Somerville -- Jack Herman McNabb, 79, retired deputy and jailer for Fayette County Sheriff's Office and former farmer, landowner and pilot, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Somerville City cemetery. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a charter member of Landmark Baptist Church. Mr. McNabb, the husband of Ouida Morris McNabb, also leaves three daughters, Barbara Austin of Lakeland, Connie Dancy of Memphis and Jackie Perkins of Lexington; a son, Dennis McNabb of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Tammy Crump of Somerville; two stepsons, Billy Carl McAlexander and Glen McAlexander, both of Somerville; a brother, William McNabb of Oakland, numerous grandchildren and a great-grandson.
