Services will be at noon Saturday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. J.A. Lofties Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Catron, the widow of Tommie Catron, leaves eight daughters, Annie M. Catron-Digby, Lois V. Hartley, Johnella Reid, Sally P. Catron, Christine Catron and Jacqueline D. Catron, all of Memphis, and Gladys M. McNeal and Shirley M. Trotter, both of Somerville; four sons, Thomas Catron of Chicago, Larry L. Catron of Memphis, James Catron of Moscow and Danny R. Catron of Williston; two sisters, Cora Lewis of Memphis and Rebecca Holmes of Chicago; three brothers, Samuel Lee Digby of Brunswick, Hulon Digby of Chicago and Willie L. Digby of Hammond, Ind., 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Somerville -- Jack Herman McNabb, 79, retired deputy and jailer for Fayette County Sheriff's Office and former farmer, landowner and pilot, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Somerville City cemetery. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a charter member of Landmark Baptist Church. Mr. McNabb, the husband of Ouida Morris McNabb, also leaves three daughters, Barbara Austin of Lakeland, Connie Dancy of Memphis and Jackie Perkins of Lexington; a son, Dennis McNabb of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Tammy Crump of Somerville; two stepsons, Billy Carl McAlexander and Glen McAlexander, both of Somerville; a brother, William McNabb of Oakland, numerous grandchildren and a great-grandson. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Landmark Baptist Church.

She attended Faith Church of God. Mrs. Wilkerson, the widow of Edward Jerome Wilkerson, leaves two daughters, Carolyn Jordan and Shelia Logan, both of Somerville; a sister, Bessie Manley of Bolivar; four brothers, Robert Logan of Somerville, Jerry Logan of Whiteville, Terry Logan of Hickory Valley and Bobby Logan of Arlington, and three grandchildren.

Toone -- Clarence Franklin Claunch, 67, master plumber and owner of Claunch Plumbing, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in Eureka cemetery in McNairy County. He was a Navy veteran and a Baptist. Mr. Claunch, the widower of Sadie J. Carlin Claunch and husband of Oneida Claunch, also leaves four daughters, Debbie Moore and Stephanie Rene Morris, both of Collierville, and Michelle Hopper and Cindy Mitchell, both of Lexington; a son, Dennis Claunch, and two sisters, Diane Hill and Henrietta Wilson, all of Collierville; a brother, Mitt Claunch of Toone, 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

He was a Marine Corps and Army Special Forces veteran, a recipient of the National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, Vietnam Service medal with one star and Rifle Expert badge, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Scottish Rite. Mr. Branson, the husband of Martha Lusk Branson, also leaves three sons, Christopher Branson of Tennessee, Jimmy Branson of Searcy, Ark., and Eric Sweeten of Memphis; a brother, William Branson of Memphis, and six grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Disabled American Veterans.
