Robert Lynn Maupin, 58, of Bartlett, owner of Interiorscapes of Memphis, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Bartlett Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a Vietnam War veteran. Mr. Maupin, the husband of Haila T. Maupin, also leaves a daughter, Courtney Leigh Maupin, and his mother, Jaime Maupin, both of Bartlett, and two sisters, Robyn Maupin of Boston and Sarah Steff of Atlanta. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Memphis Shelby County Humane Society.

Sammie J. McDaniel, 76, of Memphis, retired truck driver for American Freight, died Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. He was an Army veteran. Mr. McDaniel, the widower of Orma L. McDaniel, leaves three daughters, Cynthia Chambers, Carolyn Carrick and Alfreda McDaniel, all of Memphis; eight sons, Sammie J. McDaniel Jr., Cecil McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, Brent McDaniel, Michael McDaniel, Patrick McDaniel and Bernard McDaniel, all of Memphis, and Larry McDaniel of Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Katherine McDaniel and Myrtle Lee McDaniel, both of Chicago; five brothers, Johnny McDaniel and Henry Lee McDaniel, both of Chicago, Henry McDaniel of Texas, and Ben McDaniel and Floyd McDaniel, both of Lexington, Miss., 36 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Raymond W. Peete, 96, of Memphis, retired machine operator for U.S. Steel, died Thursday at St. Peter Villa. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Midtown Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial in New Park cemetery. J.O. Patterson Mortuary has charge. Mr. Peete, the widower of Elizabeth Peete, leaves a caregiver, Phyllis Randolph.

Leatha Harper Strickland, 67, of Memphis, formerly of Clarksdale, Miss., retired educator, died Tuesday in Memphis. Services will be at noon today at Century Funeral Home in Clarksdale with burial in Heavenly Rest cemetery in Lyon, Miss. She leaves her mother, Annie Lee Harper of Clarksdale, and four sisters, Emma Simpson of Clarksdale, and Christine Medford, Linda Dunn and Brenda Bryant, all of Memphis.

Rena M. Walton, 83, of Memphis, former elevator operator for Los Angeles Times, died Tuesday at Methodist South Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at National cemetery. E.H. Ford Mortuary has charge. Mrs. Walton, the widow of Frank Grimes, leaves a son, Robert Hoskins, and two nieces who helped care for her, Natalie L. Garvins and Brenda Lee, all of Memphis, and three grandchildren.

Emma Watkins, 63, of Memphis, retired from Methodist Hospitals, died Monday at Prime Medical Group. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Pearly Gates Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a choir and usher board member, with burial in New Park cemetery. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Watkins, the wife of Allen W. Watkins, also leaves three daughters, Vivian Trywick, Sheila Sanders and Teresa Watkins, and four sons, Quinton Watkins, Cassius Watkins, Regerald Watkins and Sewanee Watkins, all of Memphis; four sisters, Rosie Watkins of Somerville, Ola Jenkins of Stanton, and Ruby Pirtle and Lauila Pruitt, both of Brownsville, Tenn.; five brothers, Johnny Bufford and L.C. Gibbs, both of St. Louis, Jay B. Bufford and William Earl Bufford, both of Memphis, and Jimmy Bufford of Somerville, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Flossie Wilkins, 93, of Memphis, retired housekeeper, died Tuesday at Methodist South Hospital. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. today at Love (Miss.) First Baptist Church with burial in Greenview Memorial Gardens in Nesbit. Hernando Funeral Home has charge. She leaves two daughters, Olivia White and Ida Peoples, both of Memphis; a son, DeLawrence Wilkins of Tampa, Fla., 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 39 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hampton, the widow of Glendon Hampton, leaves five sons, Jim Hampton and Joe Hampton, both of Dyersburg, Mike Hampton of Plattsmouth, Neb., David Hampton of Jackson, Miss., and Don Hampton of Cordova; two sisters, Dorothy Sorrell of Dyersburg and Billie Joyce Viar of Glendora, Calif., seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a charter member of Landmark Baptist Church. Mr. McNabb, the husband of Ouida Morris McNabb, also leaves three daughters, Barbara Austin of Lakeland, Connie Dancy of Memphis and Jackie Perkins of Lexington; a son, Dennis McNabb of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Tammy Crump of Somerville; two stepsons, Billy Carl McAlexander and Glen McAlexander, both of Collierville; a brother, William McNabb of Oakland, numerous grandchildren and a great-grandson. Webb, all of Trimble; three brothers, Bob Page of Trimble, James H. Page of Levittown, Pa., and Robert M. Page of Pennsylvania, six stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was a Navy veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus and communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Dean, the husband of Violet Dean, also leaves three sons, Kenneth Michael Dean of Raleigh, N.C., Donald Edwin Dean of Granville, Ohio, and David Lee Dean of Cordova; his parents, Albert and Myra Dean; a sister, Mae Johnson, and two brothers, Chester Dean and Ronnie Dean, all of Washington Court House, Ohio, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
