James Anthony Comella, 81, of Memphis, sales manager for Air Temp Inc./AT Distributors/Carrier Corp. for 50 years, died Saturday at Methodist University Hospital. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where he was a communicant and chairman of the Cathedral Restoration Committee, with burial in Memorial Park. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a World War II veteran, recipient of the Air Medal, a member of Memphi Cotton Carnival Society, executive board member of the University Club of Memphis, a board member of Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School, an adviser to the building committee of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, a graduate of Bellefontaine (Ohio) High School, Purdue University and Ohio State University and attended Southern Law University. Mr. Comella, the husband of Patricia Thompson Comella, also leaves a son, James Gary Comella of Memphis; a sister, Rosie Donovan of Renton, Wash.; a brother, Robert Comella of Friendship, Ark., and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception or a charity of the donor's choice.

Bryan Keith Copeland, 40, of Germantown, software engineer for FedEx, died Thursday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evans Funeral Home in Houston, Mo., with burial in Allen cemetery in Raymondville, Mo. He was an Army veteran, a graduate of Wichita State University and a member of River Oaks Reformed Presbyterian Church. He leaves a son, Connor Copeland; his parents, Alberta and Keith Copeland of St. Roberts, Mo., and two brothers, Kevin Copeland of Lakewood, Colo., and Steven Copeland of Las Vegas. Robert L. Dunn, 71, of Memphis, retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, died Friday at his home. Bartlett Funeral Home has charge. Wilma Roach Hawkins, 84, of Memphis, retired from Holiday Inn, died Friday at Kirby Pines Manor. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Munford cemetery. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hawkins, the widow of Ershel Roach and Lawrence Hawkins, leaves two daughters, Becky Ramos of Byhalia, Miss., and Linda Elmore of Bartlett; a son, Edwin Roach of Olive Branch; two sisters, Nola Anderson of Drasco, Ark., and Nell Fullerton of Heber Springs, Ark., and five grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington with burial in Northridge Woodhaven cemetery. He was an Army veteran and of the Church of Christ faith. Mr. Henderson, the husband of Shelia Henderson for 33 years, also leaves a daughter, Wendy Black of Southaven; a son, Jody Henderson of Atoka; three sisters, Anita Seckt of Millington, and Merle Bradley and Ella Freeze, both of Memphis; a brother, Joseph Henderson of Beaumont, Texas, and a grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ralph B. Kennedy, 78, of Coffeeville, Miss., formerly of Memphis, retired traffic coordinator for Schering Plough after 42 years, died Thursday at his home. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a Shriner, a member and past master of Normal Masonic Lodge 722 and attended Coffeeville First Baptist Church. Mr. Kennedy, the widower of Nelwyn Kennedy, leaves a daughter, Patricia Kennedy Moore of Water Valley, Miss.; a son, Joseph Kennedy of Coffeeville; a sister, Jean Tannachion of Lake City, Fla.; two brothers, Kyle Kennedy and Charles Kennedy, both of Knoxville, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
