Catherine Spears, 70, of Memphis, cook for Britland Cafeteria, died March 15 at Graceland Nursing Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Unity Christian Church, where she was a member of the auxiliary and Women of Unity, with burial in New Park cemetery. Mrs. Spears, the widow of Cecil Spears, leaves a stepdaughter, Lisa Spears-McPherson of Memphis; a sister, Zeothia Peacock of Ohio; two brothers, Roosevelt Pippin of Milwaukee and Lee Owens of Little Rock, and two grandchildren.

Mario Montell Stewart, 38, of Memphis, died Tuesday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Memorial Park South Woods. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Stewart, the husband of Martina J. Stewart, also leaves a daughter, Brianna Stewart; two sons, Mario M. Stewart Jr. and Maurion M. Stewart; his mother, Linda Stewart; his father, Jerome Mosby; three sisters, Charmyne Stewart, Shanita Leverson and Andria Leverson, and six brothers, Markell Stewart, Cortez Stewart, Christopher Stewart, Michael Stewart, Jermaine Leverson and Quinton Mosby, all of Memphis.

Darrell Swank, 22, of Collierville, student, private pilot and employee of Global Granite Co., died Monday in Southaven. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Grace Evangelical Church on Wolfe River Boulevard in Germantown. Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven has charge. He leaves his parents, Lynn and Allan Swank; a sister, Carrie Campbell, and a brother, Scott Swank, all of Collierville, and his grandparents, Patricia Tuttle Paulus and Frances and Elliott Swank, all of California. Rev. Charles E. Thomas, 94, of Memphis, retired pastor of Greater Hyde Park Missionary Baptist Church, died Tuesday at Parkway Health & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at noon Saturday at Morningview Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in New Park cemetery. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Rev. Thomas, the widower of Lillie Mae Catchings Thomas, leaves three daughters, Rutha Thomas and Frances Cade, both of Memphis, and Evelyn Johnson of Buffalo, N.Y.; a son, Harold Thomas of Springfield, Va.; five sisters, Nannie Oliver, Eloise Varnado, Mae Julia Lowery and Thelma King, all of Memphis, and Louise Ortiz of Houston; a brother, Lee Thomas Jr. of Memphis, 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Irma Lee Todd-Brown, 63, of Memphis, died Sunday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. She leaves a daughter, Alicia Brown; three sons, Victor Brown, Maurice Brown and Terrance Brown, and five sisters, Armida Butler, Hattie Mae Denton, Judy Hicks, Bonnie Boxley and Mary Helen Todd, all of Memphis; two brothers, Fred Todd of Memphis and L.H. Martin of Cayce, nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
