Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garner Funeral Home with burial in Thurmond cemetery in Halls. Mr. Thurmond, the husband of Debra Thurmond, also leaves a sister, Carol Tompkins of Ripley, and a brother, George Thurmond of Brookfield, Ill.

Saltillo -- Rosa Prater Collins, 96, inspector at H.I.S. Manufacturing and school cafeteria cook, died Saturday at Hardin County Regional Hospital in Savannah. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Saltillo Church of Christ, where she attended, with burial in Shady Grove cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah has charge. James J. Angy, 85, of Memphis, retired railway mail clerk for the Postal Service, died Sunday at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Collierville.
