Rosalie Palazola Paxton, 60, of Memphis, homemaker, died Thursday at Select Specialty Hospital. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church with entombment in Calvary Mausoleum. Family Funeral Care has charge. Mrs. Paxton, the wife of Robert D. Paxton III of Bartlett, also leaves two sisters, Veta Barber and Catherine McDaniel, both of Memphis, and three brothers, John Palazola of Memphis, Vince Palazola of Collierville and Fred Palazola of Olive Branch. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.

Martha Mae Pelles, 84, of Memphis, homemaker, died Tuesday at Methodist North Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Pelles, the widow of Emile F. Pelles, leaves a daughter, Catherine Cossitt of Searcy, Ark.; a son, Larry Pelles of Memphis, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Humane Society.

She leaves two sons, Richard L. Seldon and David W. Seldon; her mother, Ora D. Payne, and a brother, Sherman Payne Jr., all of Collierville, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Small, all of Memphis, and Larry Small Jr. of Key West, Fla.

Trina Hurd Smith, 33, of Memphis, store manager for Holliday Fashion, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett. She was a member of Noah Chapel AME Church. Thomas E. Spain III, 78, of Collierville, who was in real estate before his retirement, died Wednesday at his home.
