Middleton -- Louis G. 'L.G.' Stewart, 75, retired machine operator for Wedco Technology in Grand Junction, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in New Hope cemetery in Benton County, Miss. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Moose Lodge in Litchfield, Ill. Mr. Stewart, the widower of Harriet Mae Stewart, leaves two daughters, Micky Stewart of Jackson and Renee Stewart of Middleton; three sons, Donnie Stewart of Byhalia, Miss., and Roger Stewart and Joe Stewart, both of Saulsbury; two sisters, Edna Martin of Ripley and Sudie Weller of Litchfield, five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.

Ramer -- Erbie Lemuel Locke Jr., 76, retired from the Air Force after 26 years, died Sunday at Magnolia Regional Healthcare. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with burial in Antioch cemetery. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ, Ramer Ruritan Club and Air Force Sergeants Association. Mr. Locke, the husband of Peggy Howell Locke, also leaves two daughters, Kathryn Elaine Pearson of Fullerton, Calif., and Donna Camille Horton of Burkburnett, Texas; a son, Bryan Douglas Locke of Corinth, Miss.; three stepdaughters, Cathee Caldwell of Corinth, and Linda Knighton and Anita Ingham, both of Ramer; three stepsons, Wayne Melton, Richard Melton and David Melton; a sister, Grace Collins, and a brother, Dale Locke, all of Ramer, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Antioch Church of Christ.

Maxine Henderson Busby, 87, of Memphis, hairdresser, died Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital. She leaves two daughters, Judy Pace of Millington and Mary Ann Brand of Germantown, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Shawnda Lynn Champion-Veazey, 31, of Memphis, operator for MCI, died Friday at Methodist North Hospital. Services will be at noon Saturday at New Testament Gospel Christian Church, where she was a member, with burial in St. Matthew's cemetery in Millington. Jefferson Mortuary has charge. Mrs. Champion-Veazey, the wife of Homer Veazey Jr., also leaves two daughters, Taylor Veazey and Kaylon Veazey, and her mother and stepfather, Johnnie Mae and Hubert Reed, all of Memphis; her father and stepmother, George and Lorene Champion of Fayette County, Tenn.; two sisters, Lita Tatum and Johnetta Shaw, both of Memphis; two half-sisters, Beverly Williams and Jacqueline Butler, both of Fayette County; two brothers, Carlos Shaw and Marquette Shaw, both of Memphis; a half-brother, Calvin Champion of Fayette County; a stepsister, Lucille Lolar, and two stepbrothers, Marcus Reed and Hubert Reed Jr., all of Kansas City. The family requests that any memorials be sent to New Testament Gospel Christian Church.

Loretta Jean Chandler, 70, of Memphis, retired bus driver for the Bolin Institute, died Monday at Methodist University Hospital. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with graveside services at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary. Harrison's Funeral Home Orange Mound Chapel has charge. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and graduate of Melrose High School. She leaves two daughters, Tonya L. Friend and Sandra L. Taylor, both of Memphis; a son, Douglas I. Richmond of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Thelma Rose Dallas and Georgia Glover Brown, both of Memphis, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. She was president and member of Les Passees, the Dilletantes and Tuesday Study Club, member of Junior League of Memphis, National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, the Women's Club, the Woman's Exchange of Memphis, Our Home and Garden Club and Arawata Garden Club, and graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She had been a core leader in Community Bible Study since 1993. Mrs. Donelson, the widow of Samuel Rembert Donelson, leaves two daughters, Virginia Tucker Donelson of Memphis and Nancy Donelson Penczner of Potomac, Md.; a son, Dr. Andrew Oliver Donelson of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Eleanora Oliver Mejlaender of West Memphis, and four grandchildren.
