Mrs. Jones, the widow of Thomas J. Jones, leaves three daughters, Marcia Owens and Tanya Martchek, both of Munford, and Melissa Jones of South Bend, Ind., and four grandchildren.

Somerville -- James Leslie Flanagan, 91, retired lineman for Chickasaw Electric Cooperative after 32 years, died Monday at NHC Healthcare. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen cemetery in Williston. He was a Baptist. Mr. Flanagan, the widower of Edna Flanagan, leaves two sons, Lee Flanagan of Horn Lake and Hardy Flanagan of Somerville; a sister, Minnie Lee Cooper of Pittsboro, Miss.; a brother, Malcolm Flanagan of St. Louis, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society Fayette County Chapter or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
