan Rector, and two brothers, Richard Rector and Dennis Rector, all of Memphis, and seven grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Bryce Canerdy, 69, of Lakeland, international union representative, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a member of Trafalgar Village Baptist Church. Mr. Canerdy, the husband of JoAnn Canerdy, also leaves a daughter, Tammy Bauer of Germantown; two sons, Terry Canerdy of Murray, Ky., and Barry Canerdy of Atoka, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Trafalgar Village Baptist Church.

Monique Dewberry Chatman, 43, of Memphis, launderer for Med Tech Service, died Feb. 16 at her home. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Harrison's Funeral Home Orange Mound Chapel. She was a Pentecostal and a graduate of Denbigh High School in Newport News, Va. She leaves two daughters, Kiana Dewberry and Tanesha Dewberry, both of Memphis; her mother, Tinnie Dewberry of Newport News; a sister, Nettie Dewberry of Baltimore; two brothers, James Dewberry and Curtis Dewberry, both of Newport News; a companion with whom she lived, Thandiwe Nkosi, and four grandchildren.

Byron Davenport, 38, of Memphis, technician for Mid-South Music & Sounds, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Monumental Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in New Park cemetery. R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Davenport, the husband of Tarolyn W. Davenport, also leaves a daughter, Kierra Woodall; four sons, Baron Davenport Jr., Eric Lee Davenport, Tyrone Saulsberry and Jeremy Woodall; his father, Carl Williams, and his great-grandmother, Lula Bell Williams, all of Memphis.

Louella Young Dean, 87, of Memphis, retired secretary for Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died Wednesday at Kennington Pointe Assisted Living. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Willow Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Dean was the widow of Harry Clay Dean. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Willow Park Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He leaves a daughter, Tamara Ebel of Memphis; his mother, Barbara Ebel of Independence, Mo.; three sisters, Barbara Flagen of Amarillo, Texas, Delores Ferguson of Lees Summit, Mo., and Ruth Grimsley of Raytown, Mo., and two brothers, David Ebel of Missouri and Robert Ebel of Kansas City, Mo. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Disabled American Veterans.

He was a veteran of the Royal Air Force, a member of Millington First Baptist Church, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a coach at Pendleton Presbyterian. Mr. Fowler, the husband of Delcie L. Fowler for 58 years, also leaves two daughters, Erica Nichols of Albany, Ga., and Judy Butler of Martin, Tenn.; two sons, Chris B. Fowler and Kevin Fowler, both of Millington; a sister, Avril Freeland of Melbourne, Fla., seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Millington First Baptist Church.

He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of Cherry Valley Baptist Church and a former member of Cherry Valley American Legion. Mr. Kendall, the widower of Verna Kendall, leaves two daughters, Paula Godwin of Bartlett and Betty Hobbs of Lakeland; a sister, Charlene Sanders of Cherry Valley; two brothers, James Kendall of Bruceton, Tenn., and Oscar Kendall of Cherry Valley, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
