Covington -- Bobby Leroy Conlee, 57, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Rogers Family cemetery in Atoka. He leaves two brothers, Willie Conlee of Tipton and Danny H. Conlee of Chicago.

Covington -- Claire W. Lipsey, 73, of Earlville, N.Y., formerly of Covington, cattle farmer, died Sunday at Bassett Healthcare in Earlville. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Clopton United Methodist Church with burial in Clopton cemetery. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Mrs. Lipsey, the wife of Bill Lipsey, also leaves two daughters, Karlyn Grzymkowski of Poolville, N.Y., and Barclay L. McCauley of Newstead, N.Y.; two sons, Henry J. Goolsby III of Winchester and William Lipsey of Earlville; a stepdaughter, Karen Sebek of Victoria, Australia, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Wanderer's Rest Humane Society.

Dyersburg -- Joseph E. Kaplan, 100, retired merchant and owner of Kaplan's, died Wednesday at Wesley of Dyersburg Nursing Center. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jewish cemetery in Greenville, Miss. Dyersburg Funeral Home has charge. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Kiwanis Club, Scottish Rite of Memphis and Masonic Lodge 490 in Leland, Miss. Mr. Kaplan, the widower of Violet Sturdivant Kaplan, leaves a son, Harry A. Kaplan of Dyersburg, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Halls -- Carmon Belton, 84, retired well driller, electrician and plumber, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Edith cemetery near Ripley. He was a Mason and a member of Halls First United Methodist Church. Mr. Belton, the husband of Frances Reece Belton, also leaves three sons, Carmon Reece Belton of Halls, Timothy Ray Belton of Jackson and Robert Jeffery Belton of Ripley, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Edith cemetery.

Moscow -- Pearlie Mae Hodge, 79, homemaker, died March 10 at NHC Healthcare in Somerville. Services will be at noon Saturday at Nollies Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in McCulley cemetery in Oakland. Mabone Funeral Home in Somerville has charge. She leaves seven daughters, Betty Barber and Betty Jean Mason, both of Moscow, Betty Louise Hunt of Michigan, Rosie Griggs of Somerville, Diane McNeil of Rossville, and Mary Hodge and Mary Ann McNeil, both of Macon; seven sons, James Smith of Memphis, J.W. Hodge of Williston, J.C. Hodge, Willie Hodge and Charles Hodge, all of Moscow, Mack Hodge of Mississippi and Jack Hodge of Somerville, 62 grandchildren and 90 great-grandchildren.

Newbern -- Joe Ladd, 77, of Greenfield, formerly of Newbern, retired farmer and retired manager of Federal Land Bank, died Thursday at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Fairview cemetery. He was a member, former deacon and Sunday school teacher for 30 years at Greenfield First Baptist Church. Mr. Ladd, the husband of Sue Ladd, also leaves a daughter, Lori Needham of Bradford; a son, Danny Ladd of Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister, Sue Johnson of Dyersburg, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Greenfield First Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Oakland -- Amos Bremmer, 97, retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home. Services will be at noon Monday at Divine Purpose Baptist Church in Arlington with burial in Harris & Taylor cemetery there. Millington Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Bremmer, the husband of Rosa Bremmer for 61 years, also leaves nine daughters, Dortha Harris, Lillie Ivy, Elsa Small and Mary Bremmer, all of Oakland, Janet Stevenson, Brenda Springfield and Michelle Brown, all of Memphis, and Queita Rhodes and Loretta McNeil, both of Somerville; two sons, John Bremmer of Memphis and Robert Dandridge of Moreno Valley, Calif., 50 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Ripley -- Clara Louise Adams, 67, employee of Magantex Manufacturing Co., died Wednesday at Delta Medical Center in Memphis. Services were Thursday at Currie's Funeral Home in Henning. She was a member of Eastland Baptist Church. She leaves a son, Michael Fain of Ripley; a brother, Bobby Fain of Ripley, and six grandchildren.

Mr. Glass, the husband of Donna Glass, also leaves two daughters, Angela Glass and Jennifer Glass, both of Ripley; his mother, Virginia Daniel of Atoka; his father, Fred Glass of Covington; five sisters, Diane Byrd of Mason, Margaret Pensak of Newark, Del., Janet Glass of Atoka, and Annette Glass and Dianne Glass, both of Covington; three brothers, Jerry Glass and Freddy Glass, both of Memphis, and Sidney Glass of Ripley, and four grandchildren.
