Doris Mae Green, 83, of Memphis, retired from Goldsmith's, died Saturday at St. Peter Villa. Services were Monday at Open Door Bible Church, where she was a member, with burial in Forest Hill cemetery South. Roller Family Funeral Home had charge. Mrs. Green, the widow of Clarence Lee Green, leaves a son, William Green of Memphis, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Open Door Bible Church.

Monroe Lewis Jr., 49, of Memphis, former laborer for Coca-Cola Bottling Co., died Thursday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Bellevue Baptist Church with burial in Union cemetery. Family Mortuary has charge. He leaves three daughters, Erica Lewis of Memphis, and Cynethia Lewis and Avery Lewis, both of Detroit; a son, Monroe Lewis III; his father, Monroe Lewis; five sisters, Debra Lewis Herron, Sherry Lewis, Carla Lewis, Angela Fossett and Carolyn Fossett; two brothers, Steve Lewis and Ronnie Lewis, and his grandmother, Ola Mae Crews, all of Memphis.

Charles Edward 'C.J.' Moore Jr., 23, of Memphis, student at the University of Memphis, died Saturday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in Union cemetery in Lucy. Victory Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Zion Temple Baptist Church. He leaves his father, Charles Edward Moore; his mother, Chestine V. Walker; a brother, Kevin D. Brooks, and three stepbrothers, Devenless Walker Jr., Alvin Amos and Trimaine Bonds, all of Memphis.

Roland Miles Sachenbacher, 81, of Memphis, plumber, died Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Catholic. Mr. Sachenbacher, the widower of Roslyn Regina Sachenbacher, leaves six daughters, June Giles of Friendswood, Texas, Susan Ferrell of Cleveland, Texas, Regina Norwood and Sandra Holloway, both of Memphis, and Mary Key and Caroline Kunkle, both of Olive Branch; five sons, Frank Sachenbacher of Cordova, Roland Miles Sachenbacher Jr. and Robert Sachenbacher, both of Memphis, and Joe Sachenbacher and Michael Sachenbacher, both of Bartlett; a sister, Frances Campbell of Bartlett, 34 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Wilbur J. 'Bill' Schmal, 91, of Memphis, formerly of Miami, Fla., retired handicapper at Flagel Park in Miami and Southland Park in West Memphis, died Monday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran. He leaves a niece, Joann R. Meegan of Memphis, and nephew, Bob Funderlic of Carey, N.C., both of whom helped take care of him.

Mrs. Shack, the wife of Eddie Shack, also leaves two daughters, Heather Mae Shack and Jasmine Dominica Shack, both of Memphis; her father, Walter Haire of Vardaman, Miss.; four sisters, Rockie Nelson of Marionville, Mo., Carol Smith of Houston, Miss., and Emma Haire and Twilene Tutors, both of Calhoun City, Miss., and three brothers, Walter Haire Jr. of Vardaman, and Joe Haire and David Haire, both of Houlka, Miss.
