Edwards & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Galilee Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Rossville. Mr. Murrell, the husband of Carrie Murrell, also leaves 12 daughters, Willie B. Hunter, Mary Hughes, Samella Collier, Ludene Bell, Ola Taylor, Charlene Murrell, Donna Murrell, Margaret Murrell and Tracy Lurry, all of Memphis, Lillie Gilliham of Old Hickory, Tenn., Rosie Davis of Gary, Ind., and Brenda Murrell of Minnesota; eight sons, Robert Knight and Charles Murrell, both of Memphis, Willie Lee Murrell Jr. of Iowa, Leon Murrell and Bobby Murrell, both of Minnesota, Kenneth Lurry of Arizona, Melvin Murrell of Atlanta and William Murrell of Arkansas, 75 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Lonnie Pendleton, 83, of Memphis, homemaker, died Sunday at Methodist University Hospital.
