Robbie McQuiston, 84, of Memphis, former secretary for Dr. Maxie Dunnam at Christ United Methodist Church, former military secretary during World War II, former secretary for Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church, and retired Memphis City Schools secretary, died Sunday at Kirby Pines Manor. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ United Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. McQuiston, the widow of Paul G. McQuiston Jr., leaves a daughter, Janice Parnell of Germantown; a brother, Joe Banks of Franklin, Tenn., and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Christ United Methodist Church.

Vickie Lynn Nunley, 42, of Memphis, employee of Coleman Pit Barbecue, died Thursday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home with burial in New Park cemetery. She was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. She leaves two sons, Larry McHatch of Atlanta and Tavario McHatch of Memphis; four sisters, Cynthia Nunley, Gwendolyn Nunley, Kimberly Daugherty and Tammy Bell, all of Memphis; three brothers, Isadore Nunley of Jackson, Tenn., Eugene Nunley of Memphis and Michael Nunley of Toledo, Ohio, and a granddaughter.

Roger Gene Pinson, 67, of Memphis, chief of security and director of human resources at Imperial Security and retired from the Navy after 28 years, died Thursday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Union Grove Institutional Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Pinson, the husband of Brenda Joyce Pinson, also leaves three daughters, Tiffany Pinson of Memphis, and Lynn Pinson Paul and Dr. Letitia Pinson, both of Los Angeles; two sons, Christopher Pinson of Memphis and Corey Pinson of Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Sherita Cunningham Ferguson, and a stepson, Cortez Woods, both of Memphis; a sister, Trudy Pinson Kendall of Sacramento, Calif., and five grandchildren.

Virginia 'Scottie' Rice, 84, of Memphis, homemaker, died Saturday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home with burial at 11 a.m. Monday in National cemetery. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Rice, the widow of Johnny Rice, leaves three daughters, Emma Jean Dodson of Collierville, and Pauline Perkins and Sherry Ann Betts, both of Memphis; two sons, Ernest Rice and Johnny Lewis Rice, and two sisters, Mamie Mosby and Linnie Ruth Parrish, all of Memphis; two brothers, Willie Frank Wiseman of Collierville and Herbert Cash of Memphis, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Russell, the wife of Hilliard Russell III, also leaves two sons, Hilliard Arthur Russell IV and Jackie Dewayne Russell, both of Memphis; her stepmother, Betty Draffin of Arkansas; four sisters, Virginia Lee Skelton of Virginia, Kathy Blaydess of Arkansas, and Ray Sue Bishop and Barbara Douglas, both of Memphis, and two grandchildren.

Mr. Spain, the widower of Mary Spain, leaves a daughter, Lynn McCarthy of Mountain Home, Ark.; a son, Kenneth Spain Jr. of Cordova; six sisters, Madlyn Rosel of Cordova, Jeraldine Spain and Mary Flippin, both of Huntingdon, Tenn., and Jamie Mason, Janice Carpenter and Ernestine Spain, all of Cedar Grove, Tenn.; two brothers, Tommy Spain of Cedar Grove and Johnny Spain of Jackson, Tenn., and three grandchildren.
